General:

Trainer P. Smith  was fined $100 under the provisions of GAR 39.3 for presenting Big Pikachu  to race with a weight variation outside the requirements of the Rules of Greyhound Racing.  Subsequently Bid Pikachu was a late scratching from race 11.

2 Aston Fabre – Checked off another runner and fell on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

3 Patriot Winfrey – Slow to begin.

4 Aston Merlot – Bumped another runner in the front straight.

6 Core Lit Insane – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

7 Uncatchable Girl – Bumped another runner and fell in the front straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

8 May Do – Slow to begin.

Race 2 - GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND NOVICE 380m

2 King Cabang – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

4 Abandon – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Raced wide into the front straight.

7 Rival Simmo – Checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight.  Checked off another runner entering the front straight.

Race 3 - JUDY OLSEN 0-3 WINS 498m

1 Glitter Strip – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.  Bumped another runner on the turn into the front straight.

2 Highly Rated – Tightened for racing room on the turn into the back straight.

4 Mr. Mendoza – Tightened for racing room on the turn into the back straight.

5 All Image – Bumped another runner on the turn into the front straight.

7 Turn The Key – Bumped another runner on the turn into the front straight.

8 Secret Shades – Bumped another runner on the turn into the front straight.

Race 4 - LOUNDS FRESH SEAFOOD GRADE 5 (1) 380m

3 Red Solo Cup – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 5 - PETER & SHERRI O'REILLY MIXED 4/5 380m

3 Sketchy A Bit – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

8 Little Red Wagon – Checked off another runner in the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 6 - LOUISE PARTLANG GREYHOUND PHOTOGRAPHY MIXED 4/5 498m

The 498m boxes failed to open on the first occasion.  All starters were removed from the boxes, checked by the veterinarian and were passed fit to start.  The start was affected on the second occasion.

1 Riding Hood – Bumped and checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight.

2 Cawbourne Blaze – Slow to begin.

4 Twenty Dollars – Bumped another runner on the turn into the front straight.

5 Scarlet's Return – Bumped and checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight.

6 Copper Canyon – Slow to begin.

7 Wink At Me – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.

Race 7 - GLEN & NARELLE LUCKIE GRADE 4 380m

The 380m boxes failed to open on the first occasion.  All starters were removed from the boxes, checked by the veterinarian and were passed fit to start.  The start was affected on the second occasion.

3 Magnolia Wind – Bumped another runner on the turn into the front straight.

6 Velocity Larni – Bumped another runner on the turn into the front straight.

8 Yellow Heart – Slow to begin.

Race 8 - BILLY THOMAS BEST 8 380m

1 Samshu – Checked off another runner and fell on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

2 Miss Verity – Checked off another runner and fell on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a concussion and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

5 Town Tamer – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner and fell on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

8 Rob's Gift – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 9 - WOOLER RACING GRADE 5 (2) 380m

1 Joda – Marginally slow to begin.

5 Dutch Ambition – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

6 Bemused – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 10 - DAN THE PAINTER MAN GRADE 5 (3) 380m

1 Lektra Midnight – Slow to begin.

3 Blinding Lights – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

5 Scarify – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight.

8 Keith – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 11 - ANGLISS MEATS 5PW 380m

1 Fireman George – Slow to begin.

3 Winsome Fever – Slow to begin.

4 Zone In – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

5 Aston Winnie – Slow to begin.  Lost ground in the back straight, tailed off to finish last.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to be anaemic and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
