Race 1 – ASSET
BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND NOVICE (1) - 520M
INFRARED LAD was slow to begin. CHELSEA and DOUBLE
TAKE bumped at the start, as did RISING BEYOND and CAPTAIN BLUE. Approaching
the first turn, CAPTAIN BLUE was tightened for room and checked. CHELSEA
checked in across heels. Through the turn into the back straight, TAHBILK
shifted out tightening the running of CAPTAIN BLUE which was checked. TAHBILK
then collided with INFRARED LAD. Out of the back straight into the turn,
CAPTAIN BLUE was tightened for room and checked. Over the concluding stages of
the event, DOUBLE TAKE was tightened for room and checked in across heels.
Race 2 – GARRARD'S
HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE (2) - 520m
SONIC BOOM was slow to begin. GENIE’S GIRL was
best to begin. Shortly after the start SHAKEY DIESEL and ONE FOR MICK collided.
Approaching the first turn, ONE FOR MICK and ELUSIVE BALLARD collided. On
entering the first turn, PREMIER RUMBLE contacted the heels of GENIE’S GIRL and
shifted out. Out of the turn into the back straight, SONIC BOOM contacted the
heels of SHAKEY DIESEL. Shortly after, ONE FOR MICK contacted the heels of GENIE’S
GIRL which was checked. Out of the back straight into the turn, SONIC BOOM
contacted the heels of SHAKEY DIESEL, both runners were checked. Through the
turn into the front straight, SHAKEY DIESEL and SONIC BOOM collided and were
checked.
Race 3 – UBET
TAPPY MA5 (1) - 520m
ALLEN KELVIN began awkwardly and lost ground.
BIG PRINCE was slow to begin. Through the turn into the back straight, RANGER
DANGER and SWIFT NIMROD were tightened for room and checked.

GRADE 5 (1) - 520m
SLEEK STYLE and ELUSIVE ARROW were best to
begin. Shortly after the start EARS UP was tightened from room and checked in
across heels. On entering the first turn ELUSIVE ARROW was tightened for room
and checked. FELICI BEACH and TOO GOOD JOOG which were trailing, were both
checked. Through the turn into the back straight, EARS UP was tightened for
room and checked out across heels. Out of the back straight into the turn, TOO
GOOD JOOG was tightened for room and hampered.
Race 5 – THIRTY
TALKS @ STUD MIXED 4/5 - 520m
SHOES TO FILL and MONEY FOR JAM were best to
begin. MISTER BELUCHI was slow to begin. Shortly after the start, MR. BELVEDERE
was tightened for room and hampered. On entering the first turn, MR. BELVEDERE
was tightened for room, checked, and collided with VISIGOTH. Through the turn
into the front straight, ILLAWONG COWGIRL was tightened for room and checked.
Shortly after SUPER CESC and SMART MARLOW collided and were checked.
Race 6 – BOX
1 PHOTOGRAPHY GRADE 5 - 600m
SILVER STUNNER was slow to begin. BARBARELLA
and DRAGON SPIN were best to begin. Shortly after the start, MAHONEY shifted
out and collided with RUN WITH FAITH and SILVER STUNNER, all runners were
checked. Through the turn into the back straight, SILVER STUNNER was tightened
for room and check out across heels. Through the turn into the front straight,
on the second occasion, BARBARELLA and SILVER STUNNER bumped. RUN WITH FAITH
and INDIAN GIVER bumped.
Race 7 – GREYHOUND
ADOPTION PROGRAM GRADE 5 (2) - 520m
POLLY’S GIFT and DAM SLIPPERY were best to
begin. Shortly after the start, GALWAY JOHANN and BROKEN LOOSE collided. RED
HOT SPUR shifted in and collided with GALWAY JOHANN. Through the turn into the
back straight, RED HOT SPUR improved onto heels and was hampered. Shortly
after, SMALL JEWEL was tightened for room and hampered. Out of the back
straight into the turn, GALWAY JOHANN shifted in abruptly, tightening the
running of BROKEN LOOSE. Shortly after, PETA GLEDHILL collided with RED HOT
SPUR and was checked. BROKEN LOOSE, which was trailing, was checked. Over the
concluding stages of the event, FARMOR IMAGE and POLLY’S GIFT bumped.
Race 8 – EXPAT
LODGE BOARDING KENNELS GRADE 5 (3) - 520m
Shortly after the start, all runners collided
and were checked to varying degrees, with the exception of FERNANDO BLASTER and
COOPES. Out of the back straight into the turn, DAZE LIKE THESE raced in
restricted room and was hampered. FARINGDON improved onto heels and was
hampered. Over the concluding stages of the event, CAN’T POSSIBLY was tightened
for room and checked.
Race 9 – FABREGAS
@ METICULOUS LODGE MA5 (2) - 520m
Shortly after the start, MANDELA CLOUD was tightened
for room and checked. Approaching the first turn, LOGAN CITY was tightened for
room and checked. BRIGHT SATELLITE and OUTBACK SUNSHINE collided and shifted
out. Through the turn into the back straight, STEAL A KISS was tightened for
room and checked. Out of the back straight into the turn, AZARIAH and FIRST
FIRE bumped. STEAL A KISS and OUTBACK SUNSHINE bumped. Out of the turn into the
front straight, BRIGHT SATELLITE and MANDELA CLOUD collided and shifted
outwards.
Race 10 –
MARBURG HOTEL MA5 (3) - 520m
THAT HOUDINI was slow to begin. Shortly after
the start, TURN AND BURN was tightened for room and checked. Shortly after, ONE
DOLLAR and SPRING FORTE were tightened for room and hampered. TURN AND BURN was
tightened for room and checked. On entering the first turn, SPRING FORTE collided
with POWER OF PENNY and was tightened for room and checked. TURN AND BURN
shifted out wider on the track to avoid that runners’ heels. Through the turn
into the back straight, SAPPHO was tightened for room and checked. On entering
the back straight, SPRING FORTE improved onto heels and was hampered. Out of
the back straight into the turn, SAPPHO was tightened for room and checked.
Through the turn into the front straight, AUSSIE DIAMOND collided with ONE
DOLLAR, sustained an injury and took no further competitive part in the event.

ARE JAY LOCHIE was slow to begin. FARMOR AT
LAST and HOT EMBER bumped at the start. Approaching the first turn, INFRARED
LASS was tightened for room and checked. Shortly after, FARMOR AT LAST, HOT
EMBER and IZY MAGIC all collided. Through the turn into the back straight, HOT
EMBER and IZY MAGIC bumped. Out of the back straight into the turn, KULU BAZZA
and NITRO BEACH collided. HOT EMBER contacted the heels of FARMOR AT LAST, which
was checked. On entering the front straight, AVA SURPRISE checked out across
heels and raced wide. HOT EMBER and IZY MAGIC collided. HOT EMBER bumped the
running rail.
