RACE REPORTS

 

Race 1: ONETHECLOCK FOR TRIALS Maiden – 366m

Crazy Bonnie – was permitted a weight variation of -1.5kg under the provision of GAR 39(2) having not competed for greater than 28 days.

Stellar Star (2) – a post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside pin muscle and a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Monkey Myia (5) – from the 300m, shifted to the outside of the track.

Crocodile Tears (7) – over the concluding stages, bumped on a number of occasions with another runner and became momentarily unbalanced.

New Series (8) – over the concluding stages, bumped on a number of occasions with another runner, was hampered and lost ground.

Race 2: KEYBOW @ STUD MAIDEN FINAL – 366m

Centre Field (2) – collided with another runner approaching the 200m, was checked and lost ground. Shifted outwards across heels near the 150m.

Bear Zar (3) – collided with another runner approaching the 200m, was checked and lost ground.

San Miguel (4) – Bumped with another runner near the 250m and was momentarily hampered. Shifted outwards across heels near the 50m.

Winsome Ethan (6) – Bumped with another runner near the 250m, checked and shifted outwards.

Willie Fire (10/7) – declared a late scratching at 9:45am at kennelling when found to have an injury to the offside fore toe. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Race 3: SHELLY LOVES MOET STAKES Novice – 366m

Pay Today (2) – contacted on the heels by another runner on jumping and was checked. Shifted to the outside of the track when approaching the 200m. Bumped by another runner near the 50m and was hampered.

Call Me Candy (3) – contacted on the heels by another runner on jumping and was checked. Shifted outwards shortly after the start, bumped with another runner and was momentarily hampered. Shifted outwards and bumped with another runner near the 50m and was hampered.

Fabian Feast (4) – slow to begin. Shifted to the inside rail on jumping, contacting the heels of other runners, and was checked.

Montrachet (5) – bumped by another runner shortly after the start, shifted out across the heels of another runner, and was checked.

Alpha Hemera (6) – bumped by another runner shortly after the start, shifted outwards and was checked.

Aberdeen (8) – shifted from its outside position to the middle of the track when approaching the 300m. Shifted back to the outside of the track when approaching the 200m. Shifted to the inside of the track over the final 100m.

Race 4: CORNERSTONE RISK MANAGEMENT Masters Grade 5 – 366m

Gunna Wink (1) – slipped on jumping and lost ground.

Smart Shirl (2) – checked inwards across heels shortly after the start and lost ground.

Mustang Nova (3) – gradually shifted outwards throughout the majority of the event.

She's My Lady (4) – was hampered near the 150m by another runner, which was shifting inwards.

Roman Silver (6) – bumped with another runner on jumping and lost ground.

Cadogan (7) – bumped with another runner on jumping, shifted to the outside of the track and lost ground.

Lagoon Lucky (8) – checked inwards across heels near the 150m and hampered another runner.

Race 5: SHANE MURPHY PAINTING Pathways Grade 5 – 366m

Velostar (1) – shifted to the middle of the track leaving the 300m.

Sigarla (2) – shifted outwards on jumping, tightening runners to its outside and was hampered.

Eloise (3) – tightened for racing room on jumping and was checked.

Alpha Rhea (4) – tightened for racing room on jumping and was checked. Shifted to the outside of the track shortly after the start.

Viking White (5) – tightened for racing room on jumping, bumped by another runner and was checked.

Skylight Belle (7) – began awkwardly and was slow to begin.

Race 6: JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS Grade 5 – 366m

Waltzing Banjo (1) – bumped with another runner on jumping. Bumped with another runner near the 300m and was checked. Tightened for racing room near 250m and was checked.

Hara's Shadow (2) – bumped with another runner on jumping. Bumped with another runner near the 300m and was checked. Tightened between runners near the 250m and was checked. Shifted to the outside of the track near the 200m. Bumped with another runner near the 150m. Shifted inwards near the 100m and tightened the running of other greyhounds.

Diamond Winx (3) – bumped with another runner on jumping. Tightened for racing room near the 100m and was checked. Contacted on the hind quarters approaching the 50m and was checked.

About Ready (4) – Shifted inwards near the 250m, collided with another and was checked. Shifted to the outside of the track near the 200m. Contacted the hind quarters of another runner near the 50m and was hampered.

Flew Bye You (5) – shifted to the outside of the track near the 150m.

Call Me Roxanne (6) – gradually shifted to the inside of the track over the early stages of the event.

Race 7: GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM Mixed Grade 4/5 – 366m

Montaigne (2) – bumped with the outside runner on jumping and lost ground. Checked off heels near the 150m and shifted inwards.

Slick Shannon (3) – bumped on the hindquarters by the inside runner on jumping and lost ground.

Ellie Grace (6) – checked inwards across heels shortly after the start and lost ground.

Strait Rum (7) – checked outwards across heels shortly after the start and lost ground.

Race 8: PROSTATE CANCER FOUNDATION OF AUST. Mixed Grade 3/4 – 366m

Are Jay Junior (6) – declared a late scratching at 12:19am when found to be suffering from Kennel Stress. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. All monies placed on Are Jay Junior were ordered to be refunded in full. As no other bets had been placed with on-course bookmakers prior to this late scratching, no deductions were ordered.

Daze Like These (2) – blundered on jumping and was slow to begin. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside fore toe. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Moment To Shine (4) – tightened for racing room on jumping and was momentarily hampered.

Our Deliverance (5) – tightened for racing room on jumping and was momentarily hampered.

Smart Marlow (7) – shifted inwards on jumping, tightening runners to its inside. Shifted to the outside of the track over the final 100m.

Race 9: HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESSICA ASHFORD Grade 5 – 366m

Magic Pass (1) – checked off heels near the 50m and lost ground.

Cawbourne Oska (2) – a post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside wrist and was stood down for 10 days.

Will Eye Am (3) – shifted outwards on jumping, bumping with the runner to its outside and became momentarily hampered.

Jaycee's Lady (4) – bumped on jumping by the runner to its inside and shifted outwards while losing ground.

Chasing Dollars (8) – checked inwards off heels near the 150m and lost ground.
