Race 1 – Marburg Hotel Maiden H | Grade M | 331m

It Ain’t Cyndie (2) – was checked and lost ground approaching the first turn. Checked and lost ground rounding the turn out of the back straight.

Son Of Villa (5) – checked and lost ground approaching the first turn.

Inoy’s Diamond (6) – was checked and lost ground shortly after the start. Stewards advised trainer Mr Bruce Caden of their concerns with the action of the greyhound at the start of the race when jumping from the boxes. When reviewing the race footage, Stewards were of the opinion that the greyhound had jumped away with the anticipation of sighting the lure immediately adjacent to the starting boxes, however once observing the lure was in a position in front of the field, recorrected its direction. After considering the matter, Stewards could not be comfortably satisfied that the greyhound had offended under any rules.

Double Dream (7) – come up with the lids.

Tuta Sherry (8) – checked and lost ground rounding the turn into the front straight. Raced wide in the front straight.

Glamorous Pins (9) – jumped from Box 1. Checked and lost ground rounding the turn into the front straight.

Race 2 – Brisgreys on Instagram Maiden H | Grade M | 331m

Stevo’s Aim (2) – collided and lost ground approaching the first turn.

Ready To Burst (3) collided and lost ground approaching the first turn.

Fabre Yap (4) – was best away.

Hemisphere Harry (7) – slipped coming out of the boxes and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight, raced wide. In the front straight, raced wide. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent injuries.

Race 3 – Garrard’s Horse and Hound | Grade NOV | 331m

Elite Zipper (1) – was best away.

Elite Jax (7) – was marginally slow.

Race 4 – Thirty Talks @ Stud | Grade M5 | 331m

Jiggle Splat (1) – clipped heels and lost ground rounding the turn out of the back straight.

Wild Connection (2) – was best away. Inconvenienced and hampered rounding the turn out of the back straight.

Star Ring (4) – checked and lost ground rounding the turn out of the back straight.

Mazza (5) – checked and lost ground approaching the turn out of the back straight.

Blackjack Betty (7) – was checked and lost ground rounding the turn into the front straight. Bumped and hampered in the front straight.

Arreba (9) - Was checked and lost ground rounding the turn into the front straight. In the front straight, bumped and hampered.

Illawong Cowgirl (1) – was checked and lost ground shortly after the start.

Lady Nicole (2) – was checked and hampered shortly after the start.

Phantom Dee (4) – tightened for racing room approaching the first turn.

Harbour Drive (7) – clipped heels and lost ground rounding the turn out of the back straight.

Cometron Flyer (8) – raced wide in the back straight.

Moscow Mule (9) – Clipped heels and lost ground entering the back straight.

Race 6 – Expat Lodge | Grade 2/3 | 331m

Short Session (2) – clipped heels and lost ground rounding the turn out of the back straight.

Billy Who (3) – was marginally slow away. Checked and lost ground rounding the turn out of the back straight.

Rapid Effect (4) – checked and lost ground rounding the turn out of the back straight.

Ramblin’ Rose (5) – bumped and hampered approaching the finishing line.

Spanish Harbour (6) – bumped and hampered approaching the finishing line.

Indian Ruby (7) – shifted in, checked and hampered approaching the finishing line.

Follow The Duk (8) – was checked and lost ground rounding the turn into the front straight. 

Race 7 – Box 1 Photography 5th Grade F | Grade 5 | 331m

Ron Zacapa (1) – was checked and lost ground rounding the turn into the front straight.

Hay Nanny (2) – was checked and lost ground shortly after the start. Checked and lost ground rounding the turn into the front straight. Shifted in, collided and lost ground in the front straight.

Sleek Style (4) – was checked and lost ground shortly after the start.

Patient Wally (8) – checked and lost ground in the front straight.

Race 8 – Greyhound Adoption Program | Grade 1/2 | 331m

Key Factor (2) – clipped heels and hampered rounding the turn out of the back straight.

Farmor Heat (3) – checked and hampered rounding the turn out of the back straight. Bumped and hampered in the front straight.

Magic Code (6) – checked and lost ground rounding the turn out of the back straight. Bumped and hampered in the front straight.

Race 9 – Fabregas @ Meticulous Lodge | Grade 3/4 | 331m

Gold Grace (2) – checked on numerous occasions and lost ground approaching the turn out of the back straight. Rounding the turn out of the back straight, checked and lost ground.

Opal Beach (3) – checked and lost ground rounding the turn out of the back straight.

Ha Ha Classy (5) – checked and lost ground approaching the turn into the front straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to its off hind leg, and was stood down from racing for a period of 7 days.

Memphis (7) – was marginally slow away.

Time And Place (8) – approaching the turn out of the back straight, checked on numerous occasions and lost ground. Checked and lost ground rounding the turn out of the back straight. Checked and lost ground approaching the turn out of the front straight.

Race 10 – Zillmere Sports | Grade 4/5 | 331m

Chewing Shoes (2) – was checked and lost ground rounding the turn out of the back straight.

Merlin’s Maid (4) – was tightened for racing room shortly after the start and lost ground.

Solo Mission (8) – came up with the lids and began awkwardly. Checked and lost ground rounding the turn out of the back straight.

Race 11 – THR Manly Hotel | Grade 5 | 331m

Weonna Sannette (2) – checked and hampered approaching the turn out of the back straight.  

Blackpearl Girl (3) – was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start. In the front straight, raced wide.

Zipping Chelse (4) – was best away.

Trav Said (5) – clipped heels and was hampered rounding the turn into the front straight.

Wild Man (6) – checked and hampered approaching the turn out of the back straight.

Gold Style (7) – hit the running rail, shifted out, checked and gave no further competitive part, leaving the turn out of the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off hind Achilles and stood down for 8 weeks

Race 12 – BRISGREYS.COM | Grade P5 | 331m

Token Delight – Checked and lost ground rounding the turn out of the back straight.

Ima Talker -  Slow away.

Sol Invictus – Checked, fell and took no further competitive part rounding the turn out of the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered a neck strain and was stood down for 7 days.

After the running of the event, Stewards’ enquired into the conduct of licensed trainer Mr Mark Claxton. After hearing evidence from Cadet Steward N. Thorneycroft, Veterinarian C. Welch, Trainer P.Carleton and Trainer M. Claxton, Stewards’ issued a charge against Mr Claxton under GAR 86(o) for misconduct. The misconduct being that he used offensive language directed at officials while on the course-proper and in the wash-down bay. Mr Claxton pleaded guilty to the charge and was issued a penalty of $500 with $250 to be suspended for a period of 12 months pending no further breaches of a similar rule.
