General:

Following the running of race 7 the lure malfunctioned and required immediate repair works. Consequently, race 8 was rescheduled for 9:12pm, race 9 for 9:38pm and race 10 for 9:58pm.

Race 1 – WENDY MULRY TRAVEL NOV/M 407m

2 Qualified – Held up for clear running rounding the home turn and for a short distance into the home straight. Bumped the hind of another runner shortly after entering the home straight after which the greyhound shifted in abruptly making heavy contact with a different runner to the inside. 

 

3 Moonlit Evening – Hampered shortly after entering the home straight.

 

4 Dr. Zayd – Shifted out shortly after the start. Bumped heavily shortly after entering the home straight.

 

5 Mystery Train – Marginally slow to begin. Tightened and lost ground rounding the first turn.

 

7 Nanny's Magic – Tightened and lost ground leaving the first turn.

 

Race 2 – DIPLOCK'S COLLISION REPAIR CENTRE GRADE 5 (1) 407m

1 El Mangos – Gave ground in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

 

5 Speed Action – Tightened shortly after the start. Checked and lost ground shortly after entering the back straight.

 

6 Shady Max – Tightened shortly after the start. Checked across heels in the later stages of the back straight.

 

8 Lonnie Danger – Slow to begin.

 

Race 3 – ROCKY FEED & SEED GRADE 5 (2) 407m

2 Off Break – Tightened and lost ground shortly after the start. Shifted out over the distance of the home straight.

 

3 Farmor Watch Us - Slow into stride. Forced wide on the home turn.

 

4 He Flash – Slow into stride.

 

5 Miss Williams – Hampered rounding the home turn. Climbed on by another runner leaving the home turn and lost significant ground. A post-race veterinary examination found the greyhound to be sore across the withers and was stood down from racing for a period of 10 days.

 

6 Moustache – Tired over the concluding stages.

 

7 Tough Elle – Forced out abruptly leaving the home turn.

Race 4 – CENTRAL QUEENSLAND DERBY HEAT 1 OPEN 510m

1 Sumatran Star – Tightened and hampered rounding the first turn. Hampered and lost ground leaving the home turn.

 

2 Ollie's Lad – Slow into stride. Checked and lost ground shortly after entering the back straight.

 

5 Klemmer Banner – Bumped shortly after the start. Checked from heels leaving he first turn. Checked again shortly after entering the back straight.

 

7 Barcia Bullet – Tightened shortly after the start.

 

8 Speed To Burn- Bumped shortly after the start. Raced wide around the first turn.

 

Race 5 – CENTRAL QUEENSLAND DERBY HEAT 2 OPEN 510m

2 On The Buses – Checked and lost ground rounding the first turn.

 

4 Coast Guard – Bumped heavily shortly after the start.

 

6 Not Scared – Checked from heels and hampered shortly after whilst rounding the first turn.

 

8 Remember Col – Raced wide through the first turn.

 

Race 6 – NEWSXPRESS RICHARDSON ROAD GRADE 5 (3) 407m

2 Dr. Braelyn – Slow to begin.

 

4 Boston Honey – Tightened and lost ground leaving the first turn.

 

5 Link Here – Tightened and lost ground leaving the first turn. Held up briefly rounding the home turn.

 

8 Hayley's Rocket – Hampered and lost ground leaving the first turn.

3 Bet On Betty – Tightened and lost significant ground rounding the first turn.

7 Mexicali Jane – Tightened and lost ground leaving the first turn. Tightened and lost ground rounding the home turn.

 

Race 9 – DINKY DI WEB DESIGN MIXED 2/3 407m

7 Red Jamie – Slow to begin.

 

8 Johnny Harks – Slow to begin.

 

Race 10 – GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND 5PW 407m

2 Oriental Sugar – Carried wide on the home turn and lost significant ground.

 

4 Miss Maia – Bumped and lost ground shortly after the start. Checked and lost ground in the early stages of the back straight. Held up for clear running approaching the home turn. Shifted out abruptly to obtain clear running and carried two other greyhounds wide on the track.

 

7 Birmingham Lass – Carried wide on the home turn and lost significant ground.

 

8 Blazing Penske – Slow to begin.
