Race 1 – TAB | Maiden | 407m Koda Garlay – Slow to begin. Our Funhouse – Checked from heels shortly after the start. Sian Beach – Bumped and lost ground shortly after entering the back straight. Senorita Fiesta – Marred midway up the home straight. Vigilante – Shifted out and marred the running of another runner midway up the home straight. Trainer’s representative W. Clifford was advised that Vigilante would be barred from racing at Rockhampton over 407 metres for 28 days and the completion of a satisfactory Steward’s trial. Fell after passing the finishing line. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Race 2 – Rocky Feed and Seed | Maiden | 407m Koda Kaye – Slow to begin. Collided with another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Billy Boils – Slow to begin. Bumping leaving the first turn. Special Speed – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and lost ground. During the incident collided with another runner. Premier Beach – Tightened in the early stages of the back straight and lost ground. Race 3 – Wendy Mulry Travel | Novice | 407m Stewards acting under the provisions of GAR 55 declared the event a no race as the lure was a distance greater than 8 metres from the lead greyhound and were of the opinion that this had effected the running of a number of greyhounds. Race 4 – Garrards Horse and Hound | Free For All | 510m Irish Spice – Slow into stride. Are Jay Lochie – Checked across heels and lost ground in the first turn. Race 5 – Dynamic Electrical | 5th Grade | 407m Long Shots – Bumped shortly after the start. Tightened and lost ground rounding the first turn. Velocity Pippa – Bumped shortly after the start. Tightened and lost ground rounding the first turn. Dolcetto Hayze – Tightened and lost ground rounding the first turn. Fan The Flame – Tightened and lost ground rounding the first turn. Race 6 – Diplock’s Collision and Repair Centre | 5th Grade | 407m Live In Hope – Marginally slow to begin. Tightened and lost ground rounding the first turn. Bumped another runner when losing ground. Fantasia Lee – Tightened and checked losing significant ground rounding the first turn. Scott The Hook – Bumped heavily and lost ground rounding the first turn. Race 7 – Patlaw Securities | 4th Grade | 407m Over Time – Slow to begin. Checked from heels in the early stages of the back straight. Five Forty – Bumped shortly after the start. Tightened and lost ground rounding the first turn. Tajo – Tightened shortly after the start. Checked and lost ground rounding the first turn. Esoteric – Bumped shortly after the start. Bumped again a short time later and lost ground. Factional – Tightened and lost ground rounding the first turn. Checked from heels entering the home turn. Kayla’s Monaro – Tightened and lost ground rounding the first turn. Race 8 – The Chase Magazine | Best 8 | 407m Gracious Lady – Slow to begin. Bumped shortly after the start. Inconvenienced rounding the first turn. Bossy Miss Bella – Slow to begin. Bumped shortly after the start. Hampered rounding the first turn when another runner lost ground. Dazzler’s Hanger – Severely tightened on two occasions rounding the first turn, losing ground both times. Edgy – Bumped and lost ground rounding the first turn. Mon Manny Beach – Tightened shortly after the start. Race 9 – Sandal Welding | 5th Grade | 407m Hara’s Dash – Tightened and lost ground rounding the first turn. Gotcha Man – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to be suffering sore neck muscles and was stood down for a period of 14 days. Race 10 – Dinky Di Web Design | Pathways 5th Grade | 407m Apollo’s Warrior – Slow to begin. Collided with another runner leaving the home turn and as a result was checked. Hara’s Dash – Tightened and lost ground rounding the first turn. Partial Defence – Tightened and lost ground rounding the first turn. Are Jay Jean – Tightened for racing room and lost ground entering the home turn. Mars Rising – Tightened and lost ground leaving the home turn.
