Race 1 - TAB MAIDEN 460m

1 Slick Mac – checked off heels and lost ground leaving the first turn.

 

2 Maori Prince – bumped with another runner entering the first turn.

 

4 Frosty Girl – bumped with another runner entering the first turn. Hampered and lost ground entering the back straight.

 

5 Flying Xena – significantly inconvenienced from behind when entering the turn out of the back straight and lost considerable ground.

 

7 Midnight Nachos – checked approaching the first turn. Contacted the heels of another runner when entering the turn out of the back straight and lost ground.

 

8 On Call – shifted inwards and bumped and with another runner approaching the first turn. Hampered approaching the turn into the front straight and raced wide, losing ground.

 

Race 2 - CHIP TYRE RECYCLERS NOVICE 460m

1 Cambla Samba Kid – checked and lost considerable ground entering the first turn.

 

2 Houdini Who – eased leaving the turn out of the back straight and lost ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a shoulder strain and was stood down for a period of 28 days and will need to provide a satisfactory veterinary certificate before resuming.

Stewards took into account the veterinary examination results in regards to weather a charge would be issued against the runner.

 

4 Volvo Soccer Mum – checked on a number of occasions entering the first turn and lost considerable ground.

 

5 Ragin' Comet – very slow to begin. Checked off heels and was hampered when entering the turn into the front straight, losing ground.

Trainer Louise Cameron was advised by stewards that the box manners of her greyhound will be closely monitored moving forward.

 

7 For The Judge – shifted inwards and collided into another runner on a number of occasions entering the first turn, losing ground.

 

8 Elite Stride – best to begin.

 

Race 3 – TERRY SIGNS 5th Grade 460m

1 Farmor Watch Him – checked entering the first turn and lost ground. Checked entering the turn into the front straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a near triceps laceration and was stood down for a period of 21 days.

 

2 Jayville Torpedo – bumped with another runner entering the first turn. Checked entering the turn into the front straight.

 

3 Andrew's Shadow – checked entering the first turn and lost ground.

 

4 Expat Monza – checked entering the first turn and lost ground.

 

5 Jonathan's Rose – checked entering the first turn and lost ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a torn nail bed and was stood down for a period of 5 days.

Following an incident in the catching pen, trainer Louise Cameron was advised by stewards that her greyhound will now require 2 catchers when competing in future.

 

7 Rum An' Ruby's – checked entering the first turn and lost ground.

 

8 Bunya Beauty – checked entering the first turn and lost ground.

 

Race 4 - EAST END HOTEL GRADE 5 (2) 460m

2 Hillside Fear – best to begin. Hampered entering the front straight. Checked approaching the finish.

 

3 Loose Wire – checked on a number of occasions approaching the first turn and lost ground. Checked off heels leaving the first turn and lost further ground.

 

4 Surbiton – hampered, checked off heels and lost ground when approaching the first turn.

 

5 Velocity Tonelli – checked on a number of occasions approaching the first turn and lost ground.

 

6 Wildash Lou – checked entering the back straight and lost ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no abnormalities.

 

7 All Inn Tilly – hampered approaching the turn out of the back straight.

 

8 Get It Together – hampered and bumped with another runner when entering the back straight.

 

Race 5 - ENDEAVOUR FOUNDATION MIXED 4/5 460m

1 Dinah Shian – checked entering the first turn. Checked and lost ground leaving the first turn.

 

4 Glamorous Pins – checked off heels entering the first turn and lost ground.

 

6 Mr. Apollo – collided into another runner entering the first turn and lost significant ground.

 

7 New Wave – marginally slow to begin.

 

8 Farmor Watch It – significantly inconvenienced by another runner entering the first turn and lost substantial ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no abnormalities.

 

Race 6 - BUNDABERG CUP (L) HEAT 1 OPEN 550m

1 Federal Morgan – checked immediately after the start and lost ground. Stumbled entering the first turn and commenced to yield ground afterwards. Tightened for room and significantly inconvenienced by another runner when entering the turn out of the back straight, losing further ground.. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the near wrist and was stood down for a period of 5 days.

 

2 Under Advice – checked on a number of occasions immediately after the start and lost considerable ground. Bumped with another runner through the turn into the front straight.

 

3 Inga Leo – checked on a number of occasions immediately after the start and lost considerable ground. Checked off heels and lost considerable ground entering the first turn.

 

5 Nerve Settler – hampered approaching the turn into the front straight. Bumped with another runner through the turn into the front straight.

 

6 Fernando Tears – tightened for room and checked shortly after the start. Tightened for room and checked approaching the first turn.

 

7 Easy Al – tightened for room and checked approaching the first turn. Checked and raced wide through the first turn, losing significant ground. Contacted from behind entering the turn out of the back straight and lost ground.

 

8 Sea Riding – tightened for room, checked and lost considerable ground when entering the first turn. 

 

Race 7 - BUNDABERG CUP (L) HEAT 2 OPEN 550m

4 Take Your Shot – checked on a number of occasions approaching the first turn and lost ground.

 

5 Ava Surprise – checked off heels entering the front straight and lost considerable ground.

 

7 Not Scared – checked and stumbled shortly after the start.

 

8 Prince Cosmic – checked off heels in the front straight on the 1st occasion and lost ground. Checked and raced very wide through the first turn, losing ground. Hampered entering the back straight.

 

Race 8 - UNCLE RUSTY'S PHOTOS MIXED 3/4 460m

1 Oriental Ollie – checked approaching the first turn.

 

2 Dolcetto Hayze – checked off heels leaving the first turn.

 

3 Lanark Blue – tightened for room, checked off heels and lost significant ground when entering the turn into the back straight.

Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the near hip and was stood down for a period of 5 days.

4 Roman Siren – checked approaching the first turn and lost considerable ground. Checked entering the back straight and lost ground. Hampered approaching the finish.

 

8 Wildash Macie – checked entering the back straight and lost ground.
