3 Bailey – Slow to begin. Into the 1^st turn was bumped and inconvenienced losing considerable ground. Raced wide for the majority of the event.

5 In Tune – Into the 1^st turn was checked becoming awkward then shortly after was hampered and checked losing considerable ground.

6 Farmor Summers – Slow to begin. Into the 1^st turn was bumped and inconvenienced losing ground.

7 Buzzer Beater – Into the 1^st turn was tightened between runners losing its position.

8 Elite Corsair – Leaving the 1^st turn improved onto heels the of Kanga Blue losing its momentum and position.

Race 2 - Dave Brett Memorial Heat 1 Maiden 2 520m

2 Pokie Payout – Bumped at the start becoming momentarily awkward. Leaving the 1^st turn shifted out making contact with Velocity Caligo and lost ground as a result. Approaching the back turn improved onto heels and was checked losing ground.

3 Orchestrate – Blundered on jumping becoming awkward. Leaving the 1^st turn inconvenienced and taken wider

4 Velocity Caligo - Leaving the 1^st turn was inconvenienced and lost ground when Pokie Payout shifted out. Raced wide throughout.

6 Golden Sequel – Shortly after the start was tightened between runners losing its position.

8 Big Bash Army – Slow to begin.

Race 3 - Dave Brett Memorial Heat 2 Maiden 2 520m

1 Master Act – Into the 1^st turn was checked across heels taking the turn wide as a result

2 Slippery Sal - Shortly after the start was bumped losing its momentum and position. Through the 1^st turn collided with Morton’s Jilliby and was severely checked losing considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have injured its near side hip and was stood down from racing for 7 days.

3 Hara's Fern – Rounding the home turn checked across heels.

4 Morton's Jilliby - Into the 1^st turn inconvenienced and taken wider. Through the 1^st turn collided heavily with Slippery Sal being severely checked losing considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

6 Elegant Ruby - Into the 1^st turn inconvenienced and taken wider.
