The annual Tara RC Cup non-TAB race meeting scheduled for Saturday, October 2 has been POSTPONED to Sunday, October 3.
The race meeting features qualifiers for both the Country Cups Challenge and Country Stampede.
Approximately 25mm rainfall has been recorded at the Tara racetrack over the past few days, with the track not drying sufficiently to be suitable for racing on Saturday. Mostly fine weather conditions are forecast for Saturday and Sunday.
There are new race times for the Sunday race meeting and they are:
- Race 1 - 11.30am
- Race 2 - 12.05pm
- Race 3 - 12.40pm
- Race 4 - 1.15pm
- Race 5 - 1.50pm
- Race 6 - 2.35pm
All scratchings lodged for the Saturday race meeting will be reinstated, with final scratchings now due at 7.45am on Sunday, October 3.
A phantom “betting” meeting will be conducted at the racecourse on Saturday with all facilities available.
