RACE TWO

OUR EDUARDO DENARIO (4) has relished a return to Qld and since joining the Chloe Butler barn is now 2 from 2. Wide off the track and powering away for a big 27m victory when first up, the effort was franked with a 26m victory after leading from gate 4. He looks mighty hard to stop.

LIVING FREE (1) finished best to claim a Redcliffe victory 5 starts back when starting from the 2nd line and saved for one closing shot. 3rd to the flying COBBITY CASTLE 3 starts back, he was trying to make a closing raid last start from gate 9. He can challenge with the early options from this alley.

ITSMEGS (6) was runner-up at Redcliffe 2 starts back when looking to make a closing raid and finishing 2m in arrears of the winner WAVEDANCER. She will be probing for openings.

DUKE (3) has hit the board in 2 of his past 3 starts, the latest when chasing from the running line behind STUDLEIGH WILL. Settling handy can see him in the mix again here.

SELECTIONS: OUR EDUARDO DENARIO (4), LIVING FREE (1), ITSMEGS (6), DUKE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 4 / 1-3-6

RACE THREE

Peter Greig is panels in front of his opposition as the leading trainer here at Marburg over the past 12 months and ELLE JAY (2) has been a part of the team chalking up the wins here. With 5 wins and 2 minors in her 9 outings on this track, she lands an improved gate and finds conditions to cash-in.

LITTLE ARROWS (7) was hustled out of the machine here 3 starts back from gate 4 and soon received cover. With arrows in the quiver turning for home, she finished best to hit the target for a 1m victory. Not much has gone her way in 2 runs since that win and she can look to make a play here.

SOMEWHEREINHEAVEN (1) started from outside the 2nd line at Redcliffe last start and was angled to the pegs looking for short-cuts. Pegged away again here, she can be probing for the openings.

BEEF CITY STARZZZ (5) has no favours from wide out on the right wing here but may just find this level of opposition a shade easier than his recent outings. Only a lip from the prize here 3 back, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: ELLE JAY (2), LITTLE ARROWS (7), SOMEWHEREINHEAVEN (1), BEEF CITY STARZZZ (5)
SUGGESTED BET: ELLE JAY (2) to win

RACE FOUR

SCHEU CREEK (8)
has a great record on this track and was a tidy winner from gate 5 when last starting here 5 starts back. Ending his chances with a gate break last start, he will need to overcome the tough alley here but with some early heat, he will get the chance to power over the top.

ALLSTAR SEA (3) is 2 from 3 here at the track and has been freshened since his last appearance when down the line over the AP mile. Using petrol in the early stages to keep the front, he could not see it out. Only a head away here 3 starts back, he can hustle out of the machine to challenge.

COURAGEOUS WAYS (1) tried to take them all the way last start at Redcliffe but could not see it out as she faded down the track behind MU ULTIMATE HESTON. With the good alley, she is in the mix.

ARMA AUGUSTUS (6) was chasing behind RISKY BUZINESS and from this gate looks set to get the cosy trip in behind the action. That will leave him searching for stretch drive openings.

SELECTIONS: SCHEU CREEK (8), ALLSTAR SEA (3), COURAGEOUS WAYS (1), ARMA AUGUSTUS (6)
SUGGESTED BET: SCHEU CREEK (8) to win

RACE FIVE

MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA (4) found the 1x1 trail here 4 starts back and with the nice run-in transit, powered away in the stretch to claim a healthy 9m victory. Just 3m away at his next appearance over the AP mile, he faces a nice class drop to tackle this battle and the class can tell the tale.

ROLLONX (1) has been kept fresh since his last outing back on August 16 when down the line behind ROYAL PRINCESS. Trialling twice since that outing, the latest hit out was a tidy effort and with good early speed, will be in the right position to throw down a challenge.

NIGHT NINJA (6) should enjoy an economical trip from this alley and will be searching for the gaps to make an offering. A six-time winner here at Marburg, he is in the mix.

CIRCLE LINE (3) found the ideal conditions here 2 start back when securing a nice run in behind the speed before finishing best to score. Midfield last start, he can be close enough to chime in here.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA (4), ROLLONX (1), NIGHT NINJA (6), CIRCLE LINE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA (4) to win

RACE SIX

ROWDYS ACE (2)
will need to show some slippery hooves early, but if he can show the hustle to find the pegs, he can prove hard to gun down. Eased from gate 5 to secure position last start over the AP mile, he hit the line in nice order as JOEY LINCOLN arrived via the passing lane. From the gate he can prove hard to beat.

CLARENDEN DAZZLER (3) will be taking an early shot and was a winner here 4 runs back when taking control early from gate 1 and then keeping them chasing throughout with a tidy closing 800m split. A beaten fav last start, his stocks will rise if he can take up the lamp lighting role.

FORGIVE ME (4) started in red figures here 4 starts back when sent forward and then pulling clear for victory by 8m. A gritty winner 2 starts back over the Redcliffe 1780m, she can make a play here.

DONNY JONES (8) will be requiring a few factors in his favour from this alley. Kept fresh since his last start 6m margin behind MISS VICTORIA, he can be chiming in to feature.

SELECTIONS: ROWDYS ACE (2), CLARENDEN DAZZLER (3), FORGIVE ME (4), DONNY JONES (8)
SUGGESTED BET: ROWDYS ACE (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

ONETWO THREECHEESE (1)
has had 2 starts since arriving in Qld to join the Graham Dwyer barn. From inside the 2nd line last start he was sent to the post as fav when trying to make a late raid to be 3m from the winner. Grabbing the bronze first up, he has all the favours from the ace gate.

BONNIES CAM (8) secured the ideal trip in behind the leader last start and was trying to launch a closing raid when finishing just a half-head in arrears. Asked to do it the tough way the start prior, he comes to Marburg with a strong record on the track and can look to add to it here.

IMA BIRUBI BOY (6) has one win and one placing on this track from just three attempts and should enjoy a cosy trip behind the speed here. Trying to take them all the way last start when falling sort, he has claims from this alley.

ROCK SUPREME (2) was wide off the track 2 starts back when trying to make a play and then last start was in for the graft when just 3m from the winner after sitting parked. From the gate he is in the mix again.

SELECTIONS: ONETWO THREECHEESE (1), BONNIES CAM (8), IMA BIRUBI BOY (6), ROCK SUPREME (2)
SUGGESTED BET: ONETWO THREECHEESE (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

HOT EMBERS (2)
started from gate 9 at Redcliffe last start when wide off the track but unable to eat into the deficit behind GELDOF. Unable to get across them 2 starts back, he can stoke the fire early to get the steam up and if able to take control can look to bounce back to winning form.

TINGE OF FEAR (4) pressed on to find the front last start over the sprint trip at The Triangle and from the front was keeping an even tempo when grabbed in the closing stages by GELDOF. Fitter again after 2 runs back from a break, he can look to make a challenge.

PHILADELPHIA FREEDOM (8) was runner-up here 3 starts back at his first outing in Qld when settling in the pocket trail from inside the 2nd line. The gate makes it tricky, but he can make a play.

HANDSOME HARRY (1) has the perfect record on this track with a pair of wins and lands the gate to make his presence felt. Buried from inside the 2nd line last start, the gate is a big plus.

SELECTIONS: HOT EMBERS (2), TINGE OF FEAR (4), PHILADELPHIA FREEDOM (8), HANDSOME HARRY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: HOT EMBERS (2) to win
