Race 1: BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP - 1000 metres
 
OAKFIELD GETTEM – Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
CHEEKY CHOPS – Slow to begin and slow into stride.
 
CHILLI PRAWN – Blundered and jumped inwards losing ground, shifted off heels to gain clear running approaching the 80m.
 
ISIS JECTALE – Travelled wide for much of the race with cover.
 
ROCK PAPER SIZZLE – Dipped on jumping and jockey B. Richardson elected to travel wide to avoid the dusty track conditions. Jockey Richardson stating the gelding did not handle the hard track surface.
 
KURIL FOX – Hung out rounding the home turn and lay in over the concluding stages.
 
 
Race 2: CLASS 6 PLATE - 1000 metres 
 
LEO’S EXPRESS – Jumped away awkwardly and brushed WICKED GRIMSHAW. Jockey B. Richardson was fined the sum of $400 under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for her use of the whip (3 more than permissible) on her 3rd breach of the rule.
 
HAZAR – Travelled for much of the race.
 
WICKED GRIMSHAW – Brushed with LEO’S EXPRESS on jumping.
 
ROSEXCEL – Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
BEST GUESS – Jumped awkwardly.
 
PRINCESS LOTTIE – Jumped away awkwardly then bucked shortly after the start and taken wider on the track to avoid the dusty conditions. Trainer W. Baker was advised the mare would need to trial to the satisfaction of stewards prior to next start.
 
 
 
 
 
Race 3: QTIS MAIDEN PLATE - 1200 metres  
 
DEELING US IN – Slow into stride.
 
GEOVANNI – Slow into stride and travelled wide for much of the race.
 
OUR EPPY – Travelled wide with cover in the early and middle stages, ducked in near the 100m.
 
PACQUOLA – Threw head in the air on jumping losing ground.
 
STRIKE POINT – Raced greenly down the home straight. Jockey Z. White was charged under AR132(7)(a)(ii) and fined the sum of $500 for her use of the whip (one more than permitted) on her 10th breach of the rule.
 
 
 
Race 4: RATINGS BAND 0 – 60 HANDICAP - 1200 metres  
 
 
BURDEN – Hung out rounding home turn.
 
BLAINE – Jockey D. Graham was fined the sum of $500 for her use of the whip (two more than permitted) on her 7th breach of the rule.
 
HARVEST PRIDE – Slow to begin.
 
AQUAGEM – Travelled wide and hung out rounding the home turn then lay in down the home straight.
 
GOLDSAY – Travelled wide when jockey Z. White was hit by a rock shortly after the start then taken wider on the home turn when an inside runner hung out.
 
FOR THE RECORDS – Travelled wide with cover in the early and middle stages then taken wider on the home turn by another runner.
 
AUTHADANE – Slow to muster early speed.
 
 
Race 5: OPEN PLATE  - 1200 metres      
 
FULLY MAXED – Shifted out shortly after the start.
 
FAB’S COWBOY – Travelled wide for much of the race with no cover.
 
HEROISM – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
 
Race 6: BENCHMARK 65 HANCICAP – 1700 metres
 
 
BALIUS – Apprentice J. Molloy was permitted to claim 0.50kg of his 4kg claim to ride at his nominated riding weight of 55.50kg.
 
ARGENTO PERLO – Jumped away awkwardly and ducked out at the 100m and had to be corrected.
 
TANG DYNASTY – Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
MISHANI CENTURION – Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
After the running of race 6 the judges in determining first & second place used the photographs & images of the finish to assist in determining positions. Declaring SNIPFIT first and ARGENTO PERLO second. Jockey Z. White the rider of ARGENTO PERLO the second-place getter lodged a protest against first place SNIPFIT (D. Graham) for alleged overuse of the whip. Upon hearing evidence from both jockeys and connections of the horses and viewing the patrol footage on hand the protest was dismissed and correct weight was given on 1st SNIPFIT, 2ND ARGENTO PERLO, 3RD BALIUS, 4TH HACKSAW RIDGE.
