Race 1 – Greyhound Adoption Program Maiden H | M | 520m

Yogi Bear was best to begin. Shortly after the start, Blue Thunder Bud, Indiana Joan, and Chicko’s Charm all raced tight. Approaching the first turn, Spur On collided with the running rail, causing Blue Thunder Bud to be checked, and both greyhounds to lose ground. In the first turn, Indiana Joan and Chicko’s Charm raced tight. In the back straight, Blue Thunder Bud raced wide. In the front straight, Spur On and Blue Thunder Bud raced wide.

Spur On - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Blue Thunder Bud - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near side shoulder and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

Race 2 – Sky Racing Maiden H | M | 520m

Georgia Cette was best to begin. Approaching the first turn, Saphoni clipped heels, shifted in and checked Pearl Za Diamond and Sneaky Option, causing Sneaky Option to hit the running rail and lose ground. In the home straight, Saphoni and Next Time Gadget bumped.

Sneaky Option - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 3 – Greyhound Of Year – Snowball Otto | NOV | 520m

Mitchell John was best to begin. Shortly after the start, Cool Hand Sam shifted in, checking Galway Panther and Galway Wolfgang; at the same time, JIMARY DYNAMITE and Cool Hand Gus bumped. In the back straight, Galway Panther and Cool Hand Gus raced wide.

Race 4 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM 5th Grade H | 5 | 520m

An even start. Shortly after the start, Oxley One, Passing Nova, and Turn And Burn collided, causing Oxley One to lose ground. Leaving the first turn, Turn And Burn clipped heels. Approaching the turn into the front straight, Passing Nova clipped heels.

Race 5 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM 5th Grade H | 5 | 520m

Even start with OUTLAW DONNY marginally slow. Shortly after the start GALWAY LUDWIG clipped heels and was hampered. Approaching the first turn GALWAY LUDWIG and STOP THE IMAGE bumped. Rounding the turn into the front straight ROSDUE KIRRA and GALWAY LUDWIG bumped, at the same time STOP THE IMAGE shifted out, turned its head outwards to the direction of BUTTERFLY IS SHE, therefore failing to chase the lure with due commitment

Stop The Image - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near side hip support and was stood down for a period of 14 days.

STOP THE IMAGE – was charged under R69(a) FAILING TO PURSUE 2nd offence 1 trial and 3 months

Race 6 – Male Trainer Of The Year – Colin Byers | FFA | 520m

An even start. Approaching the first turn, all greyhounds except Kulu Ozzie and Rockford collided, causing all greyhounds to lose ground to differing degrees. Approaching the turn into the back straight Alpha Chaos and Alpha Ulysses bumped.

Race 7 – Female Trainer Of The Year – Kerry Hoggan | 3/4 | 431m

Illawong Cowgirl was best to begin. Approaching the first turn, all greyhounds except Illawong Cowgirl and Fab Fit collided, and lost ground to differing degrees. In the back straight, Illawong Cowgirl and Fab Fit collided, causing Blue Lemonade to be checked. Approaching the top turn, Blue Lemonade got into the hindquarters of Illawong Cowgirl, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.

Race 8 – Vince Curry Memorial Maiden Ips 520 (G3) F | M | 520m

An even start. In the first turn, Hollow Words and Blue Diva collided, causing Tienne Tea to be checked. In the back straight, Hollow Words raced wide.

Race 9 – Owner Of Year – Board Racing Synd | 5 | 431m

No Mediocre was best to begin. In the first turn, Vaquero collided with Surfboard and Impatient Kid, causing Impatient Kid and Surfboard to lose ground. In the back straight, No Mediocre was racing wide.

Spring Daphne - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was deemed

Race 10 – Dover & Sons | 5 | 431m

An even start, with Bow Wow Wow marginally slow. Leaving the first turn, Not Too Bossy and Spring Ruby collided. Entering the back straight, Miss Thickshake and Rosdue Matao collided. Approaching the turn into the front straight, Topaz Tan clipped heels, causing Rosdue Matao to be checked and both greyhounds to lose ground.
