RACE TWO

IFOUNDTHEBEACH (2) eased from gate 5 last time out at Marburg and from back in the pack picked off some late metres to grab the bronze behind LORIMER LADY. Fading after leading at the 2040m here 2 starts back, a return to the sprint trip from this alley suits.

PHILADELPHIA FREEDOM (1) has been to the track on 4 occasions since arriving in Qld and comes up with his first front line alley. Back in the pack at Marburg last time out, he comes up with the options to make a challenge.

LA SAFRON (7) is in nice touch with a minor at his past 5 in succession, the latest when luckless in finding position before closing out in nice order for the bronze. He will be probing the gaps here.

ONE LAST ROLL (4) is on the back-up from Friday night where he looked a chance of slotting a minor. Tough over the mile 3 starts back, he can get forward here to feature.

SELECTIONS: IFOUNDTHEBEACH (2), PHILADELPHIA FREEDOM (1), LA SAFRON (7), ONE LAST ROLL (4)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-4-7

RACE THREE

ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (4)
has been without a win for some time now, but he is starting to get closer to a breakthrough. A beaten fav in 2 of his past 5 starts, he was never in the mix last time when buried away. He probably will not find a race more suitable, and he can capitalise.

MICHAELS DESIRE (1) will be 2nd up from a spell for the new stable after a sound first up effort when not too far from the winner MONTANA EXPRESS. This is his best alley for some time after a tough string of bad gates and he gets the chance to take advantage.

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (6) was a winner when pinned down against the poles here 4 starts back and finishing sharply to claim the prize. He has battled to land a marble of late and is a place hope again.

ROCK SUPREME (3) was three-wide for a long way last start at Marburg and was not too far away after the torrid trip. Settling handy to the action can see him in the mix.

SELECTIONS: ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (4), MICHAELS DESIRE (1), MY ULTIMATE HESTON (6), ROCK SUPREME (3)
SUGGESTED BET: ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (4) to win

RACE FOUR

LIFES BLACK (5)
is on the back-up from Saturday night where he looked a podium player in a qualifier. In the money his previous 5 in succession that includes a pair of wins, he was strong to the line here 2 starts back for the bronze when just 3m in arrears. He can cash-in again.

LETTERKENNY BOY (6) chased gamely in holding on for the bronze last start behind FOND MEMORIES when having his 4th run back from a spell. He gets back to The Triangle where he has a smart record and despite the tough gate can be swooping late.

SCOTCH EN ICE (3) will take more benefit from his latest outing when 2nd up from a break. 7m from the winner CHANCELESS CENTURY last start, he will be thereabouts here.

LITTLE CHANGE (7) will require a slice of luck at some stage from this alley as he looks set to be buried in the run. Chasing HERBS HERO last time, he will be probing.

SELECTIONS: LIFES BLACK (5), LETTERKENNY BOY (6), SCOTCH EN ICE (3), LITTLE CHANGE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: LIFES BLACK (5) to win

RACE FIVE

OUR EDUARDO DENARIO (4) is 3 for 3 since returning to Qld and joining the Chloe Butler stable. His past 2 wins have been when rolling in front, his first up win was when working home wide off the track. He needs to take another step here but looks ready to make the progression.

JILLIBY GIZMO (5) eased from gate 6 last start before being produced with one run to power over the top of them. That followed a tough trip when asked to grind it out when parked. Only beaten a neck here 4 starts back, he can make a challenge here.

FORTYFIVE ROCK (3) fired off the arm last start over the sprint trip and once in front took control to pull clear to a smart win. This might be a little tougher, but he will be in for the fight.

LIVING GRAND (8) has not shown a great deal of late, although his last start did have a hint of improvement. He finds the right type of race to be sharper again.

SELECTIONS: OUR EDUARDO DENARIO (4), JILLIBY GIZMO (5), FORTYFIVE ROCK (3), LIVING GRAND (8)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR EDUARDO DENARIO (4) to win

RACE SIX

MISTER DECORUM (4)
can mix his form and 3 starts back faded after doing it tough. Bouncing back with an all the way win after finding the front from gate 4, he had no luck last start when buried in the run from inside the 2nd line. He gets his chance to capitalise in this line-up.

PATCHWORK JET (2) settled in the 1x1 trail here 3 starts back when looking to make a closing play when best of the chasers behind the big winner OUR EDUARDO DENARIO. Finishing over the top of them last start to score, he wilted last start behind JILLIBY GIZMO. The gate can see him throw it down.

RISKY BUZINESS (8) is better suited when racing near the pointy end and was a winner 4 starts back when leading throughout. A passing lane 2nd here 2 back, he can be chiming in.

WEDDING NIGHT (1) broke the maiden tag 2 starts back when taking them all the way and that backed that up with the bronze when working hard. This is a big step, but she should get the cosy trip.

SELECTIONS: MISTER DECORUM (4), PATCHWORK JET (2), RISKY BUZINESS (8), WEDDING NIGHT (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

RITCHIE BEE (6)
has no favours from the wide gate here but might just have enough of an edge to overcome it. Grinding it out last start at Marburg when holding 2nd, he could not go with them over the AP mile the start prior. With a rub of the green, he can sneak home.

CARIBBEAN ROCKET (4) grabbed the bronze here 2 starts back when showing some early hustle from gate 6 to secure position. Eased from the same gate at his next start to settle locked down on the pegs before finishing midfield, he can make a play in this open contest.

THREE MACHS (3) eased from gate 6 last time out to settle rearward before picking off some late metres. Settling closer from this alley she can be chime in for a minor.

OUR BIG SLOW (9) showed the early hustle to take control last start from gate 3 but was worried out of it as JOHNROD took the prize. The gate is not ideal, but he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: RITCHIE BEE (6), CARIBBEAN ROCKET (4), THREE MACHS (3), OUR BIG SLOW (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

SEELSTERS SONG (7)
could not cope last start when sitting parked and wilted after the tough trip. Sent around from the 2nd line the start prior, she follows a good beginner here and sweating on it leading and then finding the lane with momentum, can make the closing shot a winning one.

WATTS UP LETSPLAY (4) is still chasing his first Qld victory and from the pocket trail here 2 starts back was trying to launch the closing raid when 2m shy of the prize. Buried away last start from gate 1, he finds the right type of contest to make a play here.

TURN TURN FLYER (2) lands an improved gate and can look to make the most of the opportunity. Chasing home behind PATCHWORK JET last start, he can be thereabouts.

JAMAICAN RESORT (5) tried to make a play here 2 starts back when grabbing the bronze and then last start could not get warm. The gate is not ideal, but he can be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: SEELSTERS SONG (7), WATTS UP LETSPLAY (4), TURN TURN FLYER (2), JAMAICAN RESORT (5)
SUGGESTED BET: SEELSTERS SONG (7) to win
