General:

Due to Government advice around COVID-19, in accordance with GAR 51(10), the Stewards directed the Starter to box the greyhounds into the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races

Race 1 - WENDY MULRY TRAVEL MAIDEN 407m

 

2 She's Snowy, was hampered shortly after the start.

 

4 Moonlit Evening, was checked going around the first corner.

 

6 Moonlit Krystal, checked and lost ground entering the back straight.

 

7 Fat Lady's Magic, was slow to begin.

 

8 Maze Angel, was slow to begin.

 

Race 2 - DIPLOCK'S COLLISION REPAIR CENTRE NOVICE 407m

 

3 Aerobic Sprite, checked and lost considerable ground entering the back straight.

 

4 Senorita Fiesta, was checked severely entering the back straight resulting in taking a heavy fall and finishing the race well back. Was sent for a post race veterinary examination and was found to be sore in the left wrist and was stood down from racing for a period of 21 days.

 

5 Rise To Fame, was slow to begin.

 

6 Volvo Soccer Mum, was slow to begin and was checked severely losing considerable ground entering the back straight. Finished the race well back and was sent for a post race veterinary examination and no injuries were found.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Race 3 - ROCKY FEED & SEED GRADE 5 (1) 407m

 

4 Hollow Words, was checked going around the first corner.

 

7 Angry Juice, raced wide for the majority.

 

9 Shorts Small, was slow into stride and checked off heels entering the home straight.

 

Race 4 - NEWSXPRESS RICHARDSON ROAD MIXED 3/4 407m

 

2 Happy Pantera, steadied off heels approaching the first corner.

 

4 Play Win, was hampered going around the first corner and raced wide for the majority

 

5 Cisco Sniper, received a slight check shortly after the start, pulled up and took no further part in the race. Was sent for a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a badly injured left hind leg was stood down from racing for a period of 60 days. Trainer transported the greyhound to the off course veterinary surgery for xrays.

 

6 Ava Surprise, was hampered going around the first corner.

 

8 Apollo's Warrior, was slow into stride.

 

Race 5 - DINKY DI WEB DESIGN 4/5 GRADE FINAL MIXED 4/5 407m

 

2 Loves Me Not, was checked and lost ground in the back straight.

 

3 Angry Angus, received a check going around the first corner.

 

4 Kinate, was slow to begin and received a check going around the first corner.

 

5 Infrared, was slow into stride and was hampered going around the first corner.

 

7 Sumatran Star, was checked and lost ground in the back straight.

 

9 Paua Of Bondi, received a check going around the first corner.

 

 

Race 6 - DYNAMIC ELECTRIC ROCKY CARNIVAL SPRINT FINAL OPEN 407m

 

2 Remember Col, was hampered going around the first corner and checked off heels in the back straight.

 

3 Due To Sizzle, was checked in the back straight

 

4 Johnny Harks, was checked in the back straight.

 

5 Digger's Cove, was slow to begin and was hampered shortly after the start,

 

 

Race 7 - TAB ROCKHAMPTON CUP (G3) CONSOLATION OPEN 510m

 

4 Miss Maia, was checked and lost considerable ground shortly after the start and raced wide for the majority.

 

6 Klemmer Banner, was hampered going around the first corner.

 

7 Flying Jet, checked of heels leaving the back straight.

 

8 Dr. Braelyn, was slow into stride and raced wide throughout.

 

Race 8 - TAB ROCKHAMPTON CUP (G3) FINAL OPEN 510m

1 Craig's Regret, bumped with another runner going around the first corner.

 

4 Precious Hope, raced wide throughout.

 

6 Waltzing Danube, bumped with another runner going around the first corner.

 

7 Rose Ali, was checked going around the first corner and raced wide throughout.

 

8 Tommy Lava, was slow into stride, checked off heels going around the first corner.

 

 

Race 9 - SKY RACING GRADE 5 (2) 407m

 

4 Golden Devil, was checked and lost ground entering the back straight, finished the race well back. Was sent for a post race veterinary examination and was found to be sore in the right hind muscle and was stood down from racing for 14 days.

 

5 Fiesty Senorita, was checked and lost ground going around the first corner.

 

6 Archie Harks, was checked and lost ground going around the first corner.  

 

8 Sheza Code Blue, raced wide throughout.

 

Race 10 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND MA5 407m

 

3 Diesel Magic, was very slow to begin and checked off heels in the back straight.

 

4 Roman Sand, was checked heavily and lost considerable ground entering the back straight then raced wide for the remainder.

 

7 Road Scholar, was very slow to begin, finished the race well back. Was sent for a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured metatarsal on the right hind and was stood down from racing for 42 days.
