Race 1 – TAB – M GRADE – 395M

 

The all clear of this race was delayed to allow stewards the opportunity to view the official race footage, with respective to the positioning of the lure in the back straight. To determine if any runner chances were materially affected by the positioning of the lure. After viewing the film the Stewards were satisfied that no runners were affected and therefore gave the all clear.

Kooringa Zoe was slow to begin. Shortly after the start Tuta Bryan was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Through the first turn Tuta Bryan was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Approaching the turn coming into the back straight Kooringa Zoe and Stellar Star collide resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight Train Traveller was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the front straight Roseavilla and Train Traveller collide resulting in Train Traveller to be checked and lose ground. Tuta Bryan raced wide rounding the turn into the front straight

Race 2 –SKY RACING | M GRADE | 395 M

Shortly after start Fabian Feast checked off heels and lost ground. Through the first turn Magic Dancer, Run With Girl and Black Corazon were all tightened for racing room and lost ground. Shortly after Tuta Single One was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight Magic Dancer improved onto the hind quarters of Crocodile Tears resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. At the same time Danilo and Son Of Villa collide, resulting in Son Of Villa to be checked and lose ground. In the back straight Tuta Single One was tightened for racing room and lost ground.

Race 3 –ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND | NOV GRADE | 395 M

Where The Lady is was slow to begin. Shortly after start Fabio Marsha was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight Cool Woman was tightened for racing room and lost ground, Silent Cannons and Mixed Spice which were trailing were checked as a consequence and lost ground .Zulu Plastique was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Leaving the back straight Cool Woman was tightened for racing room and lost ground.

Race 4 –MARBURG HOTEL  NOV GRADE  395 M

Shortly after start Hope Said and Rebel Spike collide on a number of occasions, resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight Hope Said and Vini Villa collide resulting in Vini Villa to be checked and to lose ground, Flying Hound which was trailing was checked as a consequence and lost ground. Entering the back straight Rebel Spike and Fake News collide resulting in Fake News to be severally checked and fall with Rebel Spike to be severally checked and lose considerable ground.

Race 5 –EXPAT LODGE | 4 /5 GRADE | 331 M

Leaving the back straight Miss Beckboo checked across heels and collided with Regal Trav resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and to lose ground. Approaching the turn into the front straight Chrome Run and Satin Lustre bump on a number of occasions. Entering the front straight Chrome Run was tightened for racing room and lost ground.

Race 6 –THIRTY TALKS @ STUD | 4 /5 GRADE | 395 M

Through the first turn Ringbark Ace, Copy Workshop, Farcelona Fenix and Million Dollar were tightened to racing room and lost ground.

When questioned over the performance of Ringbark Ace trainer Miss S. Lawrance explained that the greyhound in her view did not begin as well as it had in other starts and then received major interference through the first turn, which contributed to the overall position of the race. She said that the greyhound had trained well leading up to the race with no setbacks and she was expecting a forward showing. Ringbark Ace underwent a veterinary examination post-race which failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities and underwent a post-race swab.

Race 7 –GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND 5th Grade F  5 GRADE  395 M

Shortly after start Trav Said was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Through the first turn Fly Mariposa and Oblivinator were tightened for racing room and was severely checked as a consequence and lost considerable ground. Super Cup was checked as a result of this incident and lost ground. Leaving the back straight Burrum Eagle improved onto the heels of Zulu Assault, resulting in that greyhound to be checked, shift out and collide with Trav Said which resulted in both greyhounds to be checked and to lose ground. .Rounding the turn into the front straight Sweet Kaos and Zulu Assault collide which resulted in Zulu Assault to be checked and to lose ground. 

Race 8-FABREGAS @ STUD | 5 GRADE | 520 M

Shortly after start Point Seven and Hara’s Shadow collide. Shortly after Invictus Clive was tightened for racing room and lost ground. In the front straight in the first occasion Hara’s Shadow, Emulating Chloe and Kingsbrae Jeff were all tightened for racing room and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the front straight Imma Callim Klay and Invictus Clive collide resulting in Invictus Clive to be checked and to lose ground, Wazza Said and Point Seven which were trailing were checked as a consequence and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight as a result of the previous incident Point Seven and Kingsbrae Jeff collide with both greyhounds to be severely checked and to lose considerable ground.  

Race 9 –BOX1PHOTOGRAPHY.COM | BT8 GRADE | 331 M

Cyndie Who went up with the lids and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight Zulu Beat and Rapid Explosion bump resulting in Rapid Explosion to be checked and race wide. Entering the front straight On Tight Lines was tightened for racing room and lost ground.

Race 10 –GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM | 5 GRADE | 395 M

Shortly after start Isadora Frosted and Wickla were tightened for racing room and lost ground. Through the first turn Wazza Queen, Isadora Frosted and Brooklyn Miss were tightened for racing room and lost ground. Entering the back straight Emmaville Bella was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight Brooklyn Miss was tightened for racing room and lost ground. 

Race 11 –BRISGREYS.COM | 5 GRADE | 395 M

Shortly after start Rear View checked across heels and lost ground Into the turn in the back straight Rear View checked across heels and raced wide. Rear View raced wide out of the turnout of the back straight.

Race 12 –SKY RACING | P5 GRADE | 395 M

Light The Barbie was slow to begin. Through the first turn Larrikan Lass was tightened for racing room and lost ground, Light The Barbie, Moscow Mule and Zulu Strike which all trailing were checked as a consequence and lost ground.
