Race Reports

 

Prior to the running of the first race stewards ordered that the section of the fence near the 720m boxes was to be repaired as it was unsafe.

 

Race 1 – UNCLE RUSTY’S PHOTOS MAIDEN - 460M

Best out was tica boo boo and stilton Ali. Entering the first turn our cambla boy was tight with cambla yap yap. After the back straight and entering the second turn the field had bunched slightly. Exiting turn two our cambla boy moved wide and checked crazy cambla. After the race our cambla boy was sent to the vet and had suffered a RH Extensor Carpi radial strain and stood down for fourteen days.

 

Race 2 – CRYSTALGEM TROPHIES NOVICE – 460M

Sandshoe and mighty power jumped first and fire fly Jake was last out. Entering the first turn Miss Emmy, dizzy cambla and naughty cambla were tight. Through the second turn and along the finish straight Miss Emmy and mighty power moved wide.

 

Race 3 – TYRE SOLUTIONS 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 – 460M

Fashion flirt was out first and dodgy credit jumped last. Entering the first turn smooth Jake was tight with dodgy credit.

 

Race 4 – C.L.M ACCOUNTANTS HERVEY BAY 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 – 460M

Even start, into the first turn gallon of cambla checked the back of nellysu and the field tightened through the first turn. In the back straight nellysu began dropping off the pace and lost the lead group. Exiting the second turn onto the finish straight madam cambla moved wide and almost collided with betta be Bundy. After the race nellysu was vetted and suffered a RH toe ligament rupture and stood down for 42 days.

 

Race 5 – TERRY’S SIGNS 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 – 460M

Best away was sweet pearl, arreba and wissuta rules. After the jump drives me crazy, dotties image and cristalle max were very tight.

 

Race 6 – REALWAY PROPERTY CONSULTANTS 4TH GRADE – 460M

Best away was bruskey, entering the first turn dyna raze slowed considerably, then exiting the first turn naughty nala slowed and was visibly uncomfortable? Along the back straight dyna raze pulled up and failed to finish the race, the vet found that dyna raze suffered a RH gracillis tear and given 21 days while naughty nala sustained LH & RH sub lumbar and thigh muscle strains and also given 21 days

 

Race 7 – GREAT NORTHERN BEST 8 – 460M

Even jump but immediately after the start cabello mucho slowed and was visibly distressed, through the first turn hypnotise eyes checked into the back of enough knowledge, after the race enough knowledge was bleeding from the RH thigh and was sent to the vet and suffered a laceration and stood down for 10 days. Also cabello mucho was diagnosed with a gracillis tear and given a 63 day stand down period.
