Race Reports

 

Race 1 – UBET TAPPY | GRADE MAIDEN H | 520 M

 

WHAT ABOUT IT was best to begin. STRAIT RUM began awkwardly and as a result was slow. STRAIT RUM and FROSTY BLACK JAY race wide through the first turn. Approaching the turn out of the back straight STRAIT RUM shifted in which impeded ITEMISER causing that greyhound to lose momentum.

 

Race 2 – MARBURG HOTEL | GRADE MAIDEN H | 520 M

 

COYBIG was best to begin, DRAW YA SWORD was very slow. Approaching the first turn SCANLON checked off heels, became unbalanced and lost ground. Approaching the first turn BULLAROO FLASH was impeded and deviated its intention towards PRIZE PORTRAIT. In the 1st turn BULLAROO FLASH continued to deviate its intention towards PRIZE PORTRAIT and made muzzle contact. Leaving the turn to the back straight SCANLON was checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight DRAW YA SWORD shifted in which impeded COYBIG, which caused that greyhound to check off heels and lose considerable ground. BULLAROO FLASH and DRAW YA SWORD bumped shortly after leaving the turn into the front straight. SCANLON collided into the rear of BULLAROO FLASH just prior to the finish. 

 

Race 3 – GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND | GRADE NOV | 520 M

 

UNIQUE LEE was best to begin. SHAKEY DIESEL was slow. Approaching the 1st turn UNIQUE SPIRIT was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. At the 1st turn INFRARED LAD checked off heels and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight LAST DRINK improved onto the heels of YOU ANGEL YOU causing that greyhound to lose significant ground. UNIQUE SPIRIT which was trailing was inconvenienced and also lost ground. Leaving the turn out of the back straight INFRARED LAD and UNIQUE LEIGH checked causing both greyhounds to lose momentum. UNIQUE LEIGH, LAST DRINKS and SHAKEY DIESEL raced tight and bumped on numerous occasions over the concluding stages of the race.

 

Race 4 –THIRTY TALKS @ STUD | GRADE 4/5 | 395 M

 

BELVEDERE BABE began awkwardly and was checked, losing ground immediately after start. In the 1st turn NO CLYDE NEEDED shifted in which impeded MAGIC PASS, causing that greyhound to check off heels and lose ground. Leaving the turn into the back straight BELVEDERE BABE shifted out and collided heavily into KULU RUBY, causing both greyhounds to become unbalanced and to lose significant ground. In the back straight MISS PAIGE MAC stumbled and commenced to lose ground, taking no further competitive part in the race. BELVEDERE BABE and KULU RUBY which were trailing MISS PAIGE MAC, were severely inconvenienced and lost substantial ground. MISS BECKBOO and MAGIC PASS raised tight and checked on occasion through the turn into the front straight.

  

Race 5 – EXPAT LODGE BOARDING KENNELS | GRADE 4/5 | 600 M

 

SMART MARLOW and STROGANOFF were both best to begin. Into the 1st turn BIG HERO SIX was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Leaving the turn out of the front straight on the first occasion, BIG HERO SIX shifted in which impeded ALPHA CHAOS causing that greyhound to lose momentum. EARS UP was impeded over the concluding stages of the race.

 

Race 6 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY | 5th GRADE H | 520 M 

 

INDIVIDUAL RICHY was best to begin. GRU was marginally slow. Shortly after the start NOT TOO BOSSY was tightened for racing room, impeded and lost ground. Approaching the 1st turn NOT TOO BOSSY improved onto the rear of SUPER CESC and become severely unbalanced, then shifted out and collided into FARMOR AT LAST and also GRU, causing all those greyhounds to lose significant ground as a result. KULU CHANCE which was trailing was severely inconvenienced as a result of this contact and lost substantial ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight KENDALL was impeded. Shortly after KENDALL improved onto the heels of INDIVIDUAL RICHY causing that greyhound to lose significant ground. SUPER CESC which was trailing, was impeded and collided into the rear of INDIVIDUAL RICHY and lost ground as a result of that contact.

 

Race 7 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY |5TH GRADE H | 520 M

 

VISION OF LOVE was best to begin, CRAZY EMJAY was slow. Approaching the first turn COMMON GROUND and DAM SLIPPERY shifted in causing the majority of the field with the exception of those two greyhounds and CRAZY EMJAY to be tightened for racing room, check, and lose ground to varying degrees. Approaching the turn out of the back straight BLACKHEART BELLA was momentarily impeded.

 

Race 8 – GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM   | GRADE BT8 | 395 M

 

FARMOR ON FIRE and ARABELLA EMJAY were both best to begin. KULU DOT COM and SANDLER were both marginally slow. In the 1st turn KULU ZIPSTER was tightened for racing room, checked off heels and lost ground.  IMMA CALLIM KLAY, which was trailing, was severely inconvenienced and lost significant ground as a result. Leaving the turn out of the back straight IMMA CALLIM KLAY was impeded and shifted wide, SANDLER which was racing to its outside was forced to race wide also.

 

Race 9 – FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE| GRADE 5 | 331 M

 

KULU SPARROW was best to begin. In the back straight TIMELY RICHSHAW was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the front straight MIDNIGHT DASHER shifted out, then checked across heels and raced wide through the turn into the front straight, losing ground as it did. Leaving the turn into the front straight MAZZA checked out across heels and lost ground.

 

Race 10 – THE MANLY HOTEL | GRADE M5 | 395 M

 

SMASHNIAK BATMAN and SMASHNIAK WINX were both best to begin. Into the first turn SMASHNIAK BATMAN and SMASHNIAK WINX checked causing both greyhounds to lose momentum. Leaving the turn into the back straight SMASHNIAK WINX checked off heels and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight, SMASHNIAK WINX stumbled and lost ground. MAY ROAD which was trailing collided heavily into SMASHNIAK WINX with both greyhounds losing substantial ground as a consequence. CORY’S DIAMOND and ANOTHER RED raced tight and bumped on numerous occasions approaching the turn into the front straight. Leaving the turn into the front straight ALOTA DAGZ checked off heels, then collided heavily into SON OF BETTY causing ALOTA DAGZ to lose significant ground.
