Race 1 – Adopt a Retired Racer | Grade M | 380m Ashlyn Blue (1) – Shifted out and bumped another runner on the turn into the front straight. Gomile (2) – Bumped another runner and raced wide on the turn into the front straight. Raced wide in the front straight Cape De Belle (3) – Best to begin. Queen of Dough (6) - Slow to begin. Checked off another runner prior to turning into the front straight. Go Pandy Go (7) – Lost ground shortly after the start. Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.
Race 2 – Advanced Garden Sheds | Grade M | 380m Last Call (3) – Lost ground sharply prior to turning out of the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stood down from racing until the completion of a satisfactory trial for unsatisfactory performance. GAR71. Shake the Paint (4) – Raced wide in the front straight. Fawn Yogi Blue (5)- Best to begin. Raced wide into and down the front straight. Pappa Knows Jest (8) – Checked off another runner shortly after the start. Inconvenienced by another runner in the back straight.
Race 3 – Lamberts Fresh Produce | Grade NOV | 380m Manila Jet (1) – Checked off another runner in the back straight. Rambutan (3) – Checked off heels on the turn out of the back straight. Ripplebrook Ben (4) – Best to begin. Mr. Sugar Daddy (6) – Slow to begin. Raced wide in the front straight. Trendy Hawke (7) – Checked off another runner in the back straight. Raise Your Glass (8) – Shifted out across heels to race wide on the turn into the front straight.
Race 4 – Wongabel Kennels | Grade NOV | 380m Tippee Riddell (1) – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight. Checked off heels approaching the turn into the front straight. Hot Spuds (2) – Tightened for racing room in the back straight. Butchulla Magic (3) – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start. Yuken Sunshine (5) – Best to begin. Raced wide in the front straight. Nangar Breeze (7) – Checked across heels to race wide on the turn into the front straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Gunnadoo Bella (8) – Checked by another runner and almost fell approaching the turn into the front straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off triceps and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
Race 5 – Gecko Transport | Grade 5 | 380m Even start. Paint the Ocean (2) – Tightened for racing room and fell approaching the turn out of the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Nicmac Jett (3) – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight. Murphy Rumble (8) – Slow into stride as the start was effected. Checked by another runner on the turn out of the back straight. Swear Jar (9) – Checked by another runner approaching the turn out of the back straight.
Race 6 – Angliss Meats Townsville | Grade M5 | 380m Waylon Bale (1) – Tightened for racing room approaching the turn into the front straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Arts (2) – Slow to begin. Rowdy Sprite (3) – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight. Rimba Samba (5) – Checked by another runner on the turn out of the back straight. Hannah Jay Jay (6) – Slow to begin. Checked by another runner on the turn out of the back straight. Pass the Ammo (8) – Slow to begin.
Race 7 – Skinny Supa Deli | Grade 5 | 498m Westmead Warrior (1) – Checked by another runner on the turn into the front straight. Rhonda’s Bear (2) – Bumped another runner as the start was effected. Super Sting (3) – Bumped by another runner as the start was effected. Inconvenienced by another runner on the turn into the front straight. Nova Party (4) – Tightened for racing room on the turn into the back straight. Bumped another runner entering the front straight. Black Rusky (6) – Checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. El Bazza (8) – Bumped another runner entering the front straight.
Race 8 – Bohle Barn Hotel Motel | Mixed 1/2 | 380m Dalmatynski (2) – Slow to begin Innocent Man (6) – Tightened for racing room in the back straight. Lodgement (8) – Raced wide into the front straight.
Race 9 – Scoops Fish & Chips | Mixed 3/4 | 380m Billy Bojangles (2) – Raced wide into the front straight, Kenna (5) – Best to begin. Poppy Chooky (6) – Tightened for racing room approaching the turn out of the back straight. Czarny (8) – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.
Race 10 – Garrards Horse & Hound | Grade 4 | 380m Even start. Fancy A Beer (2) – Slow into stride as the start was effected. Birr (4) – Lost ground shortly after the start. Choc Latte Cloud (7) – Checked off another runner and fell on the turn out of the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination of Choc Latte Cloud revealed the greyhound sustained a spinal fracture. The greyhound was humanely euthanized by the veterinarian.
Race 11 – Barrys Bulk Haulage | Grade 5 | 498m The start of the race was delayed 2 minutes due to the boxes failing to open on the first occasion. All greyhounds were removed from the boxes and passed fit to start by the veterinarian. A start was effected on the second occasion. Tin Star (5) – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start. Up North Dougie (6) – Checked off another runner on the first turn.
Race 12 – Golflinks Fish Bar | Grade 5 | 380m Even start. Strong Enough (2) – Checked off another runner approaching the turn out of the back straight. Ripplebrook Tim (3) – Checked off heels on the turn out of the back straight. Checked off heels on the turn into the front straight. Rose Honey (4) – Raced wide in the front straight.
