Race Reports

 

 

Race 1 – MARBURG HOTEL Maiden H MAIDEN 331M

 

Approaching the turn out of the back straight YAPPER BLISS and TWO MORE MODELS collide. Rounding the turn out of the back straight ZULU DELIGHT was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Shortly after ZULU DELIGHT and TWO MORE MODELS collide resulting in both greyhounds to be severally checked and lose considerable ground. PARANELLA raced wide rounding the turn into the front straight.

 

ZULU DELIGHT underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 2 – BRISGREYS ON INSTAGRAM Maiden H MAIDEN 331 M

 

BEV’S REMISSION was slow to begin. In the back straight BEV’S REMISSION was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight BEV’S REMISSION improved onto the heels of MISSING HER resulting in both greyhounds to lose ground. Approaching the turn into the front straight BEV’S REMISSION improves onto the hind quarters of MISSY HER resulting in both greyhounds to lose ground.

 

MISSING HER underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 3 – GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND PN 331 M

 

ABOUT READY was slow to begin. Shortly after the start ZULU ASSAULT checked across heels and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight ZULU ASSAULT was tightened for racing room and lost ground. FABIO MARSHA was checked as a result of this incident and lost ground.

 

Race 4 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE 331 M

 

FULL IMPACT was slow to begin. Entering the back straight FAST JUDGEMENT was tightened for racing room and lost ground. In the back straight ZULU STRIKE was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight RAINMAKER ELLE and SELECT TRICK collide resulting in both greyhounds to lose ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight LADY LILLA raced wide which hampered the running of RAINMAKER ELLE. Rounding the turn into the front straight RAINMAKER ELLE shifted out collided with LADY ULLA. RAINMAKER ELLE underwent a post-race vet examination which revealed to have injured its near fore tail, RAINMAKER ELLE was charged under Rule 63B for failing to pursuit the lure with due commitment rounding the turn into the front straight, RAINMAKER ELLE was stood down from racing for a period of 7 days and must trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards before returning to racing.

 

Race 5 – TWITTER @ BRISGREYS 5th MAIDEN 331 M

 

DOZER GOLD was tightened for racing room shortly after start. Entering the back straight MAMMA’s BOY, ON TIGHT LINES and MISS GAMBLER were all tightened for racing room and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight DOZER GOLD was tightened for racing room and lost ground. MAMMA’S BOY which was trailing was checked as a consequence and lost ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight MISS GAMBLER, MAMMA’S BOY, DOZER GOLD and ON TIGHT LINES were all tightened for racing room and lost ground.

 

Race 6 – EXPAT LODGE BOARDING KENNELS 2 /3 GRADE 331 M

 

VELOCITY ZARIN was slow to begin in the early stages of the race. Entering the back straight MISS AMELIA was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight BELEVEDERE BABE, GITCHA HUMMIN’, BILLY WHO, MISS AMELIA and SANDLER all received interference and lost ground.

 

Race 7 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY 1 /2 GRADE 331 M

 

Entering the back straight KEY FACTOR was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Rounding the turn into the back straight SHADOW COURT was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Entering the back straight BLACK PAWS and LADY OLIVIA collide which resulting in LADY OLIVIA shifting out and colliding with DATA BASE which resulting in both LADY OLIVIA and DATA BASE to be checked and lost ground.

 

Race 8 – GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM 3 /4 GRADE 395 M

 

Through the first turn NO CLYDE NEEDED and EL NUNU were tightened for racing room and lost ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight EL NUNU and CAPTAIN’S KNOCK collide, resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.

 

Race 9 – FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE 3 /4 GRADE 331 M

 

In the front straight MAGIC PLANK shifted out and bumped SOLO MISSION which caused SOLO MISSION to shift out and collided with IRONBAR RICKY resulting in both SOLO MISSION and IRONBAR RICKY to lose ground. 

 

Race 10 – ZILLMERE SPORTS 4 /5 GRADE 331 M

 

 Entering the back straight PANTERA NEGRA was tightened for racing room and lost ground.

 

Race 11 – SKY RACING 5th GRADE 331 M

 

Entering the back straight PEGGALICIOUS and NIVEK RETSERROF were tightened for racing room and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight BRINDALEE checked across heels and lost ground.

 

PEGGALICIOUS underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 12 – SKY RACING 5th GRADE 331 M

 

SWEET KAOS slipped on the mat shortly after the start and lost ground. Entering the back straight MISS GRASSCUTTER was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight STAR RING and ROASALIE WHO collide resulting in both greyhounds losing ground. SWEET KAOS which was trailing was checked as a consequence and lost ground.
