YOU KNOW THE ONE was declared a late scratching at 8:00am by order of the Stewards. Trainer L Baker was issued a $100 fine under LR68 for failing to scratch by the perscribed time.
 
LADY ELLEY was declared a late scratching by order of the Stewards acting on Veterinary advice at 11:30am.
 
Race 1: NUTRIEN/ GDL/ WOODHAM PETROLEUM BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP 1000m
 
ELITE GREY – Broke through the barriers prior to starting and was quickly restrained by its rider. Fractious in the barriers.
 
USURP – Began awkwardly making contact with the barrier partition.
 
AMERICAN GENIUS – Slow into stride. Had difficulty obtaining clear running in the home straight.
 
ANGELS OF FENWAY – Raced wide without cover for the majority. Hung out from the 600m.
 
Race 2: LAND TRANSPORT CLASS B HANDICAP 1000m
 
BUDDIE OLLIE- Slow to begin. Jockey J Baker was fined $300 for returning to scale in excess of 0.5kilogram overweight.
 
OUR VERA – Began awkwardly.
 
UNSURE - Began awkwardly.
 
ROCK PAPER SIZZLE- Began awkwardly.
 
GET IN THE GROOVE- Tightened for room at the start.
 
OLD TOWN ROAD- Tightened for room at the start.
 
TENT LOVER- Raced wide throughout.
 
IQELA - Raced wide throughout.
 
Race 3: AUSTRALIAN COUNTRY CHOICE / GLOBAL LIGHTING SOLUTIONS QTIS MAIDEN PLATE  1200m
 
ORDERS – Bumped another runner shortly after the start.
 
METRICAL – Tightened for room on jumping.
 
MOUNT BENNY – Tightened for room on jumping.
 
WEATHER MAN – Laid in for the majority. Raced 5 wide without cover throughout.
 
GREY RULES – Raced 4 wide without cover throughout.
 
Race 4: LYN & JACK CARMICHAEL MEMORIAL RATINGS BAND 0-60 HANDICAP 1300m
 
SPARMAN – Bounded on jumping losing ground.
 
HOT CHOCOLATE – Tightened between runners on jumping and lost ground. Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
PHONZIA – Raced wide throughout.
 
Race 5: SHERIDAN DELFORCE TRANSPORT BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 1300m
 
JUST FAVULOUS – Raced ungenerously whilst being restrained. Raced 3 wide without cover throughout. Apprentice J Molloy was issued a $300 fine under AR211 for returning to scale in an excess of 0.5kilograms overweight.
 
CHINCHINBILLA – Blundered on jumping.
 
ROTHABYE – Blundered on jumping.
 
AUTHADANE – Slow to begin.
