Race 1 –NEWS XPRESS MAIDEN 407Metres
BALONEY BENDER - jumped in at the start bumping a runner to the inside, shifted outwards shortly after the start and bumped another runner. MISS YOU MORE - bumped by another runner at the start. RED DIGGITY- was slow into stride. SPARKEY LASS - bumped by another runner shortly after the start. DE GEA - checked outwards across the back of MISS YOU MORE going around the first turn.
Race 2 –ROCKY FEED AND SEED NOVICE 407Metres
MUSIC MAESTRO - bumped another runner at the start, shifted out sharply on the first turn hampering two other runners. Shifted out wide on the track leaving the back straight. KHANOM CONDO - bumped another runner at the start. WESTGATE - was slow into stride and was hampered by another runner on the first turn. SENORITA FIESTA - was slow to begin. RED BRIANNA - was hampered by another runner on the first turn. SPECIAL SPEED - raced wide for the majority.
Race 3 –Anniversary Cup Heat 1 510Metres
IRONPOT SMASH - was extremely slow to begin. ROSE ALI - ran out on the first turn hampering another runner then continued to race wide for the remainder. IRISH SPICE - hampered by another runner on the first turn.
Race 4 –Anniversary Cup Heat 2 510Metres
MASTER CARD - was slow into stride and shifted in on the first turn bumping another runner. PARTIAL DEFENCE - was bumped by another runner on the first turn and commenced to drop out shortly after finishing the race well back. Was sent for a post race veterinary examination and was found to have injured both hind legs and was subsequently stood down from racing for a period of28 days.
Race 5 –DYNAMIC ELECTRICAL 5th GRADE 407Metres
COOPES - was slow to begin. ARE JAY JEAN - was slow into stride. HEADLINER - was slow into stride. SAPPHIRE RUBY - shifted out wide in the home straight.
Race 6 –DIPLOCK'S COLLISION AND REPAIR CENTRE 4th & 5th GRADE 407Metres
LA QUINTA - was slow to begin, bumped another runner entering the back straight and checked off the back of a runner leaving the back straight. MY WINDSONG - was slow into stride and was bumped by another runner entering the back straight, ducked out sharply and raced extremely wide around the home turn. CARTER STREET - was slow to begin. HIGHWAY GIRL - raced wide throughout.
Race 7 –PATLAW SECURITIES MIXED 4th& 5th GRADE 407Metres
FIVE FORTY - was checked shortly after the start and raced wide throughout. ADHARA BAY - was checked and lost ground approaching the first turn. FARMOR HEAT - shifted in approaching the first turn checking another runner, then entering the back straight lost ground when checking off the back of another runner, bumped another runner on two occasions coming around the home turn. Was sent for a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. COPYIST - checked and lost ground when dragged down behind by another runner shortly after entering the back straight. Was sent for a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. OVERTIME - run into the back of another runner shortly after entering the back straight and was bumped by another runner on two occasions coming around the home turn.
Race 8 –THE CHASE MAGAZINE BEST 8 407Metres
ACE - was slow into stride and was checked entering the back straight. HAPPY PANTERA - checked outwards off the back of another runner coming around the home turn.
Race 9 – SANDAL WELDING 5th GRADE 407Metres
APPOLLO’S WARRIOR - was extremely slow to begin and raced wide throughout. GODDESS MACHA and FANTASIA LEE bumped on a number of times approaching the first turn resulting in both greyhounds losing ground. FARMOR NO FEAR - checked off the back of another runner leaving the back straight.
Race 10 – DINKY DI WEB DESIGN M5 407Metres
BOKARM LEO - was extremely slow to begin, raced wide for the majority and bumped another runner in the home straight on two occasions. FAN THE FLAME - bumped by another runner on two occasions in the home straight. LEXUS BANNER - raced wide after leaving the back straight.
