Race Reports

 

Race 1 – GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM | MAIDEN | 520 M

 

CHEWING SHOES was best to begin. Leaving the front straight BAGO RUBY improved onto the heels of CHEWING SHOES, resulting in both of the greyhounds to be severely checked and lose considerable ground. At the same time REPEAT SET and MAYWYN’S XENA collide resulting in both of the greyhounds to be checked. Rounding the turn into the back straight MAYWYN’S XENA turned his head in the direction of CHEWING SHOES, failed to chase the lure with due commitment. and lost ground. Through the front straight during the later stage of the race BAGO RUBY turned his head into the direction of CHEWING SHOES which was racing on the outside and failed to chase the lure with due commitment.

 

BAGO RUBY underwent a post-race veterinary examination with no significant outcomes.

MAYWYN’S XENA underwent a post-race veterinary examination with no significant outcomes.

 

Race 2 – SKY RACING | PM | 431 M

 

GALAWAY CLARA was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Through the first turn BULLSEYE ARROW, FULL IMPACT, KNOCK ON EFFECT and FROSTY BLACK JAY all sustained interference and lost ground. Entering the back straight KNOCK ON EFFECT and WILDASH DOLLY collide resulting in both of the greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. In the front straight BULLSEYE ARROW and WILDASH DOLLY collide.

 

Race 3 – WWW. IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM| NOVICE | 431 M

 

STEAK SANDWICH was marginally slow to begin. Through the first turn STEAK SANDWICH, MY BOUQUET and BLACK KOALA all sustained interference and lost ground. Entering the back straight STEAK SANDWICH checked across heels and lost ground. Leaving the back straight SIENNA’S BOY and STYLE COUNTY collide, resulting STYLE COUNTY to be checked and lose ground. Approaching the turn into the front straight BROKEN YOLK checked across heels and lost ground. Entering the front straight STYLE COUNTY checked across heels and collided with MY BOUQUET, resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.

 

Race 4 – SECURE RACING LOGISTICS | 5th GRADE | 431 M

 

AL BRUTON was marginally slow to begin. Shortly after the start LA BAMBA was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Through the first turn DODGY ETHAN, INDOMINOUS DANE, AL BRUTON and MALUTKI all sustained interference and lost ground. Entering the back straight INDOMINOUS DANE was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Leaving the back straight AL BRUTON and LA BAMBA collide resulting in LA BAMBA to lose ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight AL BRUTON was tightened for racing room and lost ground.

 

Race 5 – WWW> IPSWICH GREYHOUNDS.COM | 5th GRADE | 431 M

 

Through the first turn RAZZIAI RAIN and HAZE PURPLE sustain interference and lost ground. Entering the back straight MAC ROAMIN’ was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Leaving the back straight MAC ROAMIN’ contacted the running rail and lost ground.

 

Stewards accepted an explanation by Mr L. Dull as to why he waved his arm after boxing MIDNIGHT DASHER.

MAC ROAMIN’ underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed it to have injured it’s near hind leg and was stood down from racing for 7 days.

 

Race 6 – TREMBATH TYRE REPAIRS | 4/5 GRADE | 431 M

 

SHE’S A SHORT was best to begin. Through the first turn WILD ROCK HAYZE, AIR TIME and CAKES ALL ROUND raced tight.

 

Race 7 – WWW. IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM | 4/5 GRADE | 520 M

 

NOT TOO BOSSY shifted out shortly after the start, which checked the running of GOT THERE. Entering the back straight. BALLYMAC JAY shifted out which hampered the running of NOT TO BOSSY. REACTOR and NOT TOO BOSSY raced wide in the back straight.

 

Race 8 – WHITE ROSE BOARDING KENNELS 5th GRADE F | 5th GRADE | 520 M

 

NO MORE CAKE shifted out shortly after start which hampered the running of KULU TURKEY.

 

IT’S A KISS underwent a veterinary examination with no significant outcomes.

 

Race 9 - WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM | 5th GRADE | 431 M

 

Approaching the first turn KULU RUBY, MAYWYN’S ZEPHYR, ADELINA and SPRING WINE all sustained interference and lost ground. Entering the back straight PARIS QUEEN was tightened for racing room and lost ground and ADELINA which was trailing was checked and lost ground.

 

PARIS QUEEN underwent a post- race veterinary examination with no significant outcomes.

 

Race 10 – MALE TRAINER OF THE YEAR 2014 - COLIN BYERS |3 / 4 GRADE | 288 M

 

KINGSBRAE MARIA was slowly to begin. Leaving the back straight WILLY TOULA was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Entering the front straight DESTINI PEGASUS shifted out which hampered the running of LID PINGER
