RACE TWO

ELLE JAY (1) was looking to complete a threepeat of victories here last start when pressing forward from gate 6 to find the front. Fighting hard, it was an even tempo out in front when finishing 5m from the winner to claim 3rd. Leading throughout at both previous outings, the improved gate is a big plus and she gets every chance to dictate.

HOLLIE (7) loomed strongly here last start and looked like she was about to grab a drought breaking win, only to be grabbed on the wire when beaten an eyelash. Looking to take them all the way the start prior and finishing 7m in arrears, she looks set for the easy trip here to take the closing shot.

SHEZ GOT BLING (8) led them up here on Sunday night and was left alone out in front over the sprint trip. Despite the lack of pressure and a 64.1 opening half, she could not see it out. The pegs look the place to play here.

ROCK THE HOUSE (4) eased from gate 6 last start before making a strong closing challenge to grab the bronze and finish 3m from the winner. Kept fresh since that outing, he can be chiming in late.

SELECTIONS: ELLE JAY (1), HOLLIE (7), SHEZ GOT BLING (8), ROCK THE HOUSE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-4-7-8

RACE THREE

THE WHISTLER (2) is a Cammibest filly on debut for Donny Smith trained here on the track. A half-sister to the four-time winner The Black Flash, she has prepared with a nice trial where she looked to pace cleanly and do everything right when leading all the way. Her career can open in style.

BIG GEM MONTANA (5) will take good benefit from his return from a spell when finishing with the silver here last start. Showing early speed before opting for the trail, he was 4m from the winner. A winner at his 2nd career start here back in May, he faces a sticky gate but can still throw it down.

JOY TO ALL (9) will take further benefit from her latest start when 2nd up from a spell. Buried in the run when resuming, she led them up last start and held on for 3rd albeit 20m from the winner. She can chime in late.

ROCK STAR BABE (8) settled in the pocket trail last start but could not go on with it in the closing stages over the 2040m. Back to the sprint trip and with the right trail, she can find the podium.

SELECTIONS: THE WHISTLER (2), BIG GEM MONTANA (5), JOY TO ALL (9), ROCK STAR BABE (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

GUTS (2)
started from inside the 2nd line last start and was soon buried in transit and never saw daylight to offer. Runner-up in 3 of his previous 4 starts, he was making a closing charge here 2 starts back when beaten a lip and had followed a half-neck margin when grabbed late. He can look to dictate.

SIXPENNY RED (5) eased from gate 4 to find position last start before finding the line in good order when not that far from the winner MONTANA LAD. An all the way winner here 3 starts back when sent straight to the front from gate 2, positioning cheaply will be key to her chances to challenge.

NIGHT NINJA (4) Took on the recent Marburg to Albion series fresh where he was able to grab 3rd in the heat behind FAST IS BETTOR. Beaten by gate 10 in the final, he is a podium chance in this line-up.

ROBINMEGOOD (8) has been kept fresh since his last appearance when not that far from the winner FAVOURITEHIGHLIGHT. A passing lane winner 3 starts back, he is right in the fight here.

SELECTIONS: GUTS (2), SIXPENNY RED (5), NIGHT NINJA (4), ROBINMEGOOD (8)
SUGGESTED BET: GUTS (2) to win

RACE FIVE

VIEWBYTHEROCK (3)
was obliged to do it the tough way last start and was ion for the fight when 7m from the winner ROCKS OR DIAMONDS. The start prior he took on a stronger race when down the line which had followed successive placings here on The Triangle. From this gate he can out-muscle them.

WANJIRU (5) eased off the inside to the running line last start when closing in good order to be only 2m from the winner A KERRY MAN. Trying to take them all the way the start prior over the AP 2138m, she was fighting hard when grabbed late and only 2m from the winner. The gate stings.

PACIFIC COIN (8) was sent to the pegs hoping for some short-cuts when tackling a qualifier and chasing in vain behind the dictating winner LUCKY UNLUCKY last start. This is easier than his past few and he can be chiming in.

IM TOOT (1) has struggled to recapture his best when down the line his past few starts. With the inside gate, the option for a cosy trip is available and he can improve to place here.

SELECTIONS: VIEWBYTHEROCK (3), WANJIRU (5), PACIFIC COIN (8), IM TOOT (1)
SUGGESTED BET: VIEWBYTHEROCK (3) to win

RACE SIX

WILLSINTOWN (7) held the 1x1 trail here last start but just found the 2040m out of reach when unable to reel them in. Finishing over the top of them here 2 starts back from a smart win, it made it 6 starts in succession where he has hit the board. With the ideal trail, he will be ready for the snipers shot.

SHEZALUCKYLADY (1) lands her best gate since arriving in Qld where she has been able to place in both runs to date. Starting in the best way possible when finishing over the top to claim a smart win at Marburg over ALWAYS AT NIGHT, gate 6 was her undoing last start despite a nice 3rd. With the options she gets every chance.

NEWMERELLA MOLLY (8) was trying to work home wide off the track last start around the tight Marburg track and could not get into the contest. Tough in the breeze when runner-up here 3 starts back behind MISTER FINNIGAN, she can be thereabouts.

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (3) was content to sit just back from the wheel of the leader here on Sunday and when asked had too much power in putting them away. From the gate he is in the mix once again.

SELECTIONS: WILLSINTOWN (7), SHEZALUCKYLADY (1), NEWMERELLA MOLLY (8), ALWAYS AT NIGHT (3)
SUGGESTED BET: WILLSINTOWN (7) to win

RACE SEVEN

TORQUE ONETWOTHREE (2) eased from gate 3 last start over the 2138m at headquarters when attacking the line in nice style to be 7m from the winner MAN OF ACTION. Finishing strongly in a slick closing 800m here 2 starts back, she can look to settle at the pointy end and make the most of her chances.

IDEAL TIGER (9) eased from gate 5 over the AP mile last start before making a strong closing challenge to get within a neck of the winner ROLL WITH ROCKY. Chasing the start prior when nothing made ground behind the power running win of THE FORTUNATE SON, he can issue a challenge here.

MOLLYS SECRET (8) was after a hat-trick of victories last start when tackling a mares qualifier. Buried away in the run, she never had a good shot at them. Back to the triangle suits and she can chime in.

MONTEREY JACK (1) is probably better suited when able to work home wider off the track, yet he will secure the cosy trip here. Within 5m of JUSTA DALE along the passing lane 2 starts back, he will be ready to scoot.

SELECTIONS: TORQUE ONETWOTHREE (2), IDEAL TIGER (9), MOLLYS SECRET (8), MONTEREY JACK (1)
SUGGESTED BET: TORQUE ONETWOTHREE (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

MISTER HART (1) was in for the fight last start and only faded the closing stages after a tough run over the AP mile. Beaten by gate 7 the start prior when forced to retreat to find position, that had followed 3 successive placed efforts. With all the options from the ace, he gets his chance to cash-in.

ROGER THAT (7) was angled to the pegs last start when taking on qualifying company from the 2nd line. Searching for runs, he was not that far from the winner COMMODORE JUJON. Working home from a long way back behind NURBURGRING the starts prior, he will be probing for space.

OUR LITTLE DIGGER (9) eased across from gate 4 before receiving running line cover and then finishing over the top of them to score here last week. Relying on front-line speed and tempo from his standard bad gate, he can be chiming in.

JEROSH (4) can fire off the arm like a cannon when asked and he can take a good early look here. Doing a mountain of work outside KIWIS ARE FLYING last start, he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: MISTER HART (1), ROGER THAT (7), OUR LITTLE DIGGER (9), JEROSH (4)
SUGGESTED BET:
