Race 1 – BERYL GREEN’S BATTLERS STAKES 0-1 WINS – 366M

 

INOUNO was best to begin.  Shortly after the start, FROSTY BLACK JAY shifted out.  At the100m, DRUID PRINCE clipped heels and lost ground. 

 

Race 2 – CORNERSTONE RISK MANAGEMENT MA5 – 366M

 

Even start.  Shortly after the start, GUNNA WINK, SAY GOOD DAY, FANCY FREEL and GIFTED PINES collided.  At the 200m, GIFTED PINES shifted out and CHARLIE WHAT shifted in.  Leaving the 200m, BATTY LOVES BEER commenced to give ground.  Approaching the 100m, GIFTED PINES and SPUDTASTIC bumped. 

 

The greyhound BATTY LOVES BEER underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

 

Race 3 – JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS 5TH GRADE (1) – 366M

 

Even start.  Shortly after the start, RISING SON and ALPHA RHEA shifted out, with GIRL OVERBOARD and TOOKA TRIP shifting in.  Leaving the 200m, ROSEY’S LASS and GIRL OVERBOARD bumped.  At the 100m, MONTAIGNE clipped heels and lost ground.

 

The greyhound GIRL OVERBOARD underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off side wrist and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 4 – SHANE MURPHY PAINTING CONTRACTORS 5TH GRADE (2) – 366M

 

Even start.  Shortly after the start, all greyhounds except TOOK A RHYNO collided.  Approaching the 200m, DAM SLIPPERY shifted out checking POINT SEVEN and ELUSIVE ARROW.  At the 200m, POINT SEVEN and ELUSIVE ARROW shifted in and both greyhounds collided.  At the same time TOOK A RHYNO shifted out checking TSAR BOMBER, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. 

 

The greyhound POINT SEVEN underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 5 – KEYBOW @ STUD 5TH GRADE (3) – 366M

 

Even start.  Shortly after the start, ON EL, TOOK A SELFIE and CHASING DOLLARS collided.  Approaching the 200m, WHINGING WILKO shifted out.  At the 200m, FI FI RUMBLE and CHASING DOLLARS collided.  Approaching the 100m, AERIAL DYNAMITE and ONE EL collided.

 

Race 6 – WARDY’S 50TH CELEBRATION MIXED 4/5TH GRADE – 366

 

Even start.  Shortly after the start TOOK A FERGUS, POWER SERVICE and ANOTHER RED collided.  Approaching the 200m, BROTHER DESY and COOKIE NO CREAM shifted in and collided.  Approaching the 100m, ALPHA CHAOS shifted out.

 

Race 7 – MELB CUP @ CAP GREYS RQ YOUNG GUNS OPEN FINAL – 366M

 

Even start.  Shortly after the start, ALPHA ULYSSES was severely checked and lost ground, and gave no further competitive part in the race.  At the 200m, ALPHA VALENTINE, CLASSY CASSIE and POTENTIAL collided.

 

The greyhound ALPHA ULYSSES underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near side shoulder and was stood down for a period of 14 days.

 

The greyhound STEALTHY NIGHT underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off hind toes and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

 

Race 8 – SOFT LAUNCH REDUNDANCY STAKES BEST 8 – 366M

 

Even start.  Shortly after the start, AMBER MARIE, RED VEE and IT’S DYLAN raced tight.  Approaching the 200m, RED VEE and IT’S DYLAN bumped.  At the 200m, LEEROY ROGUE, RED VEE and AMBER MARIE shifted out.

 

Race 9 – SWAN PLUMBING SUPPLIES CAPALABA MIXED 3/4TH GRADE – 366M

 

Even start.  Shortly after the start, STAR RING, CHIPPIES and STICKY STICKA collided.  Approaching the 200m, LION’S BLUE shifted out checking MOMENT TO SHINE, at the same time, NIKKI NETTLE and CAWBOURNE BIGRED bumped.  At the 200m, LION’S BLUE shifted out checking MOMENT TO SHINE, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.
