Race 1 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE 520m
2 Typhoon Mae – bumped on the off hind leg by Blue Jeans Talk when entering the home straight resulting in Typhoon Mae to lose momentum.
3 Rochill Lady – hampered by Peltzer when rounding the home turn when that runner shifted inwards resulting in Rochill Lady to check and lose ground.
4 Trivet – slow to begin.
6 Running Express – slow to begin. Tightened for room when approaching the first turn and checked out colliding with Night Capers resulting in Running Express to become unbalanced and lose considerable ground. Trainer Cole Sherwood advised he expected the greyhound to win the event and did support it. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
7 Night Capers – slow to begin. Collided with Running Express when that runner shifted outwards on the first turn resulting in Night Capers to become unbalanced and lose considerable ground. Trainer Greg Brennan advised he expected the greyhound to begin better in the event, with expected forward showing, and did support it. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
9 Peltzer (5) – momentarily hampered after being tightened for room when approaching the first turn. Shifted inwards when rounding the home turn hampering Rochill Lady.
10 Blue Jeans Talk (8) – clipped the off hind leg of Typhoon Mae when entering the home straight.
Race 2 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE FFA 710m
2 Stellar Stone – slow to begin.
6 Blame Brendan – tightened for room and momentarily hampered through the turn into the home straight on the first occasion.
8 Maggie Moo Moo – steadied and shifted out across heels when rounding the turn into the back straight.
Race 3 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MA5 (1) 520m
2 Phantom Laurie – checked out across heels and lost momentum when entering the first turn.
3 Morris The Great – bumped by Phantom Laurie shortly after the start then shifted outwards hampering Shian Cody which was trailing.
5 Shian Cody – slow to begin. Hampered by Morris The Great shortly after the start and lost ground.
6 Sir Pantsalot – slow to begin. Hampered shortly after the start and lost momentum.
7 One Two Win – checked in across heels when entering the first turn and lost ground. Shortly after was tightened for room and lost ground taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a strain to the nearside hip and the greyhound was issued a 14 day stand down.
8 Turanza Tiger – slow to begin. Commenced to give ground shortly after the start and was no longer competitive for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a tear to the off hind back muscle. Trainer Kim Shedden was advised the greyhound would be imposed with a 28 day stand down and must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing again.
Race 4 - FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 600m
1 Aristocratic Gal – bumped It Ain’t Billy through the first turn.
4 See Them Try – collided with Naturally Gifted through the first turn and lost ground.
6 Javens – slow to begin.
7 Naturally Gifted – collided with See Them Try through the first turn and lost considerable ground.
8 It Ain't Billy – bumped by Aristocratic Girl through the first turn and lost momentum.
Race 5 - SKY RACING GRADE 5 (1) 520m
2 Stormy Shari – shifted outwards shortly after the start and hampered Hopeful Lash.
3 Hopeful Lash – hampered by Stormy Shari shortly after the start and lost ground.
4 My Movie Star – bumped with Dynamic Bill when entering the first turn. Clipped on the heels and lost ground when entering the back straight.
5 Mr. Blaster – collided with Lucky Jock when entering the back straight, and then clipped the heels of My Movie Star when losing ground.
6 Lucky Jock – bumped with Dynamic Bill when entering the first turn. Severely checked when colliding with Mr. Blaster when entering the back straight and lost ground. Tightened for room, checked, and lost ground when rounding the turn out of the back straight.
8 Dynamic Bill – slow to begin. Bumped with Lucky Jock, and then My Movie Star, when entering the firs turn and lost momentum.
Race 6 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE GRADE 5 (2) 520m
1 In And Out – tightened for room, checked, and then shifted out across heels when entering the first turn and lost ground.
2 Hopeful Bill – hampered by Pokie Payout when that runner shifted inwards after entering the home straight and lost momentum.
4 Ferrari Cloud – bumped with Mr. Eddie shortly after the start and lost ground.
5 Mr. Eddie – bumped by Pokie Payout shortly after the start and was taken inwards onto Ferrari Cloud and lost ground. Raced wide for most of the event.
6 Pokie Payout – shifted inwards shortly after the start and bumped Mr. Eddie. Shifted inwards shortly after entering the home straight hampering Hopefull Bill.
Race 7 - ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND MIXED 3/4 520m
2 More Than Magic – tightened for room, checked, and lost ground in the front straight.
3 Tribal Magic – tightened for room, checked, and lost ground in the front straight. Tightened for room, checked, and lost ground when entering the first turn.
4 All Hands Off – tightened for room, checked, and lost ground when approaching the first turn.
6 Clocked – anticipated the start poorly making head contact with the lids when opening and then slipped immediately after and subsequently was slow to begin.
8 Sky's The Limit – marginally slow to begin.
Race 8 - TAB - VENUE MODE 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 520m
1 Jimary Spitfire – tightened for room when approaching the first turn, then checked and shifted outwards colliding with Battle, resulting in Jimary Spitfire to lose ground. Clipped on the heels when rounding the home turn and lost momentum.
3 Battle – tightened for room and momentarily hampered in the front straight. Bumped by Jimary Spitfire, which shifted outwards when approaching the first turn, and was taken out onto High Order bumping with that runner, resulting in Battle to lose ground. Checked off heels when rounding the turn out of the back straight.
4 Khandela – jumped from the back of the boxes and was subsequently slow to begin. Tightened for room and momentarily hampered when approaching the first turn. Checked off heels shortly after.
6 Misty Haze – tightened for room, checked, and lost ground when approaching the first turn, then shortly after steadied to avoid High Order, which had fallen in front of and resulted in Misty Haze to lose ground.
7 Hard Marker – slow to begin.
8 High Order – slow to begin. Bumped with Battle and Misty Haze when entering the first turn, then subsequently fell, taking no further part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. Trainer Dennis Moore was advised to report to stewards should anything become apparent in the coming days.
Race 9 - SENNACHIE @ STUD - STEVE WHITE 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 600m
3 Tribute To Dave – marginally slow to begin.
6 Galway Ludwig – momentarily hampered when bumped through the first turn.
Race 10 - ORSON ALLEN @ STUD MA5 (2) 520m
1 It's A Trick – bumped with Regas when leaving the back straight and lost ground.
3 Infrared Lad – tightened for room and momentarily hampered in the home straight.
4 Galway Johann – tightened for room, checked, and lost ground shortly after the start.
5 Regas – bumped with It’s A Trick when leaving the back straight and lost ground.
7 Tevita Shadow – shifted out on entering the first turn, bumped with Jimary Dynamite, and lost ground.
8 Jimary Dynamite – bumped by Tevita Shadow when entering the first turn, became momentarily unbalanced and lost ground.
