Race 1 – ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND MIXED 4/5TH GRADE – 331M

 

Best away was EBONY SANDS, with the rest evenly away.  In the back straight, TOEY GAMBLER was wide, in the home straight, ROYAL PLAY and TOEY GAMBLER were wide.

 

Race 2 – MARBURG HOTEL MAIDEN HEAT 1 – 395M

 

Even start, with TEJAY’S PRIDE and CROCODILE TEARS slowly away.  In the back straight, DANILO was wide.  Entering the home straight, TEJAY’S PRIDE checked off the heels of TOOK A TICKET, with WHO WHAT WHERE racing wide and turning its head outwards.

 

The greyhound WHO WHAT WHERE underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Connection to the greyhound, WHO WHAT WHERE, was advised that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69(a) Failing to Pursue 1st offence, and would be stood down for a period of 28 days, and will be required to perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial, over the distance of 395m, prior to racing.

 

Race 3 – EXPAT LODGE BOARDING KENNELS MAIDEN HEAT 2 – 395M

 

Best away was CROCODILE SMILE and SENOR DYLAN, with BONNIE EILEEN slowly away.  Entering the back straight, SUMMER’S PICK and KOORINGA ZOE collide, causing SUMMER’S PICK to fall, checking BIG BANG TEXADA, causing that greyhound to fall checking SMELL THE CHEESE.  In the back straight, KOORINGA ZOE and SUGAR BOY collide, in the home straight, BONNIE EILEEN was wide.

 

The greyhound BIG BANG TEXADA underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound SUMMER’S PICK underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near side pin and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 4 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE – 395M

 

Best away was MIND YA BUSINESS, with CHARLIE’S BARBUN slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, SMASHNIAK GALAXY checked off the heels of AIDAN’S MAGIC, causing SMASHNIAK GALAXY to shift out checking DO YOU REMEMBER.  In the home straight, DO YOU REMEMBER was wide.

 

The greyhound SMASHNIAK GALAXY underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Connection to the greyhound, SMASHNIAK GALAXY, was advised that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 71 Unsatisfactory Performance, and the greyhound will be required to perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial, over the distance of 395m, prior to racing.

 

Race 5 – GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 – 395M

 

Best away was ORWELLIAN, with BOGAN DOLL slowly away.  Entering the back straight, SENORITA DUDE checked off the heels of ORWELLLIAN, causing SENORITA DUDE to drop back sharply.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, SENORITA DUDE and FARCELONA FENIX collide, causing FARCELONA FENIX to shift out checking MISS THICKSHAKE and TOOK A SELFIE.  In the home straight, MISTER CHAOS was wide.

 

Race 6 – FABERGAS @ STUD 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 – 395M

 

Best away was SMASHNIAK DOUBLE, with the rest evenly away.  Approaching the turn into the back straight, PROPER GENT checked off the heels of KULU COOPER.  Entering the back straight, TIMELY RICKSHAW and SMASHNIAK DOUBLE collide, causing TIMELY RICKSHAW to shift out checking KULU COOPER.  In the back straight and home straight, PROPER GENT was wide.

 

Race 7 – BOX1PHOTOGRAPHY.COM 5TH GRADE – 520M

 

Best away was RATAJKOWSKI, with POTENTIAL and RED HOT GOSSIP slowly away.  On the turn out of the home straight, EBONNIE was wide.  In the back straight, RED HOT GOSSIP was wide.  In the turn out of the back straight, LION’S BLUE and EBONY MIST collide.  Entering the home straight, RED HOT GOSSIP and EBONNIE collide.

 

Race 8 – GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM BEST 8 – 395M

 

Even start, with TUBBY TURNER slowly away.  In the back straight, AZA ZEUS was wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, PREMIER TEJAY checked off the heels of REGAL BILL.  Entering the home straight, BLACK PAWS and JOHN SAID THIS collide.  In the home straight, TUBYY TURNER was wide.

 

Race 9 – THE MANLY HOTEL 4TH GRADE – 395M

 

Best away was NAUGHTY MAX, with BIG TRIGGER slowly away.  Soon after the start, SMASHNIAK WINX and BIG TRIGGER collide, causing SMASHNIAK WINX to drop back sharply.  In the home straight, LARRIKAN LASS was wide.
