Race 1 - TAB GOLD CUP HEATS THURSDAY | PM | 331M
1. Te Kiewa Sunrise – Severely checked by another runner that shifted in sharply approaching the first turn. Significantly inconvenienced and collided heavily with another runner immediately afterwards. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. 2. Poppatop - Tightened for racing room and checked shortly after the start. Collided heavily into another greyhound that was inconvenienced, approaching the first turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. 3. Radar Rose - Severely checked off heels approaching the first turn. 6. Orange Gambler - Impeded then checked at the first turn. 8, Mad Invite - Slow to begin. Race 2 – MARBURG HOTEL | M | 331M 1. Green War - Tightened for racing room then checked entering the first turn. 3. Deal 'em - Significantly checked shortly after the start. Impeded then checked approaching the finish. 5. Paris Gambler - Checked shortly after the start. Impeded then shifted wide entering the turn into the front straight. Bumped with another runner exiting the turn into the front straight. 7. Race 3 – BRISGREYS ON INSTAGRAM Maiden F | M | 331M 2. Son Of Villa - Impeded then checked off heels entering the first turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off hind webbing and was stood down for a period of 14 days. 3. Johnny Stitches - Marginally slow to begin. 5. Double Dream - Marginally slow to begin. Significantly checked at the first turn. 7. Super Gambler - Significantly checked entering the back straight. Race 4 – GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND | NOV | 331M 2. Minor League - Significantly inconvenienced by the runner to its outside shortly after the start. Collided heavily with another runner exiting the turn out of the back straight and fell. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a fracture to the off fore leg and was humanly euthanized. 5. Bonny Doon Blaze - Slow to begin. 6. Golly Goodness - Significantly checked entering the first turn. 7. Mista Kick - Checked entering the first turn.
