Race 1 – UBET TAPPY MA5 – 395M

 

Prior to Race 1, Stewards’ inspected the track and found it safe to race.

Race 1 was put back one race, and will now commence at 7.02pm, due to inclement weather.

 

Even start.  Entering the turn into the back straight, CORY’S DIAMOND and LOGAN CITY collide, causing CORY’S DIAMOND to race wide in the back straight.  Entering the turn into the home straight, GRAND ANGEL and LOGAN CITY collide, with CORY’S DIAMOND wide.

 

The greyhound CORY’S DIAMOND underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near hind leg and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 2 – MARBURG HOTEL MIXED 2/3RD GRADE – 520M

 

Best away was RICHMOND ROAD, with the rest evenly away.  Soon after the start, RULE THE ROAD and QUITE SINCERE collide.  Entering the turn out of the home straight, RICHMOND ROAD and ALL ABOUT TIGER collide, causing ALL ABOUT TIGER to shift out checking AZARIAH, causing ALL ABOUT TIGER to race wide on the turn.  In the back straight, QUITE SINCERE was wide. 

 

The greyhound ALL ABOUT TIGER underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The weather has been amended to “Rainy”.

 

Race 3 – GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN – 520M

 

Best away was CRUEL SEA, with MY WINDSONG slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight, SONIC BOOM and JEDI DE KAHN collide, causing JEDI DE KAHN to check MY WINDSONG, causing that greyhound to race wide on the turn.  Entering the back straight, KENDALL checked off the heels of ZIEGFELD.  In the back straight and home straight, MY WINDSONG was wide.

 

Race 4 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE – 520M

 

Best away was OBLIVINATOR and LAST DRINK, with the rest evenly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight, EYE LIKE CAKE and ROAD SIDE ASSIST collide.  In the back straight, GALWAY LUDWIG was wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, LAST DRINK and BEE SOLO collide.  Entering the home straight, ROMAN SILVER and LAST DRINK collide.  In the home straight, ROMAN SILVER was wide. 

 

The greyhound EYE LIKE CAKE underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near hind leg and was stood down for a period of 14 days.

 

 

Race 5 – TWITTER @ BRISGREYS 5PW – 520M

 

Best away was SHINE ANNA, with GALWAY CHEETA slowly away.  Approaching the winning post on the 1st occasion, SHINE ANNA and ALLEN KELVIN collide.  Entering the turn out of the home straight, ROAR BACK checked off the heels of HARA’S REBEL.  On the top turn, ROAR BACK checked off the heels of SHAKEY TIMES.  Entering the home straight, SHINE ANNA and ROAR BACK collided, causing SHINE ANNA to race wide in the home straight.  

 

The greyhound SHINE ANNA underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near side pin and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

 

Race 6 – EXPAT LODGE BOARDING KENNELS 0-4 WINS – 600M

 

Best away was WAZZA QUEEN and NURBURG, with EYE HATE CAKE slowly away.  In the home straight on the 1st occasion, EYE HATE CAKE was wide.  Entering the turn out of the home straight, VANDERWEGHE and NURBURG collide.  In the back straight and home straight, EYE HATE CAKE collide. 

 

Race 7 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MIXED 4/5TH GRADE – 520M

 

Best away was PETA GLEDHILL and IZY GOLD, with the rest evenly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight, IZY GOLD and ALPHA ULYSSES collide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, IZY GOLD checked off the heels of TOO GOOD JOOG.  In the home straight, TORNADO ALLEY was wide. 

 

Race 8 – GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM 5TH GRADE FINAL – 520M

 

Best away was MONEY FOR JAM and YOREMMUP, with INDIVIDUAL RICHY slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight, YOREMMUP checked off the heels of ARCH RIVAL, causing YOREMMUP to drop back checking MONEY FOR JAM.  Entering the back straight, YOREMMUP checked off the heels of INDIVIDUAL RICHY.  On the turn out of the back straight, YOREMMUP checked off the heels of EBONY MIST.  Entering the home straight, EBONY MIST and MONEY FOR JAM collide. 

 

The greyhound EBONY MIST underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 9 – FABERGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE MIXED 3/4TH GRADE – 395M

 

Race 9 was put back and will now commence at 9.55pm, due to inclement weather

 

Even start.  Entering the back straight, NEVER A DOUBT, BUDDY TOKAAM and DAY TIME FRIEND all collide.  Turn into the back straight, PLUM JAM was wide.  In the home straight, EBONY SANDS was wide.

 

Race 10 – THE MANLY HOTEL 5TH GRADE – 395M

 

Race 10 was put back and will now commence at 10.15pm, due to inclement weather

 

Best away was FARMOR HEAT and POWER SERVICE, with FARMOR EFFECTED very slowly away.  Entering the turn out of  back straight, ASH TIDE, MOSCOW MULE and FARCELONA FENIX all collide. In the back straight, FARCELONA FENIX was wide.  On the top turn, FARMOR EFFECTED was wide.  Entering the home straight, FARMOR EFFECTED and BIG HUEY collide.
