RACE TWO

FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (2) had the early hustle to find the poles before releasing last start in a stronger contest than he meets here when midfield to BOMBADIER JUJON. He has not fired a shot this campaign but back to The Triangle from the good alley lands his chance to turn it around.

BLUE MOON RISING (3) eased to secure position last time and was making some ground when finishing with the silver behind the in-form BELLA BALL TERROR. Claiming a qualifier with a powerful finishing burst 4 starts back, he can be making the last play to challenge.

NOTORIOUS (8) does not venture up the Houghton Highway that often but in his 5 attempts has won 2 of those, including the last time he stepped out here 4 runs back. Following through suits.

LIFES BLACK (5) made the most of gate 1 last start when sent to the front and then allowed to dictate through a slippery closing panel to fight them off. The wide gate stings.

SELECTIONS: FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (2), BLUE MOON RISING (3), NOTORIOUS (8), LIFES BLACK (5)
SUGGESTED BET: FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (2) to win

RACE THREE

PHILADELPHIA FREEDOM (7)
made his first appearance in Qld when stepping out at Marburg from inside the 2nd line when never getting the space to make a play. Beaten by gate 7 over the AP 2138m last start, a return to the smaller track and with the likely easy trip can see him take the snipers shot.

GELDOF (1) held position early before securing the 1x1 trail from gate 3 here on Thursday and was then best of the chasers behind the first over winner SLICK BLASTER. With good speed out of the machine, he finds the race to dictate and can look to bounce back to winning form.

QUICK STEP (5) has a super record here at The Triangle where she has 4 wins in 7 attempts. Sectionally super at her past 2 from deep in the pack at headquarters, she can feature.

OUR STELLA ROSE (8) can look to get to the poles here which looks the place to be in this battle. Chasing behind OAXACAN DREAM in a mare’s qualifier last start, she can chime in.

SELECTIONS: PHILADELPHIA FREEDOM (7), GELDOF (1), QUICK STEP (5), OUR STELLA ROSE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-5-7-8

RACE FOUR

MY CHINA DOLL (1)
held the pocket trail from this gate last start when trying to make ground in the run to the wire behind THEMIDNIGHTRAMBLER. Gunned down here 2 starts back, she will strip fitter from the latest outing when returning from 7 weeks off the scene and has the options to capitalise.

MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA (4) was a gritty 2nd when sitting parked at Marburg and franked the strength of that with a win at the same track from a wide gate. Closing out strongly over the closing stages last start when 3rd to OFFICE BAD BOY, he finds a race to make a challenge.

ROYAL PRINCESS (3) was down the line last start at Marburg behind a dictating leader which followed a neck margin over the AP mile. Settling handy can see her in the mix here.

MAJOR MISCHIEF (2) is yet to land victory since arriving in Qld and did not get the smoothest passage last start over the AP 2138m. Runner-up here 2 starts back, he has the gate to feature.

SELECTIONS: MY CHINA DOLL (1), MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA (4), ROYAL PRINCESS (3), MAJOR MISCHIEF (2)
SUGGESTED BET: MY CHINA DOLL (1) to win

RACE FIVE

GLITTER STRIP (1) has now had 3 runs back from a spell where he has met much stronger opposition from tougher barriers. Buried in the run from inside the 2nd line last start, he was strong to the line when 7m from the winner. With the improved gate and a smart record on the track, he can cash-in.

MISS MIA (7) powered over the top of them at Marburg 2 starts back in claiming a smart win. Chasing from the get-go last start from gate 5, she looks set to get the perfect trip in behind the action here to take the snipers shot.

NIKALONG HENRY (5) covered plenty of the track last start from this gate when making a sustained run wide out before trailing them home. Game in defeat when midfield 2 starts back, he has claims.

CALVERT HOT SHOT (9) returns to Qld after featuring in a stable switch and arrives a last start winner at Ballarat when swooping home to score. With a nice trial to prepare, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: GLITTER STRIP (1), MISS MIA (7), NIKALONG HENRY (5), CALVERT HOT SHOT (9)
SUGGESTED BET: GLITTER STRIP (1) to win

RACE SIX

RISKY BUZINESS (2)
took the trail last time out over the AP mile when down the line behind OFFICE BAD BOY. Gate 7 and the 2138m was his undoing the start prior with a return to the sprint trip here at The Triangle from this alley looking the ideal tonic for him to dictate.

TRACER BULLET (3) started from gate 11 last start over the AP 2138m trip and was deep in the pack when trying to launch a closing raid. Releasing here 2 starts back, he can settle close to the action and finds the right type of contest to make a challenge.

GRETELS GIRL (8) has the 2 career wins to her name with both of those victories here on this track. Making some nice ground over the closing stages last start, she can chime in here.

ROGER THAT (6) faced the 2nd line last start at Marburg and was never in the mix and never looked comfortable. The gate stings again but he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: RISKY BUZINESS (2), TRACER BULLET (3), GRETELS GIRL (8), ROGER THAT (6)
SUGGESTED BET: RISKY BUZINESS (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

CAPTAIN THUNDERBOLT (8)
settled in the 1x1 trail last start over the AP mile when trying to launch a closing raid. Holding on for 3rd behind the in-form COBBITY CASTLE, he should be able to secure a nice spot in transit here to descend upon them in the closing stages.

WAVEDANCER (2) settled in the running line from gate 9 here 2 starts back when making some late ground to grab the bronze when 4m in arrears. Buried in the run here 3 starts back behind ILLBEWATCHING, he can be close enough to the action to challenge in this line up.

COURAGEOUS WAYS (5) rolled forward early last start to find position and was required to do it the tough way in the breeze. Holding on for the bronze, the gate stings again here.

ITSMEGS (3) struck trouble last start at Marburg when starting as the punters elect and her chances expired. With better luck this time she can make a play here.

SELECTIONS: CAPTAIN THUNDERBOLT (8), WAVEDANCER (2), COURAGEOUS WAYS (5), ITSMEGS (3)
SUGGESTED BET: CAPTAIN THUNDERBOLT (8) to win

RACE EIGHT

JOHNROD (3)
found his race last start at Marburg when taking control out of the machine and then fighting them off to claim a narrow victory. From the gate he can look to be close to the action once again and with this wide open can look to go back-to-back.

OKANES DEVIL (9) fired off the arm to take control last start and was trying to fight them off when grabbed late by a flying PURPLE SHADES. Trying to lead all the way here 3 starts back, he will be chasing here but can be making a challenge in a race where winner could come from anywhere.

DARGOS PET (5) found the front here 3 starts back from gate 3 and held on for 2nd as DIGYOURHEELSIN pulled clear for a big win. The wide gate stings but he has the early speed to feature.

OUR EDUARDO DENARIO (7) returns to Qld, this time joining the Chloe Butler barn, arriving with some ordinary numbers next to his name. With a cosy trip in behind the action he stays under notice.

SELECTIONS: JOHNROD (3), OKANES DEVIL (9), DARGOS PET (5), OUR EDUARDO DENARIO (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

LITTLEDEE (8)
was angled to the pegs from the 2nd line last start and was soon buried in the run and could not warm up as TRENTLEIGH took the prize. Runner-up at Marburg 2 starts back when making a closing play to be a half-head away, she finds the right type of race here.

TRENTLEIGH (6) found the ideal conditions last start when taking control from gate 3 over the AP mile and then fighting them off to claim a new career PB. Only a half-neck from the winner here 3 starts back when leading them up from gate 5, he has the tough gate but can throw it down.

ELLE JAY (9) has returned a few runs below her best in recent starts but is worthy of a bounce back effort here. Not much went right last start for her and she can be sharper.

TORQUE TO THE MAX (5) will take some benefit from her latest outing where she was resuming from a spell. Eased to find position from gate 5 before making some closing metres, she can fill a minor.

SELECTIONS: LITTLEDEE (8), TRENTLEIGH (6), ELLE JAY (9), TORQUE TO THE MAX (5)
SUGGESTED BET: LITTLEDEE (8) to win
