7 Polly's Magic – Checked off another runner after turning out of the back straight.

 

 

Race 2 - GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND NOVICE 380m

 

1 Big Pikachu – Raced wide on the turn into the front straight.

 

2 Waetea – Checked from behind by another runner and almost fell on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

3 Broken Free – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.

 

6 Blinding Lights – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.  Checked off another runner after turning out of the back straight.

 

7 Whauchope Jinx – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

 

8 Wink At Me – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

 

 

Race 3 - JUDY OLSEN 0-2 WINS 498m

 

1 Secret Shades – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.

 

2 Highly Rated - Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.

 

4 Conglomerate - Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.  Tightened for racing room on the turn out of the back straight.

 

6 Who's The Muscle - Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.

 

7 Zipping Sapphire - Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.

 

 

 

 

Race 4 - LOUNDS FRESH SEAFOOD MIXED 3/4 380m

 

2 Mac Zephyr – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight.

 

4 Jimary Cricket – Checked off another runner in the back straight.

 

6 Awesome Alex – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start.  Improved on to heels on the turn out of the back straight.

 

8 Ted's Glory – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

 

 

Race 5 - PETER & SHERRI O'REILLY GRADE 5 380m

 

1 Marty Byrde – Checked across heels entering the front straight.

 

2 My Bro Benji – Slow to begin.

 

4 Xericom Bale – Lost ground and tailed off shortly after the start.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off-front leg muscle and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

5 Wynburn Cruz – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

 

6 Dr. Grayson – Checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight.

 

7 Long Time Tony – Lost ground sharply whilst leading on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off hind leg ligament and was stood down for a period of 28 days and veterinary certificate prior to racing again.

 

8 Peter Thief – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

 

 

Race 6 - GLEN & NARELLE LUCKIE GRADE 5 (1) 380m

 

1 Looming Lara – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner approaching the turn out of the back straight.

 

3 Let's Go Sally – Checked off another runner in the back straight.  Tailed off to finish a distant last.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a sprain to the near wrist and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

4 Saltarello – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner in the back straight.  Checked off the hind quarters of another runner on the turn into the front straight.

 

7 Firefly Star – Slow to begin.  Checked from behind by another runner on the turn into the front straight.

 

 

Race 7 - BILLY THOMAS GRADE 5 (2) 380m

 

4 Broken Halos – Raced wide into the front straight.

 

5 Aston Cash – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.  Checked off heels entering the front straight

 

7 Riding Hood – Raced wide into the front straight.

3 Miss Verity - Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.  Checked off another runner entering the back straight.  Checked across heels in the front straight.

 

4 Ragin' Soldier – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.  Checked off another runner entering the back straight.

 

6 Sensational – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner and fell on the turn into the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

6 Mighty Option – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

 

8 What Expiry – Slow into stride as the start was affected.
