RACE TWO

Sectionally superb last week when charging home from a rearward position, UNDER WORKED (10) ran the hands off the clock breaking 54 and 27 for his last 800/400 splits. Landing successive wins in this grade with the effort and making it 3 on the bounce, the tempo looks right for him to charge over the top again here.

JONAH JONES (8) was buried from this alley last start when searching for a way clear, finishing 4m from the winner YOUNG CONQUEROR and claiming the bronze. A passing lane winner when 3 back against the poles here 3 starts back, he can settle one position closer which could be all the difference that is required.

WATCH PULP FICTION (7) has now looked the winner at his past 2 starts only to be outgunned in the stretch by UNDER WORKED on each occasion. The gate does not help here but he will be thereabouts.

TWENTYEIGHTBLACK (1) has placed at his past 4 in succession, the latest when trying to take them all the way over the mile. Taking the trail from this gate 2 starts back when 2m from UNDER WORKED, he has the options to be in the money.

SELECTIONS: UNDER WORKED (10), JONAH JONES (8), WATCH PULP FICTION (7), TWENTYEIGHTBLACK (1)
SUGGESTED BET: UNDER WORKED (10) to win

RACE THREE

Gate 7 was the difference last time for COMMODORE JUJON (1) when easing to find position and settling a long way back and then not sighting open road when needed. Not too far from MISTERFREEZE here 2 starts back, he can be tucked in behind the speed ready to land the snipers shot.

KEY LARGO (3) is a brilliant beginner and from this alley can look to fire the early shots and take up the running. Setting the speed in front last start from gate 5, he was in front until the closing strides when just a head was the difference between victory. He will throw it down again here.

THE DEMOCRAT (8) held the pocket trail from gate 1 here on Tuesday and chased hard for the silver as STREET APPEAL took them all the way. The cosy trip against the markers should suit and he will be probing.

BLISSFULL LILLY (6) has no favours from out in gate 6, but her efforts from this same alley at her past 2 starts have had merit. Closing out smartly for 3rd to WHAS FIRE BUG 2 starts back, she just ended up too far back last time.

SELECTIONS: COMMODORE JUJON (1), KEY LARGO (3), THE DEMOCRAT (8), BLISSFULL LILLY (6)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-6-8

RACE FOUR

After a run of tough gates from the 2nd line and wider off the front, the marble as fallen in the favour of NOTORIOUS (1) to look to take full advantage. Eased from gate 7 last time out, he was attacking the line with venom when only a neck in arrears of the winner SLICK BLASTER. That followed a half-neck margin at Redcliffe, and he has all the options to capitalise here.

GLENEAGLE WARRIOR (10) claimed a 2nd division qualifier here 2 starts back when pouncing on the lead in the early stages and fighting them off for a 4m margin. Gunned down in front last start after setting an even tempo over the 2138m trip, he can be looking to make a closing challenge.

KING TRITON (6) does not have many favours from this alley but has been in consistent form in this grade. Leading them up last start to be 2m from SLICK BLASTER, he can be making a closing play.

FLO RYDA (8) settled in the running line over the 2138m here 2 starts back and was strong to the line when 4m from GLENEAGLE WARRIOR. Picking off some late metres last start behind CAPTAIN NEMO, he will be probing for the gaps here.

SELECTIONS: NOTORIOUS (1), GLENEAGLE WARRIOR (10), KING TRITON (6), FLO RYDA (8)
SUGGESTED BET: NOTORIOUS (1) to win

Resuming from a spell last week, the run of SPEECH IS SILVER (8) was super in defeat when charging home in the closing stages from the rear of the pack, laying down some sizzling panels in the process. Under 4m from the passing lane winner JERADAS DELIGHT, he will strip fitter for the run and has the 2nd line options to arrive.

KASH US BACK (6) started from inside the 2nd line last time out and sticking to the inside was using the passing lane when spearing home to grab 3rd when 1.5m from the winner. Not too far from TURN IT UP in the FFA the start prior, he has been returning some smart efforts and can challenge despite the gate here.

KANENA PROVLIMA (3) is a newcomer to Qld joining the Shawn Grimsey stable. He should be tightened after 2 runs back from a spell, the latest over the Menangle 2300m. He stays under notice.

IDEAL WORLD (4) will be fitter following 2 runs back from a break and finds a race where he can utilise his early power. Not too far from CARDLESFROMHEAVEN when resuming in FFA company, he can fire off the arm here and give some cheek.

SELECTIONS: SPEECH IS SILVER (8), KASH US BACK (6), KANENA PROVLIMA (3), IDEAL WORLD (4)
SUGGESTED BET: SPEECH IS SILVER (8) to win

RACE SIX

TURN IT UP (3)
had little to worry about last start when finding the front with ease over the 2138m and with a stroll through the opening half, was able to put them away with relative ease. Fitter for that run which was his 1st since July, he can find the front again here and take them all the way.

MAKE MINE MEMPHIS (2) fired off the arm to take control here last week over the 2138m and despite running some slick panels in front, could not repel the passing lane raid of JERADAS DELIGHT when beaten a half-neck. A gritty winner when sitting parked the start prior, he will be looking to throw it down.

NORTHVIEW HUSTLER (6) was sectionally super here last week when making his run from the rear and attacking the line to be within 2m of JERADAS DELIGHT. Runner-up the week prior to TURN IT UP, the small field will help.

SELECTIONS: TURN IT UP (3), MAKE MINE MEMPHIS (2), NORTHVIEW HUSTLER (6)
SUGGESTED BET: TURN IT UP (3) to win

RACE EIGHT

Although she comes up with the 2nd line gate COBBITY CASTLE (9) is going well enough to cash-in here. Doing some early work to find position here last week, she was strong to the line when 4m from PEPPA BLISS and backed that up with a 3m 3rd on Tuesday to GOING FOR GOLD. On a 15-run streak of finishing in the top-3, she can arrive.

WHICH HUNT (5) lands the sticky alley of gate 5 again here and with good speed drawn to the inside looks set to float back early. Eased to the poles from this alley last week, she chased for the bronze when 8m from the flying PEPPA BLISS. Around the money in this grade, she will again be challenging.

MOLLIESMARYELLE (2) found the spot behind the leader here 4 starts back and with the perfect trip was able to finish over the top to claim victory. 2nd line gates her past 2 have hurt, but her run had merit when 3rd here on Tuesday and she is in the mix.

JEWEL OF PEAK (4) has good early hustle and might just about be able to find the front from this gate. Taking them all the way here on Tuesday from gate 1, she will be throwing it down.

SELECTIONS: COBBITY CASTLE (9), WHICH HUNT (5), MOLLIESMARYELLE (2), JEWEL OF PEAK (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

ONE NIGHT OUT (2)
started from the 10m tape last start against easier opposition when making the strongest move in the latter stages to arrive for the prize. Asked to do it the tough way the start prior when holding on for the bronze, he can capitalise with the head start.

MORE SHADES OF GOLD (8) made an uncharacteristic error last start that ended his chances. Trying to take them all the way here 2 starts back, he could not reel in the deficit. Only 5m from RED CASTLETON here 3 starts back, he can be looking to chime into the action here.

NORTHERN MUSCLE (11) was trying to pick up some ground in the concluding stages last start when chasing behind SIR FAHRENHET. A gritty 3rd here 3 starts back, he was only 1m from RED CASTLETON and has claims.

DOUG (6) has been a money muncher in recent outings and again made an error at is latest outing over the 2647m trip. He can bob-up, but it all comes down to his manners.

SELECTIONS: ONE NIGHT OUT (2), MORE SHADES OF GOLD (8), NORTHERN MUSCLE (11), DOUG (6)
SUGGESTED BET:
