Race 1 - CHIP TYRE RECYCLERS MAIDEN 460m

1 Hostile Rage – checked off heels and lost ground entering the back straight.

 

4 Frosty Girl – checked off heels and lost considerable ground leaving the first turn.

 

5 Flying Xena – hampered entering the turn out of the back straight and lost ground.

 

7 Midnight Million – stumbled entering the front straight.

 

8 Tell Me More – began awkwardly. Stumbled entering the turn out of the back straight and took no further competitive part in the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the off wrist and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 2 - TERRY SIGNS MA5 460m

2 Naveed – checked entering the turn out of the back straight and lost significant ground.

 

3 Andrew's Shadow – checked off heels leaving the first turn and lost ground.

 

6 Glamorous Pins – hampered entering the turn into the front straight, then shifted outwards and raced wide through the turn.

 

7 Jonathan's Rose – raced tight and bumped with another runner entering the first turn. Checked off heels entering the back straight and lost ground. Checked entering the turn out of the back straight and lost further ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an abrasion to the front toe and was stood down for a period of 5 days.

 

8 Zipper up – raced tight and bumped with another runner entering the first turn.

 

Race 3 - RESERVE **** EAST END HOTEL GRADE 5 (1) 460m

1 Velocity Jacinta – stumbled and lost ground leaving the turn out of the back straight.  

 

2 Get It Together – hampered approaching the finish.

 

4 Surbiton – slow to begin. Inconvenienced by another runner entering the turn into the back straight and lost significant ground. Raced wide through the turn into the front straight.  

 

7 Dig Deep – checked entering the turn into the back straight and lost significant ground.

 

9 Gruff Rose – raced wide through the turn into the front straight.

 

Race 4 - TAB BUNDABERG CUP (L) CONSOLATION OPEN 550m

1 Ava Surprise – best to begin. Raced wide through the turn into the front straight and continued to race wide for the remainder of the event.

 

5 Engage - Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the off wrist and was stood down for a period of 5 days.

 

7 Take Your Shot – checked entering the first turn and lost ground. Hampered and lost further ground when entering the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the near pin and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 5 - ENDEAVOUR FOUNDATION GRADE 5 550m

2 Hillside Fear – hampered and lost ground when entering the first turn.

 

3 Roy Revere – hampered and lost ground when entering the first turn.

 

5 Hello Mavis – began awkwardly.

 

6 Burrum Boy – raced wide through the first turn.

 

8 Ragin' Comet – hampered entering the front straight.

 

Race 6 - TAB BUNDABERG CUP (L) FINAL OPEN 550m

3 Waddling Witch – hampered approaching the turn into the front straight.

 

4 Not Scared – stumbled entering the first turn and lost ground.

 

7 Under Advice – tightened for room and checked, shortly after the start. Checked entering the first turn and lost ground. Significantly checked immediately afterwards and lost considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a laceration to the dorsal metatarsus and was stood down for a period of 21 days.

 

8 Sir Pantsalot – checked and lost momentum when entering the first turn.  

 

9 Prince Cosmic – tightened for room, checked and lost ground, when approaching the first turn. Collided into another runner entering the first turn and lost considerable ground.

 

Race 7 - UNCLE RUSTY'S PHOTOS MIXED 4/5 460m

1 Roman Siren – bumped with another runner entering the first turn. Checked off heels in the back straight and lost ground. Checked with another runner on a number of occasions through the turn into the front straight and lost momentum.

 

2 Sunset Harlow – checked entering the first turn. Checked leaving the first turn. Checked off heels in the back straight and lost ground.

 

4 Oriental Ollie – bumped with another runner approaching the first turn. Checked off heels entering the first turn and lost significant ground.

 

5 Winsome Fever – bumped with another runner approaching the first turn. Checked and lost significant ground entering the first turn. Raced wide through the turn into the back straight and continued wide for the remainder of the race.

 

7 Factional – inconvenienced by another runner when entering the first turn and lost ground.

 

Race 8 - BARGARA BAKERY GRADE 5 (2) 460m

3 Dinkydi Whispers – tightened for room leaving the first turn and lost momentum.

 

4 Rock On Roxy – checked approaching the first turn and lost ground.

 

5 Slick Mac – checked approaching the first turn and lost ground. Checked and lost further ground entering the turn out of the back straight. Shifted outwards towards another runner, before colliding into that runner on a number of occasions when approaching the turn into the front straight, losing substantial ground as a result. Deviated its attention towards the same runner on its outside when approaching the finish, making muzzle contact with that runner. Subsequently was charged under GAR 69 (Marring 1st offence) and was stood down from racing at Bundaberg for a period of 28 days and will need to perform a satisfactory stewards trial before resuming racing.   

 

6 Fast Chloe – bumped with another runner approaching the first turn.

 

7 Loves Me Not – tightened for room, checked off heels and lost ground entering the turn into the back straight. Checked and lost ground approaching the turn out of the back straight. Severely inconvenienced by another runner when approaching the turn into the front straight and lost substantial ground. Inconvenienced by the same runner when approaching the finish.

 

8 Wildash Lou – checked entering the turn into the back straight and lost ground. Checked approaching the turn out of the back straight and lost ground.

 

Race 9 - CRAFT RENTAL MIXED 2/3 460m

2 Larkin Po – checked entering the first turn and lost momentum. Raced tight and checked into another runner on multiple occasions over the concluding stages of the event. Stewards spoke to trainer Ms Narelle Mulcahy in regards to the actions of her runner over the concluding stages. After reviewing all available evidence and in particular the front on footage, stewards concluded that no charges would be imposed against the runner.  

 

6 Sparky Lass – checked entering the first turn and lost momentum. Checked off heels entering the turn into the back straight and lost significant ground.

 

8 Fly Mariposa – pushed outwards and checked into another runner on multiple occasions over the concluding stages of the race.
