RACE TWO

AUNTY ROXY (6) has ventured to the track on 3 occasions, the latest when asked to do it the tough way when sitting parked and grinding it out for 3rd. Making an error when 2nd up, she has the wide gate as a result of that error and finds the right contest to get on the board.

PARTY POLOTIX (1) claimed the silver last start after settling with running line cover and then making a late play only for ALWAYSBME to descend over the top to score. Making an error here 2 starts back, the inside gate is a nice advantage to call on for this.

BETTOR ROCKNROLL (7) was not entirely comfortable last start from gate 4 and was soon settled at the rear of the pack before making some nice closing metres. With a cosy trip she can feature.

PUSHINIT UPHILL (6) is a Racing Hill gelding on debut for Wayne Graham that qualified in a trail against older horses. The first foal of his ten-win dam Hereiam, he stays under notice first up.

SELECTIONS: AUNTY ROXY (6), PARTY POLOTIX (1), BETTOR ROCKNROLL (7), PUSHINIT UPHILL (6)
SUGGESTED BET: AUNTY ROXY (6) to win

RACE THREE

CASH QUEEN (3)
started from the five-hole last time out over the AP mile when retreating early to secure position before trying to wind up over the closing stages. 6m from the winner, it had followed 3 successive placed returns from wide gates. The improved gate will be a big plus for this contest.

GIDUP CAPTAIN (5) was angled to the pegs last start from the 2nd line when holding on for the bronze behind the easy winner BETTING ORIGIN. Runner-up here 2 starts back when finding the pocket trail from this same gate, he can be looking to make a challenge in this.

DIGBY DEE (4) resumes from a spell after a 4-starts prep as a 2YO where she clashed with some handy performers on each occasion. With a tidy pipe opener at the trials, she can feature.

FLIRTS DIVA (7) has been runner-up in both career starts to date when sent out as favourite on each occasion. Taken back from gate 5 before closing out smartly last time, she can chime in again.

SELECTIONS: CASH QUEEN (3), GIDUP CAPTAIN (5), DIGBY DEE (4), FLIRTS DIVA (7)
SUGGESTED BET: CASH QUEEN (3),

RACE FOUR

TEDDY DISCO (2)
will be 2nd up this campaign after resuming with a 2nd to LEAP TO FAME in a strong 2YO battle. Showing good hustle out of the machine on that occasion, he meets the older opponents for the first time but with a perfect 3 from 3 record on this track is the one to beat.

NIFTY JOLT (1) will be making his first appearance at Redcliffe and lands the gate to get the ideal tri in behind the speed. Fading last start after sitting parked over the mile, he was just 3m away the start prior. From the ace he can get the run to make a closing play.

AYE AYE CAPTAIN (7) was an all the way winner here 3 starts back when sent to the front from gate 3 and never in danger thereafter. With the peg-line run on offer, he is a podium chance here.

NINA SIMONE (4) held the pocket trail at headquarters last week and when the passing lane presented had the closing speed to arrive. The gate is tricky, but she can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: TEDDY DISCO (2), NIFTY JOLT (1), AYE AYE CAPTAIN (7), NINA SIMONE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 2 / 1-4-7

RACE FIVE

CHUMP CHOP (5) was obliged to grind it out when parked last start over the AP mile when starting in red figures. Unable to cope over the closing stages, he was a tough winner there 3 starts back when landing a career PB. Despite the tricky gate he has the gristle to claim a winnable contest.

HURRIKANE SPECIAL (4) eased from gate 5 last start and from back in the pack could not warm up when midfield after being sent to the post as the favourite. With early speed out of the machine, she can look to fire some early bullets to get forward and make a challenge.

JUST ONE GOOD ONE (9) started from inside the 2nd line last time out when trying to make a closing play and finishing 4m in arrears of the winner. Only beaten a nose 3 starts back, he can chime in.

THE RAGNBONE MAN (8) has returned some his better efforts when out in front but will need to chase out of the pack here. Grabbed in the last strides here last start, he is a podium chance.

SELECTIONS: CHUMP CHOP (5), HURRIKANE SPECIAL (4), JUST ONE GOOD ONE (9), THE RAGNBONE MAN (8)
SUGGESTED BET: CHUMP CHOP (5) to win

RACE SIX

ARMA VEYRON (1)
has been in nice touch since arriving with Narissa McMullen, finishing in the money at 8 of her 9 outings that includes 4 victories. Backing up from a win on Friday when looking in a world of pain when buried at the 300m but charged home to arrive. With all the options, she can go again.

COULDNTMISAFALCON (9) is going better than her numbers suggest and luck has not really been on her side of late. Stuck in traffic and making an error last start, she was trying to wind up the start prior when midfield. Huge in defeat the start prior, if close enough in transit, she can throw it down.

COPPICE (7) looks set to enjoy the perfect trip from this gate and if the tempo is right can make a play up the passing lane. Starting from wide gates in recent outings, he will be probing for the gaps.

KOTARE ELITE (5) started from the three-hole last time but after settling in the 1x1 trail could not go on with it. Runner-up 2 starts back, she strikes the right contest to feature.

SELECTIONS: ARMA VEYRON (1), COULDNTMISAFALCON (9), COPPICE (7), KOTARE ELITE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: ARMA VEYRON (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

WHATTA GOOD REASON (2)
took control over the 2040m last time out and from the front was never in danger when claiming a 5m victory. A beaten fav the start prior over the AP mile after not having the speed to keep them out, he finds the race to take control early and look to dictate.

COBBITY CASTLE (9) was beaten by gate 7 last time out over the AP mile and ended a super stretch that had seen her in the money in every start here in Qld, a stretch that had extended 16 starts. With 6 wins in her 10 appearances here at The Triangle, she can be making a challenge once again here.

JAY TEE TYRON (5) has been winless for some time, yet his recent returns suggest his next victory is not too far away when conditions suit. Only 4m in arrears 2 starts back, this will be his first outing at the Peninsula.

TORQUE ONETWOTHREE (7) is 2 form 3 here at Redcliffe and has worked her way back into some form including a last start 2nd when sent out as the fav behind IN CHEVRON WE TRUST. She will be probing for the gaps.

SELECTIONS:
WHATTA GOOD REASON (2), COBBITY CASTLE (9), JAY TEE TYRON (5), TORQUE ONETWOTHREE (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

AJAY BREEZY ROSE (4)
is 3 from 4 here at Redcliffe and might just appreciate this grade of contest over her recent outings. Bumping into KIWIS ARE FLYING and KASHED UP at her past 2 attempts, her run behind KEAYANG MARVEN 3 starts back was a tidy effort and she make a play in an open battle.

COURAGEOUS SAINT (6) has no favours from the carpark alley but if the tempo is in his favour, he is up to the task. Runner-up to KEY LARGO last start, he was only grabbed in the latter stages 3 runs back when holding on for the bronze. Just needs a rub of the green to make a challenge.

CAUTIVAR (9) returns from a spell and has been to the trials twice in readiness for the return. Grabbing 3rd 2 starts back behind FOND MEMORIES, he can be chiming in late here fresh.

WE SALUTE YOU (7) will be requiring a slice of luck at some point from this gate as he looks set to be buried in the run. Only 3.5m from KANENA PROVLIMA on Saturday, he will be probing.

SELECTIONS: AJAY BREEZY ROSE (4), COURAGEOUS SAINT (6), CAUTIVAR (9), WE SALUTE YOU (7)
SUGGESTED BET: AJAY BREEZY ROSE (4) each-way

RACE NINE

EL AGUILA (7)
settled rearward from gate 10 over the mile 3 starts back and was making big in-roads when the best of the chasers behind the speed runner UNCLE SHANK. Franking that effort with an all the way win from gate 2 over the 2138m, this will be his first look at Redcliffe but lands the gate to take the snipers shot.

BLUE MOON RISING (9) loves being covered and making one closing challenge. Swooping over the top to claim a Sat night victory 4 starts back, he was not suited at his latest outing over the 2138m as SCARLET BABE charged home to score. If he can land 3-pegs, he will throw down a challenge in this.

BITCOIN (5) faces a tricky gate here, but his form has been super of late. A qualifying winner 2 starts back, he followed it up with a charging 2nd when just 2m from KIWIS ARE FLYING and is in the mix.

THERESACHANCE (1) loves to run the gate and lands the marble to take control of proceedings here. A winner when leading throughout over the AP mile 5 starts back, he was collared late here last start.

SELECTIONS: EL AGUILA (7), BLUE MOON RISING (9), BITCOIN (5), THERESACHANCE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: BLUE MOON RISING (9) to place
