Race 1 – Bernie Culley, Maiden - 366m

 

ONE TIME PLEASE and TWEED GOVENER were slow to begin. Shortly after the start WALTZING BANJO was bumped by another runner and lost ground. Near the 250m WINSOME TARA and TWEED GOVENER collided and lost ground. Near the 200m HUMPTY DOO checked off the heels of another runner.

 

Race 2: Trevor McSherry, Novice - 366m

 

At the start ROMAN SILVER, TAM’S GIRL, HARA’S SHADOW and PATCHE DE KAHN were tightened for room and checked to varying degrees as a consequence.

 

Race 3: Tommy Hoyland Memorial Heat 1, Grade 5 - 366m

 

GALWAY JOHANN was slow to begin. Shortly after the start WALLOON MOO was tightened for room and checked. Over the concluding stages SHIFTING COLOUR checked off heels.

 

Race 4: Tommy Hoyland Memorial Heat 2, Grade 5 - 366m

 

WHO NOSE SIZE was slow to begin. Shortly after the start MISS MILKY BAR was tightened for room and checked. Through the middle stages BAY OF MOJO’s, SONTREI MESCUAL and EL ROMANO collided and were checked to varying degrees.

 

Race 5: Scott Gould, Grade 4 - 366m

 

BIG BAD BOB was slow to begin. At the start MOTTZA and CORYKODI bumped. Near the 300m AMBER MARIE checked off the heels of CALL ME UGO, which had shifted inwards. Shortly after CALL ME UGO and MOTTZA collided. Over the concluding stages MAUGHTY MAX was bumped by another runner and checked.

 

Race 6: Gerard Daffy, Mixed 3/4 - 366m

 

MAGIC HORNET was slow to begin. Shortly after the start DAISY DREAM and FERNVALE RUBY bumped. Near the 250m POWER SERVICE and FERNVALE RUBY checked off heels. Over the concluding stages FARMOR IN TIME and SIRIUS STAR collided and lost ground.

 

Race 7: Don Brown, Mixed 2/3 – 366m

 

IT’S A PARTY, ALPHA LUCKY and SYFY HERO were slow to begin. NIKKI NETTLE began awkwardly and bumped with CARBROOK LAD. Near the 200m CARBROOK LAD and ALPHA LUCKY bumped and lost ground.

 

Race 8: TAB Anniversary Cup Final, FFA - 366m

 

JOYCE RUMBLE and TOO MANY BILLS were slow to begin. Near the 200m RED VEE and JEANNIE DREAMING collided and lost ground.

 

Race 9: Tommy Hoyland Memorial Heat 3, Grade 5 - 366m

 

HOOT delayed the start when proving difficult to load. Trainer Ms K Bussian was advised that HOOT would be declared “Hard-To-Box” and loaded first in its future engagements.

 

ARNHEM MAYHEM was slow to begin. At the start POPPYCOCK and LITTLE RIPPA, and ALBURY WAY and HARA’S HOGAN bumped and lost ground. Shortly after the start TOP SCORE and HOOT collided resulting in both runners to lose ground. Near the 250m LITTLE RIPPA checked off heels. Over the concluding stages LITTLE RIPPA was tightened for room and checked.

 

Race 10: Tommy Hoyland Memorial Heat 4, Grade 5 - 366m

 

DAM THE MAN was declared a late scratching at 8.50am when found to have an injury to the off fore leg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

 

INQUISITIVE ME and ALPHA PHOEBE were slow to begin. MIND YA BUSINESS began awkwardly and lost ground. Leaving the 200m TIME AND PLACE and MIND YA BUSINESS collided and lost considerable ground.

 

Race 11: Dave Stanley, Grade 4 – 366m

 

LITTLE EDDIE and CAWBOURNE BIGRED were slow to begin. Shortly after the start BARDO’S MEMORY shifted outwards and collided with LITTLE EDDIE, which in turn shifted out and collided with CAWBOURNE BIGRED resulting in those runners to lose ground as a consequence.

 

Race 12: Adopt A Greyhound, Masters Grade 5 – 366m

 

At the start BRIGHT SATELLITE, WINGS OF PERLITA and COOKIE NO CREAM were tightened for room and checked to varying degrees. Short after the start WINGS OF PERLITA shifted inwards and collided with BRIGHT SATELLITE resulting in both runners to be checked. Near the 200m GALWAY BLUEBIRD shifted inwards and collided with ALPHA DAENERYS resulting in that runner to blunder and lose considerable ground. Over the concluding stages POLLY’S MAID shifted out across heels and was then tightened for room by SPRING FORTE, which shifted inwards.
