Race Reports

 

Race 1 – JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS MAIDEN – 366M

 

Even start. Shortly after the start, NOIRE DREAM and NAT KING KAHN collided. At the 200m, FABULOUS DAN shifted in, at the same time NAT KING KAHN commenced to give ground and gave no further competitive part. Leaving the 200m, NOIRE DREAM shifted out.

 

The greyhound NAT KING KAHN underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off side pin and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

 

Race 2 – CONGRATS CHAMPAGNE SALLY NOVICE – 366M

 

Even start. Shortly after the start, BAY OF MOJO’S and CATER STREET bumped. Approaching the 200m, CATER STREET shifted in checking GIFT. At the 200m ALPHA HEMERA shifted out.

 

Race 3 – KEYBOW @ STUD 5PW – 366M

 

Even start. Shortly after the start, DOZER GOLD and HAVANA BLACK collided.  At 200m, DOZER GOLD shifted out. At 100m, ELOISE shifted out.

 

Race 4 – MELBOURNE CUP @ CAP GREYS 5TH GRADE – 366M

 

Even start. Shortly after the start, BARBARELLA and COOKIE NO CREAM bumped, at the same time ODESSA, FANCY FREEL, LUCILLE RUMBLE and SATIN LUSTRE collided. At 200m, GEORGIE PORGI shifted in and FANCY FREEL shifted out. Leaving the 200m, VELOCITY AGNETHA and GEORGIE PORGI collided.

 

Race 5 – SHANE MURPHY PAINTING CONTRACTORS 5TH GRADE – 366M

 

Even start. Shortly after the start, CLASSIC CHA CHA shifted out checking TURN AND BURN and HOPPING MAD. Approaching the 200m, JERRY’S BOY and VIKING WHITE shifted in. Leaving the 200m, CLASSIC CHA CHA commenced to give ground and gave no further competitive part in the race.

 

The greyhound CLASSIC CHA CHA underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off side wrist and was stood down for a period of 14 days.

 

Race 6 – CORNERSTONE RISK MANAGEMENT MIXED 4/5TH GRADE – 366M

 

Prior to the commencement of the race,  all greyhounds were removed from the boxes because of a faulty starting light, vet checked and all passed fit to race.

 

Even start. Shortly after the start, LUCKMAN and TSAR BOMBER bumped. Approaching the 200m, LUCKMAN shifted out, resulting in MY MATE LENNY being checked. Approaching the 100m, BARDO’S MEMORY and THANKING PETER bumped. MY MATE LENNY shifted out.

 

The greyhound SPRING LOTTIE underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 7 – SB UNITED OLD BOYS BEST 8 366M

 

Even start. Shortly after the start, I’M A HOTSHOT shifted out checking MEMPHIS. Approaching 200m, MEMPHIS shifted in.
