Race Reports

Race 1 – JEFFREY DOWN BOOKMAKER MIXED M/5 – 410M

FORGOTTEN GEM was the best to begin. SURE MOMENT and DON’T BABYLON were slow to begin.

SURE MOMENT checked across the heels of DON’T BABYLON and lost ground entering the back straight.

SURE MOMENT and DON’T BABYLON raced wide in the front straight.

Race 2 – FISHERY FALLS HOTEL 5^TH GRADE – 410M

POPPA’S PICK was the best to begin. RHONDA’S BEAR was slow to begin.

POPPA’S PICK lost ground in the back straight and continued to lose ground finishing last. POPPA’S PICK underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and was found to have muscle strain in both hind legs.

BANJO AN’ HENRY checked across the heels of KY KENNETH on the turn into the front straight. Shortly after both greyhound bumped resulting in KY KENNETH becoming unbalanced and losing ground.

Race 3 – ALOOMBA HOTEL MIXED 4/5^TH GRADE – 410M

BELLA MARLO was the best to begin.

No racing incidents.

BELLA MARLO underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and was found to have muscle strain in both hind legs.

Race 4 – MAX STOCKS FROZEN FOODS MIXED 3/4^TH GRADE – 410M

LIBBY’S HERO was the best to begin. WAYLON BALE and NOT A WORD were slow to begin.

DREAM AMORE checked off the heels of SPRING BEK and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.

WAYLON BALE checked across the heels of DREAM AMORE and lost ground in the back straight.

DREAM AMORE improved on to the heels of SPRING BEK and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.

SPRING BEK and DREAM AMORE bumped entering the front straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.

Race 5 – ADOPT A RETIRED RACER MIXED 1/2^ND GRADE – 410M

SHARHELIAN STAR was the best to begin. CREED was slow to begin.

CREED checked across the heels of BURNER BANT and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight. CREED continued to lose ground failing to finish the race. CREED underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and was found to have an off front wrist injury. The trainer of CREED advised that he would be retiring the greyhound.
