General:

Trainer P. Smith was fined $100 under the provisions of GAR 39.3 for presenting Cracker Jack Joey to race in race3 with a weight variation outside the requirements of the Rules of Greyhound Racing.  Subsequently Cracker Jack Joey was a late scratching from the race.

Race 1 - Tab Maiden 380m

1 Inconsequential – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

3 Abandon – Slow to begin.

4 Not The Norm – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

6 Crown Wexie – Slow to begin. Checked off another runner in the back straight.

8 Supido - Underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.  Stewards questioned the racing manners of the greyhound, in particular over the concluding stages of the race.  After speaking with the trainer’s representative J. Wooler Stewards afforded the greyhound the benefit of a very grave doubt in relation to its racing manners and subsequently stood Supido down from racing until the completion of a satisfactory trial, for which the Stewards deemed was a unsatisfactory performance.

Race 2 - Garrards Horse & Hounds 0-3 Wins 498m

1 Highly Rated – Tightened for racing room on the turn out of the back straight.

2 Guard Of Honour – Checked, hampered and forced wide by another runner on the turn into the front straight.

4 All Image – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.  Shifted out and marred another runner on the turn into the front straight.  All Image was stood down from racing under the provisions of GAR 69.1 for marring, for a period of 28 days and the completion of a satisfactory trial.

8 Who's The Muscle – Slow to begin.

Race 3 - Angliss Meats Novice 380m

1 Waetea – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

2 Turn The Key – Slow to begin.  Checked across heels on the turn into the front straight.

4 Bread Maker – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

5 Mali's Bullet – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Checked across heels on the turn into the front straight.

Race 4 - Organic Solutions Australia Best 8 380m

1 Billy Bottaluchi – Slow into stride and tailed off.  Underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

2 Flying Tornado – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

7 Ragin' Soldier – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 5 - Arthur McMahon Training Grade 5 (1) 380m

1 Looming Lara – Slow to begin.

2 Heart's A Mess – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

4 Clover Lee – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

5 Georgia Pie – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 6 - Bohle Ice Grade 5 (2) 380m

2 I'm Scandalous – Stewards questioned the racing manners of the greyhound in particular over the concluding stages of the race.  Subsequently acting under the provisions of GAR 69 A I’m Scandalous was stood down from racing for a period of 28 days and the completion of a satisfactory trial for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.

3 Dr. Rayna – Slow to begin.

4 Wahroonga Lass – Checked off another runner shortly after the start.

5 Savannah Sun - Underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 7 - Harold Hovi Mixed 4/5 380m

2 Rum And Hustle – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

3 Let's Go Sally – Checked off another runner and fell shortly after the start.  Underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

4 Loose Lips Jack – Slow to begin.

5 Mac Zephyr – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

8 Mali's Millions- Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 8 - Premium Glass Fencing Grade 4 380m

3 Maggi Rose – Tightened for racing room approaching the turn out of the back straight.  Raced wide into the front straight.

4 Saltarello – Tightened for racing room approaching the turn out of the back straight.

5 Quinn Bale – Tightened for racing room approaching the turn out of the back straight.

7 Max The Maniac – Checked off another runner shortly after the start.  Raced wide into the front straight.

8 Magnolia Wind- Raced wide into the front straight.

3 Winsome Fever - Jumped awkwardly and was slow into stride as the start was affected.
