RACE TWO

SPECIAL MEANING (5) makes his first appearance at this track and has no favours from the wide gate. In the market last start from the 2nd line, he was sent around them early to sit parked but could not see it out. Grabbing 3rd 2 starts back, he finds a winnable race to offer.

STUDLEIGH MARK (7) was building towards a maiden breaking win after placings in 3 of his 4 previous starts and franked that when finding the right conditions last start at Redcliffe to score a gritty victory when parked. With the right trip he will be throwing it down here.

OLD ENGLISH (8) resumes from a spell to take his first look at a Qld race after joining the Justin Pascoe stable. With two handy trials, he stays under notice here fresh.

AUNTY FRANCES (3) chimed in for the bronze over the Redcliffe sprint trip 2 starts back and then last time made a costly error. Firing some early bullets here, she can be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: SPECIAL MEANING (5), STUDLEIGH MARK (7), OLD ENGLISH (8), AUNTY FRANCES (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

MISTY CREEK (1)
is in search of a hat-trick and lands the ideal conditions to add another win to the tally. Leading throughout at his past 2 starts, the latest when holding on in tidy time over the Redcliffe 1780m trip. He can take control, set the tempo, and complete the threepeat.

JOEY LINCOLN (6) was a passing lane winner over the AP Mile 2 starts back after securing the ideal trip in behind the speed. Picking off good metres in the closing stages wide off the track last start, he will be coiled in behind the action here looking for the space to make a closing challenge.

STUDLEIGH WILL (4) was aiming up for a hat-trick of victories last start when finding the front soon after the start from the 2nd line. Unable to see it out, he may need to roll the sleeves here.

NEWMERELLA LADYKAY (2) hits the board at better than 50% for the place on this track despite not landing a win here in 10 attempts. Settling handy she can add another minor to the tally.

SELECTIONS: MISTY CREEK (1), JOEY LINCOLN (6), STUDLEIGH WILL (4), NEWMERELLA LADYKAY (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1 / 2-4-6

RACE FOUR

BEEF CITY STARZZZ (1)
was beaten by gate 5 here last time out when retreating to find a position and then could not get into the battle. Locked away from inside the 2nd line 2 runs back, he should have the required hustle to hold them out and finds suitable conditions to take them all the way.

LIVING FREE (6) fired out from gate 1 before opting for the trail last time out here over the 1850m and was chasing hard to hold on for 3rd behind OUR EDUARDO DENARIO. With the easy trip from the get-go, he will be searching for open space to make a challenge.

WHATA REACTOR (8) has been to this track on 4 occasions under race conditions and has nothing to show for it. Runner-up at Redcliffe last start behind JOHNROD, she can chime into the money in this.

DUKE (3) has hit the board in 4 of his past 5 starts, the latest when securing the trail from gate 3 and finishing 3m in arrears of the winner. He can get handy to make a play again in this.

SELECTIONS: BEEF CITY STARZZZ (1), LIVING FREE (6), WHATA REACTOR (8), DUKE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: BEEF CITY STARZZZ (1) to win

RACE FIVE

CINDAROCKINRELLA (8) has been kept fresh since her last appearance when sent to the post as favourite from outside the front line at The Triangle. Looking to make a closing play in that when 8m in arrears of the winner, she can be looking to power over the top of them here.

ELLE JAY (7) has constructed a super record here on this surface with wins in 6 of her 10 outings complemented by a pair of second-placed returns. Taking them all the way here last start from gate 2, it followed an unsuited run from gate 6 over the Redcliffe 1780m. she can throw it down.

KID CALVERT (1) will need to burrow through but should have the speed to hold them wide here. Beaten a lip here 3 starts back when looking to lead throughout, he can be gripping on.

MELTON LUCKY (4) held the pocket trail from inside the 2nd line here 2 starts back and with the cosy trip held on for the silver. He may need to work from this alley but can be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: CINDAROCKINRELLA (8), ELLE JAY (7), KID CALVERT (1), MELTON LUCKY (4)
SUGGESTED BET: CINDAROCKINRELLA (8) to win

RACE SIX

MACH TORQUE (5)
has no favours from outside the front line for this battle but should appreciate a drop in grade to what she has met in recent starts. Buried last start from inside the 2nd line in a Saturday night mares event, she can get handy and look to capitalise.

SCHEU CREEK (8) started from this alley last time out and had the closing power to sweep on by and claim an effortless 7m victory. A track specialist here at Marburg where he has 5 wins and 8 minors in 18 attempts, he can sit off the tempo and make a closing challenge once again.

ALEX TEE (3) takes his first look a track that should suit his pattern. Arriving here a last start Redcliffe winner when leading throughout, he can take control here and will look to stave off the challengers.

MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA (4) has finished in the quinella in all 4 of his starts here at Marburg, the latest 2 starts back when grafting it out when parked and finishing a head from victory. He is in the mix again.

SELECTIONS: MACH TORQUE (5), SCHEU CREEK (8), ALEX TEE (3), MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA (4)
SUGGESTED BET: MACH TORQUE (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

CUZIN LYNDAL (2)
darted through from gate 1 last start and from the front was trying to see it out over the AP mile when collared in the last stride. Buried the start prior, she has the early hustle to get across here and if able to rate the pace in front will take some catching.

PACIFIC COIN (8) found the right run to claim a Redcliffe victory 3 starts back after finding the 1x1 trail from the 2nd line. Chasing from tough gates in both runs since that win, he lands another tough alley here but if able to settle close enough can look to make a play.

ZED EXPRESS (1) found the front prior to releasing from gate 2 over the AP mile last start and then with the cosy trip landed the prize up the passing lane. This is a step up but the gate is a big help.

ARTISTIC SAINT (7) has hit the board in 5 of his past 6 starts, the latest when working home wide out to grab the bronze over the AP 2138m. Runner-up 2 starts back, he can press through early to feature.

SELECTIONS: CUZIN LYNDAL (2), PACIFIC COIN (8), ZED EXPRESS (1), ARTISTIC SAINT (7)
SUGGESTED BET: CUZIN LYNDAL (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

CARLOS BROMAC (7)
will be making his first appearance on this track and arrives with a last start 5m margin when chasing SLICK BLASTER in a qualifier. Beaten by gate 7 the start prior when GLENEAGLE WARRIOR capitalised, he faces a task from this gate but can get the right position to arrive.

LORIMER LADY (1) found the pocket trail last time out over the sprint trip and with the cosy trip found enough space to angle off the pegs and arrive for the prize. A gritty 3rd at Redcliffe 3 starts back, she has the early options and with a smart 3 from 6 at the track can make a challenge.

HAMMERTIME HARLEY (4) started from inside the 2nd line at Redcliffe 3 starts back over the 2040m trip and with the ideal run made the closing shot a winner. 6m away last start, the gate is sticky here.

TEARAWAY DIAMOND (8) chased home when near the rear last time in a qualifier as MAJOR FERNCO took the prize. Only 6m away the start prior, he can be chiming in here.

SELECTIONS: CARLOS BROMAC (7), LORIMER LADY (1), HAMMERTIME HARLEY (4), TEARAWAY DIAMOND (8)
SUGGESTED BET: CARLOS BROMAC (7) to win

RACE NINE

ROYAL OBSESSION (6)
will be relying on some luck from this gate and some factors to fall in his favour but if the scenario in mind goes his way, he can make his first Marburg outing a winning one. A winner 3 starts back at The Triangle, he will be probing for a way clear.

MEGA STAR (2) settled in the 1x1 trail last start at Redcliffe over the 2040m when making the last challenge for the silver behind WESTSTAR SAM. A smart winner over the AP 2138m 3 starts back when sent forward in the middle stages, he can be close enough to throw it down here.

BARKWAY ARNOLD (1) has been kept fresh since his last appearance when down the line behind SLICK BLASTER over the 2040m at Redcliffe. With the tight gate he can look to dictate.

MUMMYS BOY (7) resumes from a spell and was meeting much tougher opponents than he faces off against here prior to the break. Only a neck away 3 starts back, this is within reach if somewhere near his best.

SELECTIONS: ROYAL OBSESSION (6), MEGA STAR (2), BARKWAY ARNOLD (1), MUMMYS BOY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-6-7
