Race 1 – TAB MAIDEN H | MAIDEN GRADE | 395 M

 

Axle Whelan was best to begin. It All Cheeky began awkwardly and was slow. At the first turn Campfire Kid and Roseavilla were tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Shortly after Fly Burudira and It All Cheeky checked and lost momentum. Leaving the turn into the back straight Roseavilla checked off heels and lost considerable ground. Leaving the turn out of the back straight, Fly Burudira was tightened for racing room, checked off heels and lost considerable ground.  

Race 2 – SKY RACING MAIDEN H | MAIDEN GRADE | 395 M

Lock ‘em was best to begin. Dame Esmerelda and Pay Today were both marginally slow. At the first turn Mixed Spice were tightened for racing room and lost ground. Shortly after Dame Esmerelda checked off heels and lost ground. Leaving the turn into the back straight, Aquitaine shifted out and collided into Pay Today resulting in both greyhounds losing ground. Approaching the turn out of the back Aquitaine commenced to yield ground.

Aquitaine - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 3 – ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND | NOVICE | 395 M

Mister Mork was best to begin. Our Sassy Gypsy was extremely slow and as a consequence lost substantial ground. The majority of the field raced tight and checked at the first turn causing Patche De Kahn and Magic Gypsy to lose ground. Shortly after Unique Leigh and Murphy Rumble were also tightened for racing room and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight, Unique Leigh improved onto the heels of Magic Gypsy, resulting in both greyhounds losing ground. Approaching the turn into the home straight Unique Leigh and Patch De Kahn collided and lost ground. Mister Mork and Tejay’s Pride raced tight and checked over the concluding stages of the race.

Our Sassy Gypsy - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 4 – MARBURG HOTEL | NOVICE GRADE | 395 M

Lady Aussie and Let’s Go Ozzi were best to begin. Straight Rum was slow. Leaving the first turn Two Sore Feet checked off heels and collided into Wee Jackie, which then inconvenienced Burrum Boy with One Time Please, with those greyhounds losing ground. Leaving the turn into the back straight, Wee Jackie shifted out and collided heavily into Burrum Boy which became unbalanced, shifted in and checked with One Time Please, with those greyhounds losing ground as a result. Leaving the turn out of the back straight Bonnie Eileen was tightened for racing room, checked off heels and lost further ground.

Bonnie Eileen - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 5 – EXPAT LODGE 5 TH GRADE H | 5 GRADE | 395 M

Emmaville Bella was best to begin. At the first turn Rumble Master and Zulu Vision collided which also caused interference to Call Me Aussie and Saga Noren, with all those greyhounds losing ground as a result. Leaving the turn out of the back straight, Northern Girl checked off heels and lost ground. Shortly after Zulu Vision, and Call Me Aussie checked off heels and lost further ground. Approaching the turn into the front straight Call Me Aussie was impeded checked off heels and fell, taking no further competitive part in the race. 

Zulu Vision - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Call Me Aussie- underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Brindalee underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 6 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD 5th Grade H | 5 GRADE | 395 M

Magic Code was best to begin. Stop The Image, Inquisitive Me, Phantom Henry and Shifting Colour all collided at the first turn, with all losing ground at varying degrees. Approaching the turn into the front straight Shifting Colour shifted out checking Inquisitive Me with both greyhounds losing ground as a result. Approaching the finishing line Stop The Image shifted in and checked into Phantom Henry.  

Race 7 –GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND | 3 / GRADE | 395 M

Raquel’s Magic was best to begin Blue Lemonade was marginally slow. In the first turn Zinchenko was tightened for racing room, checked off heels and collided heavily into Brindalee, which in turn inconvenienced Blue Lemonade, with those greyhounds losing substantial ground. Leaving the turn into the back straight, Zinchenko improved onto the rear of Brindalee causing both greyhounds to become severely unbalanced and lose substantial ground. Approaching the winning post YoYo Lass improved onto the rear of Maywyn Emeralds and lost ground.

Race 8 – FABREGAS@STUD | BT8 GRADE | 395 M

White Ox was best to begin. In the first turn So Crazy checked off heels and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight So Crazy was impeded and lost ground. Leaving the turn into the front straight Cyndie Who improved onto the heels of Fab Fit, resulting in both greyhounds losing momentum. Premier Tejay shifted in and impeded Fab Fit just prior to the finish.

Race 9 – BOX1PHOTOGRAPHY.COM 5th Grade H | 5 GRADE | 395 M

Eli Red Fawn was best to begin. The majority of the field raced tight  into the first turn, with Bullet Pass and Rice’s Legacy checking off heels and losing substantial ground as a consequence. Approaching the turn out of the back straight, Daze Like These checked off heels, become severely unbalanced and lost ground. Rice’s Legacy which was trailing was also inconvenienced. Bullet Pass which was also trailing collided into Daze Like These with both these greyhounds losing substantial ground.

Race 10 – GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM 5th Grade H| 5 GRADE | 395 M

Opal Beach was best to begin. Leaving the first turn Time and Place was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight Classy Aria was impeded and lost ground.
