Stewards inquired into the reasons WINDMILL LANE was scratched from the FLYNN CIVIL OPEN HANDICAP. Stewards took evidence from Dr E Maloney who advised that he has treated the gelding on numerous occasions in the past for various hoof conditions. After considering the evidence Stewards accepted the explanation and no further action was taken.
