Race 1 – UBET TAPPY MDNPW – 331M

 

FAIRY WREN was best to begin.  Shortly after the start, FANCY DREAM and FEAR ROBERT collided, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Leaving the back straight, MARCIE’S MEMORY and SUMMER’S PICK collided, causing SUMMER’S PICK to lose ground. 

 

The greyhound SUMMER’S PICK underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound FEAR ROBERT underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near hind foot and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 2 – MARBURG HOTEL MAIDEN FINAL – 331M

 

CROCODILE TEARS was best to begin, with SHANAE WHO slow.  Shortly after the start, ELITE JAX and ROSEAVILLA raced tight and both greyhounds lost ground.  Leaving the 1st turn, RENSHAW AVENUE got onto the hindquarters of CROCODILE TEARS, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. 

 

The greyhound CROCODILE TEARS underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound MISS PAIGE MAC underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 3 – GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE – 331M

 

YO YO LASS was best to begin and PENUMBRA came up with the lids.  Shortly after the start, SANDSHOE was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Rounding the 1st turn, SANDSHOE got onto the heels of LADY OPAL, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, PENUMBRA clipped heels with HAPPY MAIL.  In the front straight, HAPPY MAIL and WILD CONNECTION collided on the numerous occasions.

 

Race 4 – JUST ASK JORDO MA5 – 331M

 

Even start.  Rounding the 1st turn, KRYPTONITE JAKE, WESTMEAD DAFFIE and SPANISH HARBOUR all raced tight. Entering the front straight, KRYPTONITE JAKE and SPANISH HARBOUR collided, causing GO THE SPOILS and WESTMEAD DAFFIE to check.  In the front and back straight, GO THE SPOILS raced wide.

 

Race 5 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD 5TH GRADE – 395M

 

FERNVALE RUBY and MISS BECKBOO were best to begin, with MISS PAIGE MAC marginally slow.  In the 1st turn, MISS OSPREY clipped heels, shifted out and checked HAIGHT ASHBURY.  Approaching the finishing line, MISS BECKBOO and IRONBAR RICKY bump.  In the front and back straight, MISS OSPREY raced wide. 

 

 

Race 6 – TWITTER @ BRISGREYS MIXED 3/4TH GRADE – 331M

 

CALL ME UGO was best to begin, with SANDLER marginally slow.  Leaving the 1st turn, WHITE OX and CALL ME UGO bumped, at the same time, TREMALY JACK clipped heels of SANDLER.  Entering the front straight, SANDLER clipped heels.

 

The greyhound CALL ME UGO underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off hind leg and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 7 – EXPAT LODGE BOARDING KENNELS MIXED 4/5TH GRADE – 395M

 

Even start. Entering the back straight BLUE GEE TEE got onto the hind quarters of TEJAY’S MAGIC causing TEJAY’S MAGIC to loose ground. Entering the front straight MAKO MAC clipped heels.

 

The greyhound TEJAY’S MAGIC underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off hind leg and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

 

Race 8 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY BEST 8 – 331M

 

Even start, with BUDDY TOKAAM marginally slow.  Shortly after the start, GITCHA ALLEY clipped heels and lost ground.  Leaving the back straight, SO CRAZY and I’M GLAD collided, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. 

 

Race 9 – GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM BEST 8 – 395M

 

Even start.  Leaving the 1st turn, ARNHEM MAYHEM, SHORT SESSION and ALBURY WAY were all tightened for racing room.  Entering the back straight, ARNHEM MAYHEM and SHORT SESSION collided.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight, ARABELLA EMJAY was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Leaving the turn out of the back straight, ARNHEM MAYHEM clipped heels of ARABELLA EMJAY, causing ARNHEM MAYHEM to fall and give no further competitive part in the event, and ARABELLA EMAJAY to lose ground.

 

The greyhound ARNHEM MAYHEM underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 10 – FABERGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE 5TH GRADE (1) – 331M

 

Even start, HARA’S HOOK and SUNBURNT OAK marginally slow.  Shortly after the start, HARRY’S LEGEND was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Rounding the turn into the front straight, SUNBURNT OAK clipped heels, shifted out and lost ground.

 

Race 11 – SKY RACING 5TH GRADE (2) – 331M

 

MERLIN’S MAID was best to begin.  Shortly after the start, DOREAS was tightened for racing room.  Rounding the turn into the front straight, KING DIESEL clipped off the heels of DESTINI COMET, resulting in WATCH ME WIGGLE to be checked, and KING DIESEL to lose ground.

 

The greyhound KING DIESEL underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

 

Race 12- ZILLMERE SPORTS 5TH GRADE (3) – 331m

 

IRON MAID and BLACK SCORPION were best to begin, with ROUGH ODDS marginally slow.  In the back straight, WAY TO WITCHES and ROUGH ODDS collided, at the same time BLACKPEARL GIRL and SPRING IVY bumped. Rounding the turn into the front straight, WAY TO WITCHES clipped heels.  In the front straight, IRON MAID and BLACKPEARL GIRL bumped.

 

The greyhound SPRING IVY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off wrist and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
