General: Due to technical issues races 1 and 2 were hand timed.

 

 

 

 

Race 1 - Happy New Year Maiden Heat 1 Maiden 288m

 

2 Clonmore – Into the 1st turn checked across heels and raced wide from that point.

 

3 Better Together – Into the 1st turn shifted in making contact with the running rail and was lost considerable ground as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

 

4 Sakkari – Raced wide throughout.

 

6 Bowl Collector- Slow to begin, into the 1st turn was inconvenienced when Clonmore shifted out.

 

9 Auriga Rachel – Slow to begin, raced wide for the entire event.

 

 

 

 

 

Race 2 - Tab Live Sky Racing Vision Maiden Heat 2 Maiden 288m

 

1 Must Be Nice – Slow to begin.

 

3 Helina’s Fantasy - A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have injured its nearside dew claw and was stood down from racing for 7 days.

 

7 Back Chat Lucy – Slow to begin, raced wide for the entire event.

 

8 Fabulous Gal – Slow to begin, through the 1st turn improved onto heels becoming unbalanced.

 

 

 

 

 

Race 3 - Sky Racing Novice (1) 288m

 

3 Freda's Pride - In the home straight turned its head out towards Imagine That. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have injured nearside wrist and was stood down from racing for 10 days. Stewards spoke to the trainer Kevin Murnane regarding the greyhound’s actions in the home straight. Stewards reviewed the video replay and considered submissions from the trainer and the veterinary report. Stewards deemed that Freda’s Pride had turned its head outwardly towards Imagine That, but could confidently say that head or muzzle contact was not made, therefore stewards invoked GAR 69A Fail to Pursue 2nd offence – 3 month stand down from racing and must complete a satisfactory trail prior to racing next.

 

5 Descend – Began awkwardly and lost ground.

 

6 Break And Enter – Into the 1st turn was tightened between runners and improved onto heels losing ground, through the 1st turn improved onto heels and shifted wider at that point.

 

7 Imagine That – Raced wide throughout.

 

8 That's Rising – Through the 1st turn raced wide. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have injured its nearside shoulder and was stood down from racing for 14 days.

1 Funny Honey – Into the 1st turn was tightened for room and shifted out bumping with Name Him Cooper.

 

4 Red Pollard – Into the 1st turn improved onto heels and fell, taking no competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities

 

5 Name Him Cooper – Through the 1st turn was inconvenienced and taken wider.

 

6 Slick Werina – Through the 1st turn was inconvenienced and taken wider.

 

8 Gunnadoo Oak – Raced wide for the majority of the event.

 

 

 

 

 

Race 5 - Greyhound_Data.Com 5th Grade Heat 1 Grade 5 431m

 

2 Zabdon Rodrigo – Bumped with Diamond Tina over the final stages.

 

4 Steel Butterfly – Approaching the back turn checked across heels and lost ground, raced wide rounding the home turn.

 

5 It Ain't Len – Raced wide rounding the home turn

 

7 Wink Wink – Into the 1st turn improved onto heels becoming unbalanced.

 

8 Diamond Tina – Tightened rounding the home turn becoming unbalanced, bumped with Zabdon Rodrigo over the final stages.

 

 

 

 

 

Race 6 - Dover & Sons 5th Grade Heat 2 Grade 5 431m

 

2 General Rose – Slow to begin

 

5 Cheer Beckham – Leaving the 1st turn improved onto heels, approaching the back turn collided with General Rose becoming unbalanced.

 

7 Made In America – Into the 1st turn was bumped becoming unbalanced.

 

8 Bench Mob – Into the 1st turn was checked across heels and raced wide as a result.

1 Valdos Steve – Approaching the back turn checked of heels and shifted out, through the back turn was bumped becoming momentarily unbalanced, raced wide rounding the home turn.

 

5 True Luck – Slow to begin, approaching the back turn was bumped and turned out taking that turn awkwardly and wide.

 

6 Maywyn's Bombora – Through the back turn was inconvenienced, raced wide throughout.

 

8 Girl Like Her – Through the 1st turn was bumped becoming unbalanced.

 

 

 

 

 

Race 8 - Just Greyhound Photos 5th Grade Heat 4 Grade 5 431m

 

2 Sky's The Limit – Raced wide throughout

 

3 He's Nosey – Into the 1st turn collided with Just A Drop and was checked losing ground, shortly after collided heavily with Maywyn’s Dahnay losing considerable ground.

 

7 Just A Drop – Into the 1st turn collided with He’s Nosey and was checked losing ground, shortly after was severely inconvenienced when collided into Maywyn’s Dahnay.

 

8 Maywyn's Dahnay – Through the 1st turn collided heavily with He’s Nosey and was severely checked losing considerable ground.

 

 

 

 

 

Race 9 - GJ Walsh & Co Mixed 4/5 288m

 

3 Lady Xena – Weakened over the final stages, a post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

 

4 Lanark Blue – Into the 1st turn when racing in restricted room was checked and lost its position.

 

6 Presley Power – Raced wide for the entire.

 

7 Golden Crest – Raced wide for the entire.

 

8 Earn And Return – Slow to begin, raced wide for the entire event.

 

 

 

 

 

Race 10 - Tab Grade 5 288m

 

1 Pamela's Girl – Rounding the home turn shifted out bumping Wildash Billy

 

2 Blackpool Amour – Into the 1st turn was tightened for room and was severely checked losing considerable ground almost falling. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

 

3 Wildash Billy – Rounding the home was bumped by Pamela’s Girl which shifted out.

 

4 Paphos Castle – Into the 1st turn was tightened for room and was severely checked losing considerable ground.

 

5 Maywyn Bossy One – Over the final stages bumped with Pamela’s Girl

 

6 Aerobic Sprite – Into the 1st turn was inconvenienced and lost ground when improved onto heels. Near the finish was tightened by Wildash Billy which shifted in

 

7 Rare Pick – Rounding the home turn and straightening for the run to the finish turned its head outwards towards Pamela’s Girl. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have injured offside pin and was stood down from racing for 10 days. Stewards advised trainer Elizabeth Griffin that Rare Pick would be penalised under R69B for Failing to Pursue by reason of injury, requiring the greyhound to complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing but only after the 10 day stand down period has expired.
