RACE TWO

IMA CALVERT ROSE (2) was trying to make a closing play at Redcliffe last start when midfield but still only 4m from the winner. Closing out in nice order the start prior, she has not been too far away without threatening but with the hadicap advantage looks to have found her chance.

IM THE COMMANDO (8) was a winner from a 10m tape 2 starts back when safely away and pressing forward to take control. Trying to make a closing raid last start, he was not too far from the winner when 5m in arrears. Despite the big impost, he can make a challenge here.

SPIDERS DEVIL (4) tackled the small FFA field on Saturday night and found them out of reach. Back to this grade where he was just a half-neck away 2 starts back looks more suitable.

CHASING GREAT (6) loomed up strongly at Redcliffe last start but was unable to stay ahead of the passing lane winner. With an even slice of luck, he can be thereabouts again.

SELECTIONS: IMA CALVERT ROSE (2), IM THE COMMANDO (8), SPIDERS DEVIL (4), CHASING GREAT (6)
SUGGESTED BET: IMA CALVERT ROSE (2) to win

RACE THREE

OFFICE BAD BOY (6)
rolled forward from gate 3 to sit parked and rolling the sleeves was able to graft out a strong win 3 starts back. Fading at his next start, he was trying to make closing ground last time but could not eat into the deficit. There looks to be some good tempo early which can suit his closing chances.

ARMA VEYRON (3) was trying to take them all the way at Redcliffe last start but after copping some heat in the early stages, was unable to see it out. Charging home along the poles to arrive for the prize here 2 starts back, she can fire some early bullets to secure position.

ILLBEWATCHING (5) added another minor to the tally last start when taking the trail and finishing 3rd over the Redcliffe 1780m. Runner-up from deep in the pack the start prior, he is a place hope again.

SIR SEMPER FIDELIS (2) is a big winner from this gate after facing a string of wide alleys. Circling them from the 2nd line early last start and still fighting it out, he cannot be overlooked.

SELECTIONS: OFFICE BAD BOY (6), ARMA VEYRON (3), ILLBEWATCHING (5), SIR SEMPER FIDELIS (2)
SUGGESTED BET: OFFICE BAD BOY (6) to win

RACE FOUR

LE TISSIER (6)
was looking to remain undefeated in Qld last time out when forced to work hard from gate 4 over the mile. Grinding it out, he faded to be 7m in arrears of the in-form winner SPEAK WITH SAM. Overcoming the 2nd line to score over the 2138m 2 starts back, the gate stings but he can arrive.

PEPPA BLISS (7) put together a hat-trick of wins before finishing 2nd here 2 starts back when sent to the post deep into the red. Easing from gate 5 to secure position, she had to settle for the silver over the 2138m. Making a costly error last start, she can make a challenge.

FAIRIESDELIGHT (1) capitalised on the gate to fire out from the three-hole at Redcliffe last start and walking them early had over 8m to spare on the line. The 2138m is the query but the ace gate is a big plus.

COBBITY CASTLE (5) started from the 2nd line at Redcliffe last start when wide off the track over the closing stages but still fighting for the bronze. Super consistent, she can feature again.

SELECTIONS: LE TISSIER (6), PEPPA BLISS (7), FAIRIESDELIGHT (1), COBBITY CASTLE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: LE TISSIER (6) to win

RACE FIVE

SUPERBON (7) will take benefit from his latest outing where he was resuming from a spell. Doing his share of work in the run, he was still fighting to the wire when 3rd behind CASH QUEEN. The gate is a stinger but with an even slice of luck, he finds a winnable contest.

WHATABOYJACK (3) is still looking to break the maiden tag but is getting closer for his first success. Holding the pocket trail from gate 1 last start, he was trying to make the closing blow a winner when grabbing the silver. Closing out in nice order at Redcliffe 3 starts back, he can throw it down here.

AUNTY EMILY (1) has been runner-up at her past 2 starts as she moves closer to a breakthrough win. Gunned down when trying to take them all the way last start, she has the gate to be in the mix.

DOOLITTLE DEXTER (4) is another looking for his first race victory. Starting from the 2nd line last start at Redcliffe, he was strong to the line when 1m in arrears of the winner.

SELECTIONS: SUPERBON (7), WHATABOYJACK (3), AUNTY EMILY (1), OOLITTLE DEXTER (4)
SUGGESTED BET: SUPERBON (7) to win

RACE SIX

BARIKA (4)
fell victim to the changed race distance here on Friday when the mile was pushed out to 2138m. Leading them up, she could not see it out when nabbed in the closing strides to be a head shy of victory. Placed in all 4 starts since leading throughout here 5 back, she can atone.

NIFTY JOLT (2) took the trail from gate 1 at Redcliffe last time out and was best of the chasers as TEDDY DISCO romped home to an easy win over the 2040m. A gritty 3rd here 3 runs back when sitting parked, he can be close enough to the action to make a play.

CASH QUEEN (9) had been building towards something after some smart returns and franked that assessment when powering home over the top at Redcliffe last start. The gate sting but she is a podium player.

SHEZ GOT BLING (1) secured the ideal run behind the leader from inside the 2nd line last time out and when shown open road had the wheels to cruise by to an 8m victory. She will be stalking again.

SELECTIONS: BARIKA (4), NIFTY JOLT (2), CASH QUEEN (9), SHEZ GOT BLING (1),
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-4-9

RACE SEVEN

BITCOIN (4)
eased from gate 5 last start and settling at the rear was trying to eat into the deficit over the closing stages when wide off the track. The slick last panel on the Redcliffe told the tale as he could not reel them in. Only 2m from the airborne KIWIS ARE FLYING the start prior, he gets his chance.

KEAYANG MARVEN (5) was shooting for a hat-trick of victories here 3 runs back when asked to grind it out from the breeze over the 2138m. Unable to see it out when 8m from the winner, he chased strongly at his next outing when 4m from EL AGUILA. He can throw it down to them here.

THE DEMOCRAT (8) was hoping to be leaders back here on Saturday night but was relegated to 3 pegs after a mid-race move put the leader in the trail. Making a late play for the bronze, he has hit the board in 3 of his past 4 and will be offering again here.

SOME EXCUSESOMEWHERE (7) has no favours from the outside gate but has been returning some handy efforts that include placings in 4 of his past 5. Only 2m from FOND MEMORIES last start, he can be joining in.

SELECTIONS: BITCOIN (4), KEAYANG MARVEN (5), THE DEMOCRAT (8), SOME EXCUSESOMEWHERE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: BITCOIN (4) to win

RACE EIGHT

KOTARE ELITE (4)
was out into attack mode from gate 5 at Redcliffe last time out and gave the leader the stink eye in the run and was game to the line to be 7m from the winner. She found GOING FOR GOLD too slippery the start prior which followed a 2nd to COBBITY CASTLE. Firing early bullets can see her capitalise.

AYE AYE CAPTAIN (10) was a Redcliffe winner 4 starts back when taking advantage of a good alley to get forward and take them all the way. Chasing home behind the gun 2YO TEDDY DISCO to grab 3rd last time, the gate stings but he can be making late metres here to challenge.

MAGGIE (8) will be requiring a slice of luck at some stage from this alley as she searches for the gaps. Finishing off in nice order for the silver to GOING FOR GOLD 2 starts back, she will be probing.

FAVREAU (1) was angled to the pegs from the 2nd line last start at Redcliffe and was trying to make a late play as COPPICE took the snipers shot up the lane. With the options he can feature.

SELECTIONS: KOTARE ELITE (4), AYE AYE CAPTAIN (10), MAGGIE (8), FAVREAU (1)
SUGGESTED BET: KOTARE ELITE (4) to win
