Bud's Comet (1) checked of heels in the front straight and was hampered. Special System (4) quick to begin. Wide in front straight. Emmaville Minner (5) quick to begin. Bud's a Melton (7) Began awkwardly and stumbled at the start. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed the greyhound to have strained a back muscle and was stood down for a period of 14 days. Pads and Paws (8) had its heels contacted in the front straight. Race 2 – SKY RACING | Novice | 288m Lady Surprise (1) hampered entering the first turn. Bumped in front straight. Cost a Penny (2) collided with another runner entering the first turn and was checked. Bumped in front straight. Golly Goodness (3) collided with another runner entering the first turn and was checked. My Bouquet (4) collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its stomach muscle and was stood down for a period of 21 days.
