RACE TWO

KAANAPALI (7) will need some factors to go his way but with following out a horse capable of holding the front, he will just need to find the passing lane within momentum. A winner from the front 3 starts back, he hit the line in good style here 2 starts back and with even luck can cash-in.

GLENFERRIE DUSTER (9) had done well without getting the return here 3 starts back over the 1780m and followed that with 3m margin to the winner off gate 10 over the 2040m Forget his latest start at Armidale over the 2360m, with the right cart into this he can go close.

LYNNSANITY (5) was too far back when trying to take ground off the leader and winner last start at Marburg. That followed a strong qualifier taken out by LILAC FLASH and he has podium claims.

ELMAUR JOY (4) led them up last start and was gripping to the front when grabbed by the big price winner WEEDONS EXPRESS. She hit the line nicely 2 starts back when buried away and has place claims.

RACE THREE

MOTU REAL STYLE (4) is a great beginner and from this gate can look to get across them early to find the front and from there dictate. Not suited at her 1^st Redcliffe appearance here last week from the 2^nd line, her run 2 back was solid from the front and in great form can look to take control here.

BROADWATER (3) was sketchy in his gear at release point last start and was held back to maintain gait from the 2 hole. Working hard in the run over the 2280m, he battled on gamely to be 4m from the winner. Only beaten a nose 3 starts back he might need to work in the run again but is in the mix.

SONNY ORLANDO (7) resumes from a spell and comes into this a last start winner when using the passing lane to score a 1780m win. A winner over the AP mile 3 starts back he will get the cosy trip which suits and he can feature.

HAMMERHOFF (1) didn’t appreciate working in the run last start from the breeze and he faded out. With good early speed he can look to control the tempo and will be gripping on.

RACE FOUR

LIVING GRAND (7) will need plenty of luck from this gate but should he happen to see space with track to work with this is the type of race he can feature in. Forced to work home wide out on Sat night when mid-field, his efforts 3 and 4 starts back were solid and he just needs some luck here.

BLAZING VC (4) pressed on to find the pegs off gate 2 last start and once in control packed too many guns to score over the 2040m. That was her 1^st start in over one month and 1^st for the new barn and with further benefit from that run can look to throw down the challenge here.

RUTHLESS ARMBRO (5) makes his Qld debut for the Grant Dixon barn and will be 1^st up since July. He looked sharp in winning a trial here to open the pipes and must be respected.

MIRACLESDOAPPEN (3) made the most of the ace gate last week and despite being keep in the run held on for a strong win. On the short back-up she did plenty of work on Fri and has podium claims in this.

RACE FIVE

ARCH EMPRESS (1) will take further benefit from her latest start when 2^nd up from a let-up. Starting from the 2^nd line at Marburg she couldn’t get into the contest from back in the field. Without the greatest of luck when resuming from inside the 2^nd line, she can look to dictate terms here.

WAVEDANCER (9) was a winner here 4 starts back when working home strongly from back in the pack to take the win. Fighting hard from the breeze at his next outing, he has taken on stronger fields at his past 2. With the right cart into the contest he can issue a challenge.

MODERN THOUGHT (3) has been in the money at 3 of her past 4 starts with the latest when getting within a nose of victory. With the early speed to find a position she is right in the fight.

LAZY BLAZE (2) will strip fitter from his latest outing when returning from a break. Buried in the run he was sound to the line. Off the 2^nd line at his past 5 in succession, he can be sharper here.

DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (1) made the best possible start when proving too strong from the breeze and holding on for a narrow win. She will take great experience from the run and with the benefit of gate 1 can look to make it back-to-back wins to start her career.

PETES PET ROCK (3) tried to take them all the way here last week when DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE was able to grind out the win from the breeze. Forget she went around at Marburg on Sun when striking trouble she will be right in the fight again here with the good alley.

ROBINMEGOOD (7) will find this slightly easier than his career debut when down the line behind SIXPENNY RED. Drawn to get a cosy trip on the pegs he can be much sharper 2^nd up.

LITTLE ARROWS (2) is still searching for a maiden breaking victory and has been showing steady improvement in recent starts. Finishing 8m from the winner last start, she can be thereabouts here.
