Other Comments / Explanations: “Due to Government advice around COVID-19, in accordance with GAR 51(10), the Stewards directed the Starter to box the greyhounds into the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races”
Race 1 - SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 331m 1 Red Hot Willow – slow to begin. Shifted out rounding the turn out of the back straight. 5 Rachel's Star – checked rounding the turn out of the back straight. 8 Bud's Hope - slow to begin. Checked in the back straight, lost considerable ground and retired from the race. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed it to have injured its near side pin and was stood down from racing for 21 days.
Race 2 – SELL YOUR CAR @ MOTORHUB MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 331m 1 Ruthless Rage - checked rounding the turn out of the back straight. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed no injuries. 2 Magie O'grady - checked leaving the back straight. 3 Real Demon – checked leaving the back straight. 4 Little Magoo - checked rounding the turn out of the back straight. 6 Maze Bruiser - checked leaving the back straight.
Race 3 – GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE 331m 2 Maywyn Henry – collided with another runner approaching the turn into the front straight. 6 Hara's Olaf – checked shortly after the start. 7 Farmor Malibu - collided with another runner approaching the turn into the front straight. Hampered on entering the front straight. 8 Indie Lou – checked in the back straight. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed no injuries. When questioned over the performance trainer T Medcalf explained that the greyhound is normally a good beginner however when a greyhound that was drawn to its inside was barking loudly when placed in its box it placed his greyhound at a disadvantage and it missed the start. He further stated that after receiving a check in the back straight he was not entirely disappointed with the greyhounds overall performance.
Race 4 – ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 331m 2 Lady Opal – checked entering the back straight. 5 Rebel Spike - checked approaching the turn out of the back straight. 7 Fairway Finder – checked approaching the turn out of the back straight. Checked across heels rounding the turn into the front straight. 8 Walloon Bo - checked approaching the turn out of the back straight.
Race 5 – EXPAT LODGE 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 331m 1 Such A Villain – checked entering the back straight. 8 Oh So Fernando – checked entering the front straight.
Race 6 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY GRADE 4 331m 4 Hey Macarena – checked entering the back straight. 5 Penumbra - checked entering the back straight. Checked in the back straight.
Race 7 – FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE MIXED 3/4 395m 1 Shifting Colour – checked through the first turn. 2 Queen Supreme - checked through the first turn. 3 Fernvale Ruby - checked through the first turn. Checked entering the back straight. 5 No Clyde Needed - checked through the first turn. 7 Let's Go Fabio – commenced to give ground leaving the back straight. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed it to have injured its stomach muscles and was stood down from racing for 21 days.
Race 8 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD BEST 8 331m 3 Short Session – checked entering the back straight. 5 Ramblin' Rose - checked entering the back straight. 7 Walloon Moo – checked shortly after the start.
Race 9 – TAB - LONG MAY WE PLAY 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 331m 2 Daydreaming - checked entering the back straight. 3 Abby Jazzy - checked entering the back straight. Checked across heels rounding the turn into the front straight. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed to have injured its near side pin and was stood down from racing for 7 days. 7 Golly Goodness – checked rounding the turn into the front straight.
Race 10 – FAST TIMES @ SIRES ON ICE 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 GRADE 5 331m 2 Who's Hope – raced wide entering the front straight. 3 Vaquero – checked and raced wide entering the front straight. 8 Maywyn's Zephyr – slow to begin.
Race 11 – BRISGREYS.COM MA5 331m 2 Peroni Beach – checked in the back straight. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed to have lacerations to its off hind leg and was stood down from racing for 10 days. 4 Janray Rastus – raced wide from the turn out of the back straight till reaching the finish post. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed no injuries. 5 Moby Go – checked shortly after the start.
