Race 1 – TAB.COM.AU Maiden H | MAIDEN | 395 M

 

VINI VILLA was best to begin, ONE TIME PLEASE was slow. Leaving the back straight KOORINGA ZOE shifted out and collided heavily into MIXED SPICE, causing MIXED SPICE to lose considerable ground. Leaving the turn out of the back straight MIXED SPICE shifted out sharply and collided into ONE TIME PLEASE, with both greyhounds losing ground as a result. Approaching the turn into the front straight ONE TIME PLEASE was impeded and lost momentum. Leaving the turn into the front straight MIXED SPICE and EXCLUSIVE CHLOE checked.

 

Race 2 – ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND Maiden | Handicap | 395 M

 

DANILO was best to begin. TOKEN DELIGHT was slow. Approaching the turn into the back straight DANILO shifted in, which impeded BANJO’S ISSUE and MIDNIGHT LIAISON. Leaving the turn out of the back straight MIDNIGHT LIAISON checked off heels and lost significant ground. Approaching the turn into the front straight NOAKI QUEEN was impeded, shifted wide and lost ground.

 

Race 3 – MARBURG HOTEL | NOVICE | 395 M

 

GITCHA QUICK was best to begin. HOPE SAID was inconvenienced shortly after start and lost ground. SHANAE WHO and GALWAY WOLFGANG raced tight and checked on multiple occasions through the turn into the back straight. Leaving the turn out of the back straight MISTER MORK was impeded then checked into GITCHA QUICK, with both greyhounds losing ground as a result. HOPE SAID raced wide through the turn into the front straight and continued to race wide for the remainder of the race.

 

Race 4 – EXPAT LODGE BOARDING KENNELS 5th Grade H | 5th GRADE | 395 M

 

REGAL JADE was best to begin. At the first turn the entire field with the exemption of REGAL JADE and LUCK’S GONE raced tight and checked, with TOOKA TRIP and WHO NOSE SIZE losing ground as a result. Approaching the turn out of the back straight SENOR DYLAN checked off heels and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the front straight BRAYSTONES BEACH was impeded, shifted wide and lost ground. Leaving the turn into the front straight WHO NOSE SIZE collided into the rear of ODESSA stumbled and lost considerable ground.

 

SENOR DYLAN underwent a post-race veterinary examination with no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 5 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD 5th Grade H | 5th GRADE | 395 M

 

ANNIE SAID was best to begin. REGAL REPORT was marginally slow. Shortly after start STANKY LEG and BIG LITTLE LIES were tightened for racing room, checked off heels and lost ground. REGAL REPORT which was trailing was inconvenienced also. Approaching the turn into the back straight YOUI checked off heels and lost considerable ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight STANKY LEG and TOOK A SELFIE raced tight and checked with both losing momentum. YOUI which was trailing was impeded and also lost momentum. BIG LITTLE LIES raced wide in the turn out of the back straight and continued wide for the remainder of the race.

 

TOOK A SELFIE underwent a veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 6 – GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND 5th Grade H | 5th GRADE | 395 M

 

CASH FLOW JOE and MODERN GODDESS were best to begin. ISADORA FROSTED and MILLION DOLLAR were marginally slow. In the first turn CASH FLOW JOE checked off heels and lost ground. CORAZON WOMAN and LARRIKAN LASS both raced wide through the turn into the back straight. CORAZON WOMAN and LARRIKAN LASS both raced wide through the turn into front straight. 

 

Race 7 – FABREGAS @ STUD | 5th GRADE | 520 M

 

FARMOR IMAGE was best to begin. WAZZA QUEEN was marginally slow. SMASHNIAK DOUBLE and ALPHA ULYSSES were both tightened for racing room shortly after start and lost momentum. Approaching the first turn, IRISH RIPPLE improved onto the heels of FARMOR IMAGE causing that greyhound to lose considerable ground as a result. ALPHA ULYSSES and WAZZA QUEEN raced wide through the first turn. Leaving the first turn SMASHNIAK DOUBLE improved on the rear of FARMOR IMAGE then collided into that greyhound, causing both greyhounds to lose considerable ground. Leaving the turn out of the back straight BILLY BOY was tightened for racing room, impeded and lost momentum.

 

SMASHNIAK DOUBLE underwent a veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 8 – BOX1PHOTOGRAPHY.COM | 3 /4 GRADE | 395 M

 

ANNIE’S MAGIC and BLOZA were best to begin. RINGBARK BELLA was marginally slow. At the first turn NOOREE DESSA and NAUGHTY MAX were both tightened for racing room, checked and lost considerable ground. Shortly after COMERTRON FLYER checked off heels and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight RINGBARK BELLA was impeded and lost momentum.

 

Race 9 – GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM 5th Grade H | 5th GRADE | 395 M

 

HAY HONEY and NAN’s MAGIC were both best to begin. BELVEDERE BABE and PINK IMPACT checked at the first turn, shortly after BELVEDERE BABE checked off heels and lost considerable ground as a result. Leaving the turn into the home straight HAY HONEY and KINGSBRAE PETER collided, with both losing ground. PINK IMPACT and LION’S BLUE raced wide in the front straight.

 

Race 10 – THE MANLY HOTE | 4/5 | 331 M

 

FABTHOR was best to begin. PERONI BEACH was slow. Shortly after start LID PINGER was tightened for racing room, checked, and become unbalanced. Into the turn out of the back straight, STAR BILLING was tightened for racing room, lost momentum and ground as a result. Approaching the turn into the front straight POPPYCOCK collided into the rear of MYONA ROSE causing that greyhound to fall and take no further competitive part in the race. POPPYCOCK was severely impeded as a result and lost ground, DIAMOND SAND and FABTHOR raced tight over the concluding stages of the race.

 

MYONA ROSE underwent a veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
