Race 1 – GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM | NOVICE | 380M
Even start with BUTCHULLA MAGIC slow to begin.
SAPAELE checked across the heels of RAISE YOUR GLASS and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight causing interference to PAINT THE OCEAN and IMPENDING STORM.
The greyhound IMPENDING STORM underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.
The greyhound SAPAELE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near wrist and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
Race 2 – RQ MAIDEN 1000 TSV FINAL | MAIDEN | 380M
TRENDY HAWKE was the best to begin. INDIE’S CHOICE was slow to begin
SHAKE THE PAINT was tightened for racing room and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight
GOMILE raced wide on the turn into the front straight.
SHAKE THE PAINT shifted out across the heels of TENDY HAWKE bumping YOU’RE SO VAIN out on to SHAKEY PISTOL on the turn into the front straight resulting in the three greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.
YOU’RE SO VAIN and SHAKEY PISTOL bumped on several occasion in the front straight.
Race 3 – ADVANCED GARDEN SHEDS | MA5 | 380M
Even start.
MAXIMUM BABE and KY KENNETH were tightened for racing room shortly after the start.
MAXIMUM BABE checked off KY KENNETH and lost considerable ground in the back straight.
GOOD PEOPLE was tightened for racing room and lost ground after turning out of the back straight.
The greyhound MAXIMUM BABE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off elbow and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
Race 4 – GOLFLINKS FISH BAR | GRADE 5 | 380M
Even start. SWAP ME lost ground as the start was affected.
YOSSI was tightened for racing room and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.
YOSSI raced wide into the front straight.
