Race 1 – Garrard’s Horse and Hound | Grade M | 520m

 

TINY TOT was best to begin. DAME ESMERELDA began very awkwardly, and as a result was very slow. Approaching the first corner, GEORGIA CETTE was checked and lost ground. Leaving the first turn, RYAN’S HOME and GEORGIA CETTE bumped and lost momentum. Leaving the turn into the back straight, GEORGIA CETTE checked off heels and lost ground. 

Race 2 – Thirty Talks @ Stud Maiden F | Grade M | 520m

CHAIRMAN JACK and WHERE’S SHE GONE were both best to begin, FRENCH FROLIC was marginally slow. Shortly after the start, both I’M NOT OSCAR and MOBY GO were checked and lost significant ground. Leaving the first turn, I’M NOT OSCAR checked off the heels of PAY THE ACE and then collided into MOBY GO, with those greyhounds losing ground as a consequence. Leaving the turn out of the back straight, PEARLS ARE US improved onto the rear of WHERE’S SHE GONE and was momentarily hampered.

Race 3 – Twitter @BRISGREYS | Grade NOV | 520m

MERRIWA and WHERE’S THE LADY were both best to begin. CHERRY WINE was marginally slow. Approaching the turn out of the back straight, KINGSBRAE JEFF was momentarily impeded. Leaving the turn into the front straight, KINGSBRAE JEFF and VELOCITY CHANCE collided on a couple of occasions, causing both greyhounds to lose significant ground.

Race 4 – Expat Lodge | Grade R/W | 600m

WHIPPY MIDGET was best to begin. SORRENTO was marginally slow. Approaching the first turn, RED HOT GOSSIP bumped MONICA’S JOY causing that greyhound to race wide and lose ground. Shortly after, RED HOT GOSSIP and MONICA’S JOY collided heavily, with both greyhounds losing significant ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight, AGENT’S CHOICE checked and lost ground. Shortly after, MONICA’S JOY checked off heels and lost ground.

AGENTS CHOICE - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 5 – Box 1 Photography | Grade M5 | 395m

AERIAL DYNAMITE and LITTLE LIVEWIRE were both best to begin. At the first turn, DYNAMITE DOZER and MANDELA CLOUD were checked. ANOTHER RED, which was trailing, was also inconvenienced. Leaving the turn into the front straight, AERIAL DYNAMITE and LITTLE LIVEWIRE checked.

RICHMOND ROAD - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 6 – Greyhound Adoption Program | Grade 4/5 | 520m

FELICI BEACH and MAGIC GYPSY were both best to begin, KULU OZZIE was very slow. In the front straight on the first occasion, FARMOR IMAGE was impeded and lost momentum. FELICI BEACH and LIGHTNING BEACH raced tight and bumped on numerous occasions over the concluding stages of the race.

FARMOR IMAGE - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 7 – Sky Racing 5th Grade F | Grade 5 | 520m

EL DOUBLE ONE and SWEET TALKING were both best to begin, ONE MUMMA was slow. Approaching the first turn, GYPSY WILD checked off heels and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the front straight, NOAKI QUEEN and ONE MUMMA bumped, resulting in ONE MUMMA losing ground. NO CLYDE NEEDED, which was trailing, collided heavily into the rear of ONE MUMMA and lost considerable ground.

ONE MUMMA - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 8 – Fabregas @ Meticulous Lodge | Grade BT8 | 395m

DATA BASE was best to begin. Shortly after the start, ARABELLA EMJAY, SO CRAZY, and KULU DOT COM raced tight and checked on a couple of occasions, causing all greyhounds to lose significant ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight, PROPER GENT checked off heels and lost ground. Leaving the turn into the back straight, ARABELLA EMJAY and SO CRAZY checked, causing SO CRAZY to lose significant ground.

Race 9 – BRISGREYS.COM | Grade 4/5 | 395m

SMASHNIAK BATMAN was clearly best to begin. CHIEF SNOW was marginally slow. Leaving the first turn, DRINKING ROCKETS and CHIEF SNOW checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight, TEJAY’S PRIDE commenced to yield ground.

 

TEJAY’S PRIDE - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near-side shoulder and was stood down for a period of 14 days.

 

Race 10 – TAB | Grade 4/5 | 331m

MIDNIGHT TO ONE and SHADOW COURT were both best to begin. Leaving the first turn TOUCHY THROTTLE was checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight, KINGSBRAE RAYLEN was severely checked and lost substantial ground. PERONI BEACH, which was trailing, was inconvenienced and also lost ground. At the same time, MIDNIGHT TO ONE and TOUCHY THROTTLE raced tight and bumped on multiple occasions.  

TOUCHY THROTTLE - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
