Race 1 - TAB LONG MAY WE PLAY MAIDEN (1) 431m

 

1 Devil Miss – In the back straight bumped another runner.

 

2 Shackle Breaker – Hampered on jumping. Racing through the first turn was checked and lost ground.

 

3 Bubble Magic – Racing through the first turn was checked and lost ground.

 

4 Riewoldt – Inconvenienced leaving the first turn.

 

5 Spring Kayce – Checked leaving the first turn.

 

7 Lone Munster – In the back straight bumped with another runner. Severely checked rounding the home turn.

 

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN (2) 431m

 

1 Fire Fly Elvis – Tightened rounding the first turn.

 

2 Oden's Odyssey – Began awkwardly and shifted out bumping another runner. Checked approaching the first turn. Entering the turn out of the back straight was inconvenienced.

 

3 Fighting Demons – Bumped shortly after the start. Checked approaching the first turn.

 

5 Contessa Maywyn – Approaching the first turn checked off heels and shifted out.

 

8 National Cheer – Slow to begin.

2 Loud Noise – Rounding the first turn was severely checked when tightened and fell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

 

4 White Shark – Bumped shortly after the start.

 

5 Zulu Cougar – Bumped shortly after the start. Checked through the first turn.

 

6 Galway Anne – Checked through the first turn.

 

8 Magic Mindy – Hampered through the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.  

 

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS NOVICE (2) 431m

 

2 Rosa's Tilly – Bumped approaching the first turn.

 

3 Samona – Bumped approaching the first turn. Bumped entering the turn out of the back straight.

 

4 Red Dirt Rob – Hampered leaving the first turn.

 

5 Jayville Hope – Bumped approaching the first turn. Severely checked in the early part of the home straight.

 

6 Zipping Cynthia – Inconvenienced approaching the first turn.

 

8 Yosemite Sam – Severely checked in the early part of the home straight.

 

9 Spring Luna (7) – Hampered leaving the first turn.

 

 

Race 5 - CHASE NEWSPAPER 5PW 431m

 

1 Special Karmar – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed suitable to start. Bumped shortly after the start. Racing through the first turn was severely checked and nearly fell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

 

2 Deneholme Dasher – Bumped shortly after the start. Over the concluding stages bumped with another runner.

 

3 Cawbourne Bonnie – Very slow to begin. Over the concluding stages bumped with another runner before turning its head inwards. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainers’ representative P Rigg was advised that in the stewards’ opinion the greyhound had failed to pursue the lure with due commitment over the concluding stages. As this was the greyhounds’ first endorsement under GAR69A (fail to pursue), it has been stood down for 28 days at Ipswich and until the completion of a satisfactory trial.

 

4 Jye Licious – Bumped shortly after the start. Racing through the first turn was severely checked and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

 

7 Mookie Sox – Racing through the first turn was severely checked and lost ground.

 

8 Spring Motion – Proved difficult to load. The greyhound will now be endorsed as hard to box.

2 Galway Diva – Checked through the first turn.

 

5 Lil Storm – Checked through the first turn.

 

7 Spring Jasper – Checked entering the back straight.

 

Race 7 - WHITE ROSE BOARDING KENNELS MIXED 4/5 431m

 

5 Shian Indiana – Slow to begin.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

3 Luminosity – Inconvenienced rounding the first turn.

 

6 He's Nosey – Tightened shortly after the start.

 

7 Running Numbers – Bumped rounding the first turn.

1 Ringbark Reign – Approaching the first turn shifted out abruptly.

 

6 Chance – Bumped through the first turn.

 

8 Spring Rock – Bumped through the first turn. Bumped entering the turn out of the back straight.

 

Race 10 - GIDDY-UP GRADE 5 (2) 431m

 

1 Pretty Richie – Very slow to begin.

 

4 Cockney Pride – Slow to begin.

 

5 Tuta Rose – Bumped racing through the first turn.

 

8 Werina By Chance – Slow to begin. Inconvenienced racing through the first turn.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Performance queried. Trainer J Warbroek could provide no explanation for the poor performance other than that the greyhound may have not appreciated the outside box tonight.
